Brought this for our Grandson as part of his Christmas present. He loved it. He couldn’t stop playing it. It all folds down into its own carry case, so easy to take a way on holiday etc.

Our grandson adores vehicles of any sort but this has wowed him. The car stays on the track and completes the loop with ease, he found pulling the launcher back a bit tricky to begin with but has the hang of it now.
This is a quality toy and the price is great too.
We have various hot wheels tracks around the house and this was a nice addition. Can be set up in 2 configurations and is easy to build yet a sturdy track.
Great little set. The unique fuel can design is awesome and makes it a really great gift. My son loved the fact that there are spaces inside the can designed to hold the pieces of the set. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Everything packs away inside so it’s easy to store. Great that you can add on more tracks to make a much bigger set (not included). Would also make a great case for a little one to store and carry his or her cars around in.

I really like the idea of this, I love the gas can look when it’s all closed away and storage for the car and also the fact you can change the tracks to different ones stops it getting repetitive too fast. I found it a little confusing at first on how to put it together as it didn’t seem clear but once I had it and got used to how the track fits together it was pretty easy to do. I found the disassembly easier than building you just have to angle it right and push the small tab in to remove the track. My son played with this for ages and really liked carrying around to other houses to set it up again. Really impressed.
This set comes in a bright red petrol can designed box. The set includes 1 car, and tracks. The tracks can be set up in 2 different ways, and both setups have a loop, which is a lot of fun to watch the car go. The tracks and car can be stored in the petrol can case, which is always a great idea with toys which have many parts. This is a high quality, fun set.
This is quite large toy. It is a track building set for Hot Wheels and the storage case is shaped like a fuel can. This is quite eye catching and creative. It is also handy as it has a handle and make for very good storage for the actual toy’s pieces.
Inside, you get all the elements needed to create a really fun track with loops and all. It also comes with a car so you don’t need to go buy any extras on top of this set. It doesn’t feel like a lot of pieces come in this set but, once put together, it is a lot of fun.
The Hot Wheels set arrived safely, and it comes well packaged inside a cool looking fuel can type case which becomes part of the set when open and storage for the parts when closed, I really like this idea!
The instructions are very easy to understand, and the set can be up and running within a few minutes.
On its own it is quite a simple Hot Wheels set, with the aim being to launch a car through the loop and up the vertical curve to get to the end of the track where it goes through a spinning door. Of course, being part of the Track Builder Unlimited series, you can join other sets and pieces with this one to create the ultimate Hot Wheels set to play with.
The included Hot Wheels car works well with the launcher and goes round the track nicely. Most other HW cars we tested also work well, it’s mainly the weight of them that decides how well they go round the track.
Overall, I really like this Fuel Can set as its quick to setup, provides a decent level of entertainment, and stores away in its own box. At less than thirty quid I feel it represents good value for money, I’m happy to recommend this item and I feel its easily worth the full five stars!
It’s sturdy and durable build. Not prone to breaking or cracking when played with frequently.
The ramp can be built in several different ways, so it can be changed time and again for different play sessions. It’d be hard for children to get bored easily with this!
The finished models are surprisingly big, and everything can be stored compactly inside the case. Great portability for storage or travelling.
The launcher works well and can be adjusted for different speeds (and in some cases, different speeds work better for different cars).
Great value kit for the price. A wonderful gift idea for young Hot Wheels fans! Would happily recommend!

A great addition to any hotwheels fan or as a first set to get them into the world of hot wheels. Comes well presented in a durable plastic case in the shape of a bright red fuel can. It opens up so the inside not only holds all the pieces, but becomes part of the build of the track. Theres a plastic viewing window so you can see the car which is included. It takes a little time to set up, but once complete, looks impressive and a good size. Launch the car at the bottom and it races up the track, back down and round the loop. You’re able to change the track so it goes outwards instead of upwards, anyway which you can imagine. The pieces can all be connected with other hotwheels playsets, so your track can be endless, or this is perfect to be played with by itself. Only one car is included, but you can use other hot wheels cars to play. It’s quite a sturdy set and can be stored quite easily with everything tidy in place inside. A nice set and a good size, perfect for any hot wheels fan.
This is a good fun set from Hot Wheels and my kids enjoy it, but strangely it’s when it’s not played with that impresses me, but more on that in a bit!
An adult will be required to help open as there is a cable tie that needs cutting and I also think if you have young kids you’ll also have to help set up the track.
Once built you can send the car (one is included) up over the banking and then down through the loop the loop before reaching the end of the track. It might not keep their attention for ages but you can if you have more Hot Wheels track connect up the end to further your play if you wish.
As I mentioned, it’s good fun and our other Hot Wheels cars do work on it but I love that this kit can be stored away in the “petrol can” form when finished with. Other sets we have, once built, stay built because they are too hard or overly fiddly to take apart, and as such start to take over the lounge. This one can be put all back in the petrol can and that can be stored away.
Now in reality, 99% of the time it’ll be me who does this but at least it is an option in the ever encroaching toy creep from their rooms.
My kids love this toy. Much fun especially when added with other modules from the range.
Easy to assemble and when you take it apart its really nice to have space for everything inside the case.
Great to see it keeping my sons attention for an hour at a time without needing any addons.
But, How many times will this survive being disassembled? That’s going to be the problem with this product. There is meant to be a tab that you press down that allows the track to come apart but I’ve tried everything and it never goes down enough to allow an easy pull directly off. you end up wiggling and using force. I wish it was don’t to me not having the strength in my thumbs but I’m a rock climber, they don’t budge.
Whilst it lasts its a great toy but its just those tabs that don’t work as i’m sure they are meant to.
I bought this as a birthday present for my 5yr old grandson. He loved it as it fitted his other track perfectly.

This is a good Hot Wheels set. It’s nicely balanced as a starter set, comprising a full track set and a neat, self-contained storage system.
This is a completely self-contained kit that doesn’t need anything else to be used — which makes it perfect as a starter set — but it can be added to or integrated with existing sets, as the track is compatible with the wider Hot Wheels track system. The set includes straight and curved track pieces, a loop the loop section, a spinner end gate, and a mechanical vehicle launcher. A feature I really appreciate is that this set doesn’t require batteries. And the launcher does a pretty good job.
The storage case for the set is designed to become an active component of track builds, but separately has an appealing petrol can design. It’s neat and compact, portable, and suited to any size home. For me, the one small negative to this set is that the case has plastic hinge clips that are showing signs of stress from new.
The set comes with a single, standard Hot Wheels vehicle — for which there is a clear-coved storage slot on the outside of the jerry can case. We got the vehicle pictured: a snazzy blue, orange and silver number which has several see-through parts, including the blue bits and clear wheels.
This came in fairly minimal manufacturer packaging: a cardboard sleeve detailing the contents was wrapped round the ‘can’, and a cable tie added security to the closure.
This is quite an eye-catching set, with the bright red fuel-can-shaped case looking weighty and substantial as well as having a bit of novelty value to it.
Inside the case, the contents are perhaps just a little bit underwhelming. There aren’t a lot of pieces. The inclusion of just one Hot Wheels car feels a bit ungenerous really. There is one benefit to this though- as a travel set, for keeping a young kid entertained at somebody else’s house for a little while, it’s pretty convenient, relatively compact (ish) and quick to set up.
Firing a Hot Wheels car along a ramp always seems to be a hit-and-miss affair, somewhat literally, with cars flying off the track almost as often as they stay on them, and this one is no exception. There are two key tricks here and two places where chaos can ensue, which does add a bit more comedy value compared to the simple loop set-ups where cars always fall off at the same point! This set does bring with it the same level of giggles at the crashing and banging as other sets have, and I’m glad my kids have a chance to get that out of their system before they start learning to drive real cars
It’s a good travel set. At under thirty quid it’s reasonable value at time of writing, and my kids seem to be having a decent amount of fun with it.
This is yet another great product from hot wheels that all stores away inside its own petrol /jerry can container.
Comes with 1 cool stylish hot wheels car which compliments the track build system perfectly.
Some hot wheels cars can struggle on various track styles but this car completes the track length easily.
There are 2 configurations to build both have a loop incorporated into the system.
1 system completes a loop then runs along a length of track, round a bend then through a spinning flap.
The other system is launched along a length of track, travels up the wall then completes a loop before flying out the spinning flap end. Both systems use the inside of the petrol/jerry can to build the completed track of choice.
My little one loved it.
The launcher is adjustable with 4 clicks to adjust the launch speed of the car being used along the track system. If you find your car is flying off the track then simply use 1 less click of the launcher and try again until the car remains on the track.
These compliment other hot wheels systems as well and can be connected to other systems which can give loads of variations to play and building which encourages imagination and technical skills for your children.
As usual hot wheels use brightly coloured tracks, cars and cases and this is no different with a variation of colours which makes it aesthetically fun and pleasing to watch kids play with.
My boy will have lots of fun with this and he’ll happily spend lots of time running all his different hot wheels cars along the track and then pick is favourite winner.
Packaging for this is minimal which I like and as you’d expect from a company like Mattel they use cardboard which comes from responsibly managed sources by the FSC.
There is a QR code on the cardboard for parents to scan which takes you to the Mattel website so you can keep up to date with Mattels products and you can also send them your email to allow them to send you offers and news of new products etc.
This toy is part of the track builder unlimited series which means there are endless ways of adding more track and stunts from other track builder systems and creating all kinds of track systems to keep the little ones amused and playing for hours.
I’ve always liked hot wheels products for their quality and providing toys which develop children’s imagination through play and this is another great addition to their range.
