Note this was hard to put up. I eventually had to pay a professional to come do it and even he has a bit of trouble.
Now it’s up it’s excellent but the additional 85 to have it installed made it rather expensive
Brought this whilst decorating and didn’t put bracket on wall until recently. Didn’t quite fit on the back of our flatscreen but with a few alterations it’s all done. Very sturdy and I like the fact that you can tilt, pull out and swivel the tv. Would recommend this
2nd one of these I’ve purchased as it’s a great product. It comes supplied with a bag of fixings which covers most applications including some to attach to a brick or solid wall.
It’s a well made and sturdy tv mount and for the money you can’t go wrong.
Reassuringly heavy, very well made and went up on the wall a treat with coach bolts. Definitely recommend this product if you want it to stay on the wall for decades.
Was a bit sceptical when I ordered this but it is strong enough, was relatively easy to install and has all the adjustments needed. The most difficult thing was working out how to position the extenders for my 50 inch TV’s VESA mount and then getting the position on the wall just right before drilling. Measure twice and drill once!
I’ve edited my review to reflect the stunning customer service this company has.
I did originally have an issue with this TV stand, and the telephone number for them being wrong on the advert, but They contacted me to adress the problem and absolutely bent over backwards to make it right.
If only all companies were like this.
Oh and the TV stand is awesome.
We have a 50 inch TV on this amazing bracket. Follow the step by step instructions, there is a level Inc, and enough bolts for different types of wall fixing.
We are retired, and we got this up in no time.
Chuffed to bits with it. So smooth to tilt or swing the tv to other positions. It’s quality!
We looked in a well known TV store and the equivalent to this one was almost 100.
Recommend highly. Its a great piece of kit.
Really pleased with the quality of this, the bracket is very sturdy, comes with plenty of fixings, tools, a HDMI lead and clear instructions – I had it done and dusted within an hour. The photo is attempting to show our TV pulled out from the wall to the fullest extent and turned to give an idea of the range available. The bracket also allows rotational adjustment to ensure the screen is level, and tilting.
I’m really impressed with this! All arms seemed much the same to me, this wasn’t the cheapest but I had a ‘good feel’ for it.. I was not disappointed. Very sturdy and well designed. Fitted a 49″ TV to it and its installed positioning adjusts with ease when required. Came with a quality HDMI lead which was an unexpected bonus. Includes a host of bolt sizes for any TV’s Vesa mounts. Design really meant you could easy fit any Vesa sizing within its range (mine was a 30 x 30cms). Highly recommend.
Excellent quality wall bracket very flexible amd extremely versatile! Only downside was the quality of the plastic that covers parts of the bracket these are pretty loose in areas and seem poorly fitted. Although this doesn’t effect the stability and usage of the bracket.
I was struggling to find a bracket that would fit my tv which has a vesa fitting of 100 by 200 after two failed purchases I found this one! Perfect fit with multiple variations. Super sturdy. With lots of fittings that you probably won’t need but nice to have all the screws necessary just in case. It tilts and swings, lies flat against the wall if you wish. I found a stud quite by chance ! It’s not going to move. There is no play on the bracket even at full extension. It was on offer when I purchase at 25, I would have happily paid the full price. A very high quality bracket with hdmi cable and cable tidy. Don’t bother buying anything else. It arrived within 2 days highly recommended.
Have to say this is a difficult one to review. On one hand, I think it’s a very good bracket [so far] and seems quite strong plus plenty of motion in my kitchen [it gets tuned to my table then turned to my hob when I’m cooking] but on the other hand, I think Invision could make things a whole lot easier. I’m female and a senior citizen. I’ve built many flat packs over the years from wardrobes to bikes – I quite enjoy putting these things together. So I always begin by laying everything out on a table/florr everything in the box then identifying and ticking off the contents [present and correct!]. First thing I’d run Invision down for is the terrible Instruction booklet. I don’t need glasses but I’d advise everybody to buy a magnifying glass before they start. The drawings and diagrams are badly drawn and not clear and the “Chick List” [screws etc] really does need a magnifying glass. I went onto Invision website to see if I could zoom in and print off a better copy. Such a shame that quite a good bracket is let down by Invision not supplying half decent instructions. There’s a bright yellow bit on the instructions that’s suppose to be the warning things not to do/or make sure you do – good luck reading that!
My first mistake was assuming that all the screws included were required as most things that come with a “built it yourself” are required so I was cursing trying to identify which screws were which [a.b.c.d.e. etc]. It was only later on I realised that most of the screws would not be required – just the screws that my particular T.V. required [Sumsung 37″ VESA 200 x 200]. I got the backing plate off and successfully found the right/only screws that fitted my plate onto the back of the TV. I then measured where I wanted this bracket on my kitchen wall – so far so good! My hubby had to get involved thereafter to help lifting the TV but we were unsure what way the hole on the end of bracket should go [top or bottom] . You’ll only know what I’m talking about when you come to it but we went onto You Tube – nothing there. We got the answer on the German [!] part of the instructions. The German part of the instructions had a picture of this littie hole that attaches onto the back plate [the English instructions don’t!]. There’s the hole and there’s a sort of curved line above the hole. We wondered, does the curved line bit go on the botton of the plate [attached to back of TV] or the top? Well, the answer was in the picture in the German diagram for the bit! Put the same diagram on the English Invision. After that we drilled, screwed and mounted but Invision could make things a lot easier. Surely they could improve their instruction – bigger font and more clear. The end result is so far, it’s a sturdy bracke
This product has all the fittings needed to install it securely.
The only problem I had was to shorten 2 of the M4 x25mm VESA (100mm) screws to suit the lower 2 of the 43″ Toshiba threaded holes. I had to shorten them to 10mm as the 25mm ones hit the bottom of the hole!
Be prepared to drill 80mm Deep into Brick/Breeze Block although 76mm is deep enough to stop the sturdy mounting screws bottoming.
I did send an e-mail asking for a larger PDF than the one on the Amazon site but there is a good booklet inside the kit, so didn’t really need it but the information in it showing all the items and instructions gave me confidence to place an order.
Very Satisfied with this sturdy product and feel sure the TV is securely Mounted with excellent adjustment for movement.
Fitted in Daughters bedroom much to her delight, TV does now not clutter up her Bedroom furniture & can be folded virtually flat to the wall (within about 55mm).
Definitely recommend it. 5 Stars
This is my opinion of the product as an engineer.
The bracket is made very well, good strong mechanism with a good finish and would highly recommend.
However…. please be aware that there is an oddity with the fixings, you are supplied with a variety of bolts to attach the bracket to the rear of the TV, these include M8 x 25mm, 35mm and 45mm. you also get spacers which are 10mm which is pointless as with the spacer in place you simply change the bolt length to the previous length bolt.
My new Samsung Q55LED requires a bolt length of 39-41mm so NONE of the bolts were suitable, 35mm would not reach the studs in the TV and the 45mm would not tighten against the bracket.
My answer was to go to my workshop and cut the 10mm spacer in half giving me the required 5mm spacer needed to convert the 45mm to 40mm. with a 5mm spacer you get far more options for bolt length. Even my 15yr old daughter noticed that the spacers were pointless and she doesn’t have a degree in design. This needs to be addressed as not everybody would be able to get around this so readily.
Also i’d suggest that the fitting bracket diagram includes the distance from the top of the TV mounting plate to the top of WALL mounting plate, this would aid the measurements required to fit evenly into a TV niche as was mine.
Other than these two points i’d say fantastic product with good adjustment for level/upright settings.
This is very robust and works well. As you’d expect with any one-product-fits-all-tvs item, the assembly was a bit confusing but I got everything the right way round after a couple of tries. Invision helpfully sent an email with instructions and offering support, so I guess I’m not the only one to do some head-scratching.
I used it to fix a 32″ Sony Bravia 32WD756BU to the wall. For a small TV it has unusually widely spaced VESA points at 30cm x 40cm – hence this heavyweight bracket.
My two small problems might not be relevant for larger TVs. First, when the bracket is screwed on, it obscures a lot of the back of the TV. This was something I hadn’t considered. I was only just able to connect and route the required cables. (Most TVs today have the connectors at the side so this wouldn’t be a problem.) For the record, on the Sony Bravia 32WD756BU:
* On the side of the TV, the HDMI2 and the two USB ports are fully accessible
* On the back of the TV, the aerial, network cable and power connection are only just accessible (but OK)
* On the back of the TV, the HDMI1/ARC, SCART socket and Digital Audio Out are *not* accessible
Second, with my relatively small TV and low-down VESA holes, the bracket is so large that it is visible extending below the bottom of the TV. No problem for me as I can trim and smooth that metal. The product photos contain all dimensions so it would have been possible to check this before ordering.
Ordering one of these brackets is trickier than it looks! If I’d known then when I knew now, I’d buy this again.
I have mixed feelings with this mount, the quality is great, and if you measure weight with quality (sometimes weight can be a measure of quality), you know you have serious quality, I love the optional extensions you can add to it, allowing you to leave it in the box when you don’t need that sized fixing, so you don’t need to mess around with bits you don’t need to use, but also allowing you the extra features should you buy a bigger TV in the future, both without the need to buy a new bracket, and more so, you don’t (one hopes) need to interfere with your dcor, making good any differences where the bracket fixings show your previous decorating, there’s nothing worse than having the old showing out due to the new bracket not covering it, you will still need to be aware of the Vesa sizes offered by it, should youwhen you, get a new TV.
The cable management is why I deducted 1 star, this should Not detract from the vast majority of peoples requirements, but my set up looks like Jodrell Bank, with a fistful of cables, so it would be a challenge to any cable management, as I use every port on my TV virtually, now although it may be possible if you have very thin cables, but if you have larger better quality cables, while on there own (maybe a couple of thinner ones as well) they would fit the management feature(s), if you have numerous ‘fat’ cables, then you won’t get all of them to fit, so the bottom line is I love the feature, it’s greatly needed, but it just doesn’t cover the full range of my cables, so I can’t retire the zip ties altogether yet, but nonetheless it’s a great feature.
Invision Ultra Slim Tilt Swivel TV Wall Mount Bracket – For Most 26 – 60 Inch LED LCD Plasma & Curved TV Screens – Max VESA 400mm x 400mm – Now Includes 1.8m HDMI Cable (A2)
Very solid wall-mounting fixture. I purchased this to mount a TV in our kitchen, after having read all of the positive reviews. I hadn’t yet purchased the TV. It was only after the mounting fixture had been screwed to the wall that I realized that most TV’s up to 24″ in size have a VESA 75mm x 75mm mounting hole arrangement. Unfortunately, 75 x 75 is probably the only VESA size which this particular wall mount does NOT suppport. In the end, I went for a 28″ TV which had a 100mm x 100mm mounting hole arrangement, which this wall mount DOES support.
It was a bit confusing trying to work out which combination of bolts and spacers were required for my particular TV, because the wall mount is supplied as standard with a kit of parts to cover all kinds of VESA dimensions, and it’s important that you don’t try to screw in a bolt which is too long otherwise it could damage the electronics inside your TV. You therefore have to use different combinations of spacers, depending on the specific VESA mounting arrangement. I found that even respecting the recommended spacers for my VESA 100 x 100 mounting requirements, the spacers weren’t quite thick enough, and I had to add a couple more very thin metal spacers of my own, in order to get the right stand-off height.
As I mentioned earlier, my TV had a 100mm x 100mm VESA mounting arrangement. As this particular wall mount allows for much wider hole arrangements (eg. 200 x 200 etc.), even without fitting the “extension arms”, it meant that the plate itself covered up some of the connectors on the back of my LG 28″ TV. For example, the spacers allowed me to plug in the right-angle power connector even though it was covered by the wall mounting plate. But I couldn’t access at all either the F-type satellite socket or the RJ45 socket, and I ended up having to use a hacksaw to cut away a couple of sections of the mounting plate, so that I could access those particular connectors.
On the other hand, I did find a use for all the extra mounting holes for those larger VESA mounting arrangements: I needed to find a place for a satellite receiver box, and originally was thinking I’d have to fit a shelf to the wall underneath the TV. In the end, I was able to cobble together, with the aid of various metal brackets and a metal drill bit, a way to mount my satellite receiver box to the TV mount, nicely hidden away behind the TV.
I have attached some photos so you can see where I had to cut away some of the mounting plate, and how I was able to install my satellite receiver box to the wall mount behind my TV. Hopefully this will be of use to some people out there!
By the way, I did send a couple of questions to Invision Technology, and they came back very quickly with an answer. So top marks to them for their customer service.
So overall, a good quality wall mount and a very reasonable price. I’d just say that if you know in advance that you’re going to use it with a TV no larger than 24″ in size, you would probably be better off buying a wall mount which only supports the smaller 75mm x 75mm VESA mounting arrangement. Even if your TV has a 100 x 100 hole arrangement, unless you want to mount anything else onto all the extra holes in the wall mount, you’d be better off going for something which ONLY supports 100 x 100, to avoid having to cut away sections of the mounting plate so you can actually access all the various connector interfaces.
This must be one of the best TV mount brackets on the market!
Purchased one of these to mount a 40″ LED Samsung in my eldest daughter’s bedroom. Very impressed with the design and high quality finish on this mount. Have since ordered another one, so I can wall mount our corner positioned 48″ curved Samsung and negate the need for the current large glass 3 tier tv stand unitl.
Previously looked at the expensive and inferior mounts the leading electrical retailers stock and was far from impressed. Fortunately when I searched on Amazon for one, this one was featured at the top of the search results
Top tip: Browse some of the excellent reviews on here before proceeding with the installation. IIRC when the bracket is fully collapsed/closed, the centreline of the mount is offset by around 125mm vs centerline of the TV. Like many reviewers have recommended, I also used a cardboard template of the actual TV size on the mount to determine the optimum position for installation.
Installing the actual mount on the wall is relatively easy for a competent diy’er. After drilling the 1st hole, reposition the mount to ensure the markers for the other 3 holes are still in alignment and repeat this check after drilling each subsequent hole. If installing on a solid wall [brick/concrete blocks] you need to drill 4 x 80mm deep holes using a 10mm drill bit. I masked the mount area using Frog tape and extended it out @ a 90 degree angle to contain the drill dust. When I get round to installing the 2nd bracket, I’m probably going to use a shoe box as a shield, as I reckon that will be more effective in containing the dust. Alternatively you could always get someone to hold a hoover nozzle/brush attachment close to the drill area.
Good price but I find them a bit awkward to fit, having fitted two of these so far.
The screw holes are not slotted, so your drilling has to be spot on. Which is a bit easier said than done when drilling a 10mm hole in to concrete.
My advice is not to drill all four holes at once, but to do them one at a time, fitting the screws and lining up again after each one. Drill through the bracket with a smaller bit before removing the bracket and enlarging with the 10mm bit required.
Measuring up the position of the bracket is a bit awkward also as the bracket sits to the left of centre when it is fully pushed back. If you have a large bit of cardboard (maybe the box the TV came in, which you have kept up in the loft all these years) make a template of the TV and attach that to the bracket. Move it around the wall and when your wife is happy, mark the position of the bracket. Then ask her to hold it so you can check and have an argument about why you don’t want to be sitting in your lounge with your head tilted back as far as it will go in order to see the TV, even if that does mean it has to be slightly lower on the wall than the family photo it is replacing.
I also have a concern that maybe the fixing holes are a little close to each other, meaning that all of that levered load of the TV is concentrated on one small area of the wall. Obviously the further you extend the TV from the wall, the greater the load on the fixings.
Having said that, it hasn’t fallen off or pulled a chunk out of the
One of my best buys on Amazon. I have a 55″ Samsung Smart TV and wanted to mount it on a breeze block wall. My requirements were that the bracket would allow the TV to be pulled out (it definitely helps when feeding through cables) and at the same time one which could twist in both directions.
I was quite skeptical due to the low price and the fact that there’s only one arm attached to the wall. Other brackets I’ve seen which do the same job were between 100 – 180 and had two arms on the wall. The number of reviews convinced me to give it a shot (you don’t get two chances when you’re drilling into your wall!).
I couldn’t be more pleased. The final product is outstanding, my neighbor has even purchased one. At first you might think that this isn’t going to take the weight of the TV – but it will (there’s a maximum weight mentioned on the instructions paper, but my TV weighed in at half the maximum allowed weight).
Before you purchase, check your TV’s specified VESA. This is the gap between the TV bracket holes at the back your TV. Measure them in mm horizontally (top left to top right) and vertically (top right to bottom right). The maximum this bracket can be used for is VESA 400.
All the required screws and nuts are provided, although, you’ll need to check which ones work for your TV. You’ll need some good spanners/pliers when you come to the small nuts.
A few things to note:
1. The face of the bracket (where the TV hangs) will be in the middle of the wall (or wherever you want the middle of the TV), but the plate which you screw into the wall will be to the left or right of the TV (depending on how you install the bracket).
2. Make sure you take the required measurements before you drill.
3. You’ll need two people to do this if you’re going to do it properly.
4. Don’t drill all 4 holes at the same time (yes there’s only 4 holes required despite the fact that there are more holes on the plate).
5. You need to use a spirit level especially after you’re first hole to measure up your second.
6. You can slightly adjust the TV (if one side is lower), but only slightly using the nuts which hold the TV to the plate.
7. The cable hiding featured plastic will be of little use as you can only fit on thin cable on the top and bottom. You won’t get a strong HDMI cable through it.
8. Once again, make sure you’ve got your measurements right, check it multiple times before you drill. If going into a masonry wall, you’ll need a size 10 drill bit and you’ll go in 18cm into the wall (the measurements are mentioned on the instructions paper which doesn’t help too much to be honest).
9. If you’re not sure what you’re doing, I’d call in a professional.
Overall, perfect – I’m very satisfied with the product it’s very slim and makes the TV look beautiful when mounted.
I bought this to fix my Samsung Series 6, 40″ TV to a masonry wall.
I took my time to fit it, thinking and measuring very carefully along the way but it was actually very easy to fit, requiring a drill, a socket set (or spanner), a screwdriver and a spirit level. Just remember that the position that the bracket fits onto the wall is offset from where the centre of the TV will be, due to the design. However, this is obvious when you “offer up” the bracket to the wall in its fully compressed state.
All fittings that might possibly be required appear to be supplied. The bolts and plugs that fit into the wall are of high quality. They made me very confident that the bracket will easily hold the weight of a TV much larger than my 40″ set.
I was content (and surprised!) that I had fitted the bracket onto the wall perfectly level. But once I hung the TV on the bracket, the TV looked very slightly out of level, which initially disappointed and irritated me. However, I quickly discovered that it is very easy to make small “rotation” adjustments, by loosening a couple of screws on the TV side of the bracket and rotating the TV either clockwise or anti-clockwise, so my TV is now perfectly level. That was a “phew!” moment. It’s a clever design.
Once on the wall, the TV can either sit very close against the wall or be pulled out and angled left or right using the cantilever arm. If offers a considerable amount of adjustment for viewing positions. My TV is possibly a little small for my room so the bracket allows me to bring the TV closer to me temporarily then pushed back when not in use.
Plastic clip-on covers are provided for each metal “arm” of the bracket, which allow for cable management.
This is a high quality, well thought out product.
One day I will have to hang another TV in another room and I won’t consider buying any bracket other than this one. I’m tempted to buy another one now in case these disappear from the market.
We wanted a 55″ TV in our lounge, and the only way we could fit it in was by mounting it on a wall. As we had no space in a suitable viewing area we needed to be able to swing the screen out away from the wall. When I unpacked the TV I was a bit uncertain if any bracket could hold it up, but it was advertised as suited for a 55″ set so took the plunge.
I have to say that unless you are extremely competent at DIY you might want to think twice about doing this job yourself. After all, you are probably trusting over a grand’s worth of kit to this bracket. Fortunately my son-in-law is a builder so I asked him to do the job. I suspect that for smaller TV sets under 32 inches this bracket would be a bit of overkill. It is extremely heavy and solid and looks designed for large sets. Also remember that if mounting a large, heavy TV you will need three people at the point when you attach the TV to the wall bracket; two to offer up the set and one to bolt it to the plate.
Once the job’s done it all feels very solid. The arm has a good amount of resistance which means the TV won’t be wobbling from side to side. The amount you can tilt the set left or right is determined by how far from the wall you pull it. We can get ours to about 60 degrees. As promised by the manufacturer, the whole thing folds away flat to the wall when not in use which is ideal for us.
I would say that for the 30 we paid this represents exceptional value for money. If you have a large screen TV I would thoroughly recommend this bracket.
I have a new LG 42LM660T, Just beware that although it fits, the power lead gets in the way of putting on one of the panels. We basically gave up and thought about sending it back! But then decided to just void the warranty and use an angle grinder to take away part of the metal to leave space for the power lead. It worked but we shouldn’t of had to do this, left quite a sharp edge which could be dangerous near the power lead, but we used blue tac and duct taped the sharp edge so if the cable comes into contact it wouldn’t cause damage, you never see it so who cares?
Just say this is very difficult to get the TV onto the wall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience as just received TV and ended up with finger marks and smudges all over it, but can’t be helped. Also take into consideration which side you want it to swivel out, mind will be flat to the wall most of the time but I have realized after all the effort! that it comes out to wrong side, I wanted it to come out right and we have put it on left. Basically spend your time planning out how you want it to work, don’t try and fly through it or it will be wrong.
In saying that, despite the effort it looks brilliant. It’s hard to believe how it holds such a large TV from the images on here, but it does and could easily hold a lot more. Great engineering! The reason I chose this particular bracket is because it claims to sit really close to the wall, and that it does! In fact, I thought Id have it sitting closest it goes to the wall, but I find myself bringing it out slightly so having the choice is brilliant!
All in all great product, would of gave 5 stars but the problems with the panel intersecting power cord just annoyed me a little as the design isn’t THAT ‘universal’ especially for a common make such as LG.
I was nervous about buying a wall bracket for our 47″ LG as reviews of several types seemed to report sag and tilt problems with the larger models. The reviews for this seemed best so we ordered it. Delivery was fast – by DHL. My husband and I fitted it in about an hour including clearing the space for drilling and doing the measurements. Hubby’s only complaints – no advice about drill bit size and no guidance for measurements when positioning the holes, but it wasn’t difficult once the plate was attached to the TV. The wall fixing is 5″ to the right of centre (looking at the wall) and the top wall bolt is approx 7.25″ from the top of the screen. 3 bolts fit vertically down the bracket (use a plumb-line to make it precise). He used a smallish masonry drill first then a 10mm drill bit but it wasn’t quite big enough for the huge wall-plugs so he used the next size up to just make a wider opening. We used the supplied bolts and it seems as solid as a rock.
The bracket comes with a standard TV plate and an extension kit for larger TVs. We needed that as the VESA fittings on our LG are the maximum 400 x 400. There are various size screws included in the kit to suit different TVs.
Our TV weighed 38lbs (approx 17.25kg) including the plate attachment (forgot to weigh it first!) which is well within the maximum of 80lbs.
Once the plate is attached to the TV (must make sure it’s the right way up with the slot for the lug at the top)and the bracket fitted to the wall, the plate simply hooks over the lug on the bracket and holds with 2 nuts.
When the TV is pushed close to the wall (our TV came with its own spacers but 2 types are included in the kit as well) the screen is just under 4″ from the wall. At full extension it’s about 21″ away which gives massive swivel allowance, taking our 47″ to about 60 degrees from centre, allowing it to be viewed from anywhere in the room. We’re not using the tilt but it has about 25 – 30 degrees of forward tilt if you’re fixing it higher than eye level. A big TV needs two hands to adjust the position but it moves easily while not being loose and floppy.
Superb piece of kit!
After looking at many, many brackets I purchased this to hang my Panasonic – Viera (TX-P42UT30B) 42″ Plasma TV, mainly because of its slim design; allowing the TV to go almost all the way back to the wall leaving only a small gap.
It’s strong, with no signs of droop even when fully extended, it easily takes the weight of my TV. It has two cable management ties at the bottom which are a great help keeping those cables tidy. It comes with various size screws to attach it to your TV. I recommend that you check your TV manual to find out which length screws to use as there is a minimum and maximum length you’re allowed to use (spacers are also provided to help make adjustments to the length).
It comes with 3 fixing bolts to mount it to the wall; but does have an additional four holes so extra screws can be added. I used the extra holes but it would have been fine if I hadn’t.
The instructions could be a little better, but as long as you have basic DIY skills you’ll be fine.
There is one thing to note when measuring where to mount the bracket to the wall – when the bracket is fully extended obviously the wall plate (the plate you bolt to the wall) is centre to the TV, but because the second section of the arm is shorter than the first section of the arm it doesn’t fold away centrally, but instead about 20 centimetres to the left or right, depending on how you fold the bracket in – this obviously messed up my measurements and the TV wasn’t where I was expecting it to be when folded in.
Overall I’m very happy, I’m giving it five stars, its a quality bracket which does the job at a great price. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one of these brackets if I was mounting another TV.
I’ve been looking to wall mount my TV for a while now, since it sat too low on the TV stand. There are simply loads and loads of different TV brackets available. I did not want one which was slim line (against the wall) as I am aware that the cables connected to the back of the TV require a certain amount of room. Also I wanted to avoid the situation where the TV wall bracket would be visible from behind the TV and so after having seen the reviews of this wall mount I decided to invest. I have a 37in LED tv which weighs 15Kg, which this bracket can comfortably support.
Firstly the delivery process was top notch, the order turned up a few days after being placed.
All the tools, bolts and rawl plugs are included and the instructions are fairly straight forward. There are an array of machine screws (3 sets of different sizes) provided to ensure that the back plate can be attached to the rear of the television.
You’ll need to do some simple calculations to determine where to drill the three holes needed to hold the wall bracket (which holds the cantilever arm), this is to ensure that you don’t end up with the television too high and also too far to the left. I calculated the top hole for the wall bracket to be 6 cm below from the top edge of the TV and 22 cms to the right of the centre of the back plate.
You’ll need a drill with a size 10 drill bit and a spirit level to ensure you get all the holes right.
Once the cantilever arm is in place I’d recommend asking a friend to help lift the TV to attach to position the back plate onto the fastening clamp and then holding it, while it is being screwed in.
This bracket is very strong and sturdy and I can happily recommend it, it is totally hidden from sight of my tv. However before purchasing check the weight of the TV to ensure the clamp is suitable to support the weight.
