Needed a sturdy extension lead with the shape you see, as it needed to fit into an area on my workspace. The build quality is of high standard with built in surge protection and a solid 2 metre cable & UK plug. With 3 non solo switched sockets on the board, you only need to plug in & use the boards main press button on/off switch to operate the board.
Also on the board are 6 USB sockets to charge all manor of items, phones, tablets, headphones etc. So I must say I’m happy with my Hulker Extension Lead & would highly reccomend it.
Definitely not an example of form-over-function. Quite an ugly adapter, but provides plenty of USB charging ports for all of the kids gadgets, and with a couple of normal plug sockets too.
For the price, I’m not going to complain (too much) about the aesthetics.
I’ve enjoyed using this lately as it’s quite compact and has many USB ports to go along with the standard plug. Versatile and good for my use case next to the bed charging various devices on my nightstand/lamp plugged in.
I have no idea why other brand are not making their plugs compatible in this way – but for the time being it makes this product the best option in my eyes. In this current age of so many devices using USB either for power or to charge, having 6 USB outputs is also massively useful and means you’re never short.
This outlet has rubber feet on the underside so on a flat surface it will not easily slide around, however it does not have any mounting holes for hanging it on a wall as many outlets do. The only other improvement I can see, would be this having options which increase beyond a 3-gang outlet
I already have 2 of these outlets and as my need grows, I already know I will be coming back to this brand. As mentioned, it’s just unfortunate that I cannot get a larger option.

Charging usb ports works all at the same time, no problem.
Power sockets are universal for different type of connectors and I tested with a few and it works.
Only one usb port plastic broke after few weeks, but glued back and its grand

The plugs are not aptly distanced apart. This has meant that when the 3pin plug sockets are being used, you can up suffering a couple of the USB ports because the 3pin plug covers it.
Its a really silly design as a lot of UK pin plug are traditionally kinda square, not circular round as this designer thought!
So, if your needs are more USB than pin plugs, this product “may” be suitable? But probably get better with a different product tbh.
If your needs are more pin plugs than USB ports then this product is more suitable.
Not suitable for Tapo Smart Plugs (which you can see in the photo i took)
Current flow of electricity seems to be good even when multiple electrical things are being used at once. Doesnt seem to cause any dips in power.
It’s a great charger. It has fast charge and you can always switch it off when not in use! I’ve actually had a few friends buy them on my advice! Have recommended it in a small group of friends and at least 3 people have bought it to.
This takes UK/US and EU plugs and a whole bunch of USB leads. Much smaller than I was expecting which is great and easily slips into my laptop bag. Perfectio
Good materials used. Is compatible with multiple adapters. Sometimes the adapters block the power button but that’s a nitpick. I mainly bought it for usb hub. While it works as advertised, my phone keeps complaining it’s slow charging. So i just use it for my headphones etc.
Great price for this product as its just what I need especially for travel and very sturdy design too. Happy to recommend AAA***
It works But there is in flaw, There is a sound coming out of it while you are using it.
Everytime we use it to charge a phone or anything, there is a sound similar to “white noise” coming out.
I hope it is not dangerous!

My third Hulker Extension. This time a square one instead of the usual long one and it hasn’t disappointed.
Great Produce, it did exactly what I needed it to do. In particular it’s compact size makes it very neat and tidy when using around the house.
Great for when you need extra usb charging points as everything seems to be charged this way nowadays.
Took it to Egypt with us one adaptor plug and had enough sockets for everthing

Absolutely fine, only problem is it is very light so moves easily. Great solution if you need to charge numerous items at same time, instead of multiple plugs.

Bought this for when travelling, always surprised by how many places don’t have more than a few plugs. When you’ve got multiple phones and other devices to charge this comes in handy. Used it all over the UK, very handy, easy to use, fairly durable so far.
Bought for recent visit to Spain in case hotel room didn’t have enough plugs. Turns out there were plenty of plugs /USBs in our room but used extension lead anyway to keep all my leads together. Did its job but remember that the more appliances being used then the lower the charging rate. OK if you plug in at night but no good if you want a quick charge. Seems sturdy and we will take on future trips.
I have one of these plugged into my home office, one my bedroom, one packed with my work lap top, and another stored with my ‘staying away from home’ kit. Have had others, but none match the value for money, ease of use, or longevity. A brilliant piece of straight-forward kit – don’t look for others – this is the one you need.
Handy air for the home. I considered a USB socket on the wall but this is more adaptable in that it offers a lot of outlets. With a long lead it can be plugged in at a low level and be kept on a worktop or desk. It proved so handy and versatile i bough a second one.
I first bought this very same power strip in the USA (and it has a different plug for North America) and found it super handy and compact enough to throw in my carry on bag.
I’ve since bought two more in the UK (that have the UK plug) and they all work equally well, and you can obviously carry any of them anywhere and use it as long as the mains plug part fits into the socket type used in the country you are in. So if you’re buying this UK version, you just need to pop on a plug convertor and you’re set to use it when you travel.
And not only are they super handy at home or when travelling…when I was looking to buy a plain USB charger that could charge at least 3 or 4 gadgets at a time….I discovered that this power strip, with SIX (6) USB slots, was actually cheaper by several pounds than every plain old USB charger that I found on Amazon. So I decided to get another one of these instead and save some money.
Although it’s much larger than the typical USB charger unit (that is dedicated to that function only), I actually prefer to take this with me when I travel because I will inevitably need to account for the different plugs of my gadgets, so it’s much easier for me to remember to pack this ONE power strip that comes with USB charging instead of having to hunt around for a bunch of USB chargers AND a bunch of plug converters. I only need to pack this one thing AND the correct plug convertor of the country I’m travelling to (assuming it needs a different one)..and I’m all set.
The size is just perfect for me.

In the past, when I’ve stayed with my mother, we had to take it in turns to charge our mobile phones and laptops. The problem is now solved and we are both happy. This power strip houses three sockets which accommodate up to three UK 3-pin plugs, and six USB ports. The 3-pin sockets are also designed to take European 2-pin plugs and (I think) American plugs, making it a universal power strip which can be taken anywhere in the world – where there is power!
The 3-pin plug, which connects the strip to the mains, is a shuttered plug – the type which only connects with electricity when the two shorter pins (as well as the long one) are fully in the socket, making it child safe. As an extra safety precaution the strip itself is switched, making it even safer as the plugs can be put into it while it is switched off eliminating any risk of shock. The power strip has a total maximum capacity of 10A/2500W, and does not overheat – even when when three gadgets are are plugged in, and in use simultaneously, so long as they total less than 2500W.
Unlike some power strips, this one does not have a specific fast charge USB port, but all six ports are smart ports which automatically detect each device – be it a phone, a tablet, cabinet lights, or a torch etc, and they maximise the fastest possible charge for each device. I don’t know how this works, but I have a couple of smart plugs that say they do the same. This power strip has worked well so far, and we love it. Although I have several old type extension leads (without USB ports) in my home, and a power strip that has four 3-pin plug sockets and four USB ports (one of which is fast charge), I might have to get one of these power strips for myself.
