We bought this as a birthday present for my son he is so happy with it and easy to attach to other hot-wheel tracks he had.
It works fine with the cars that come with the track and my son loves playing with it. However, we have lots of other similar sized cars from Hot Wheels, Match Box, Mattel etc. but they’re either slightly too big or too small for the track and they don’t work properly with the launchers. I would expect at least the Hot Wheels cars to work with the track.
This is a great Hot Wheels set, easy to assemble, a few different layouts and great that you can easily pack it all way
Christmas present for 6 year old boy, went down well. Love how the track all fits back into one crate so great for storing when not in use. Two different tracks can be created and it’s a great starter hot wheels set for any car racing fans. My son can spend hours playing with this racing his cars so this was a great purchase, especially at the price (41).
If you’re not an instructions person, you may have more crashes than normal. There are a couple of fidly bits that will need to be adjusted so the cars flow down the track more smoothly. It can be a simple bit of plastic just needs pushing down that can make all the difference. Check video’s online to help!
This track can be very frustrating at times but can also be extremely fun. I do recommend not using the loop but if your buying for the loop be prepared for crashes . It gets annoying. Test yours cars like I said. It is well worth it.
Set up could be tricky for under 6. Once watched a grown-up a couple of times it should be fairly straightforward but get all the parts correctly positioned.
Tidying away can be easy if you know where all the pieces go. Again, a few times and you’ll get the hang of it.
Very sturdy. It has been used loads and taken apart every time. Still going strong.
The pushers that come with the set are not very good. These are used if you’re not using the gravity launch. I like a clean start to a race and the pushers make it unfair. I take hot wheels races seriously. If the cars aren’t the right size they may crash as they come out of the pushers.
Great race track. Its not going to work perfectly everytime but when it does, it’s amazing. As a family we know the quick cars and get excited when they are put up against new cars. The loop can be good for causing trouble with the fast cars. Might make the race more interesting.
In the end, just have fun.

Good quality but the best thing is that it packs neatly back into the crate (rather than taking up half the room!). Good, fun track options that also accommodate Monster Trucks.
Got this for my boys and they love it, you can change the track several ways and the best bit is that it’s built solidly so even three year olds have a tough time breaking it! A+
