Have used this daily at work now for a few years and been really impressed with it. Mine is stainless, really nice looking and the finish has held up beautifully with use. Sounds strange but it has really helped with increasing my water consumption as it’s enjoyable to use. No issues with leakage, easy to clean and great looking. Probably the dearest water container I’ve had but impressed with its build quality and longevity.
Essentially the perfect water bottle. Sturdy, steel container, easy to open, lock, and drink from.
Well worth the money. Keeps me hydrated through the day and the clip stops any unwanted spillage
Keeps my water lovely and cool
Love that this has a lockable lid, it really is leakproof. I throw it in my work bag and not had a spillage yet!
I got this on offer 12 and I think it’s well worth the price for the size of it.
Also since it’s stainless steel it keeps drinks cool for hours.
I bought this bottle a few weeks ago. The one that arrived was leaking so I thought something must be wrong, I saw that the silicone gasket was missing. Bought the second bottle and everything works fine, tested it and is not leaking. So, if your bottle is leaking send it back because it may be faulty or check for the gasket.
Its a good quality product. However I wish they could have included a sleeve to hold the bottle comfortably when the contents inside are cold or hot as the walls inside are not insulated
Wanted a water bottle that poured rather than having to squeeze or suck the water out. This is great. It pours out at the perfect flow rate to take a sip or a gulp as you choose. It does keep cold drinks cold all day, long enough for my needs at least. I haven’t tried with warm drinks. It’s a good size too.
So, I’ve kind of got a water bottle problem. I have like 8 or 9 now but this is by far my favourite at the moment. It looks good and holds a lot of water.
I’ve bought a few different types of bottles in the past and here’s my pros and cons of this:
Pros:
– high volume. Other bottles I’ve found were smaller because they tried to appeal to the latest trend (the tapered at the top metal bottle design)
– that little hole for air flow! A little detail but makes it so that you’re actually drinking water and not gulping water
– clasp on the lid – super helpful when carrying in a packed rucksack. Didn’t have to worry about something accidentally clicking the open button and spilling the water everywhere
Cons:
– gets a bit cold as it’s metal but at least it’s not plastic tbh
– the hinge is a little strong but I think that’ll loosen over time
Just pop the removable mouthpiece seal out of the lid and put it back in.
When I received it and tested this bottle out over the sink it DID leak, but I removed the silicon seal that’s in the lid (that stops water leaking from the mouthpiece when the lid’s closed) and popped it back in and it’s now 100% leak-proof! The seal is designed to be removed and cleaned which is great!
I think that when they’re brand new the seal is a bit flat, but removing it and putting it back lets it form back into the dome shape it was manufactured into, so it creates a perfect seal against the mouthpiece.
It has a nice brushed steel finish on the exterior.
Blows other bottles out of the water because it has a lid that you can use with one hand (no unscrewing!), it’s 100% leak-proof, lockable, and has a massive capacity, all while being easy to clean and maintain and easy to handle. No risk of spillage around you laptop either.
My son loves it. He tried many bottles and I honestly mean it , many bottles.
Awesome drink bottle when it turns up – stays cool as you could hope for and packs a tonne of water. Unfortunately the spring mech to open the lid is so strong that it pretty quickly breaks the little hook you are meant to pick it up with. No deal breaker but definitely a design flaw. Pretty decent otherwise.
Love these bottles, I had the plastic version and decided to try these. Brillia
I’m happy with this bottle. It is huge, at 1200ml. It is about the length of my forearm. The size is grrat for when my wife and I go on long walks, we can share the one bottle. Or when i am at work it is more than enough for a days fluids.
It is indeed leakproof, so far. I have been lugging it around in a backpack on a few walks now and im happy with its performance. I’m pretty confident that the opening mechanism will last. The lock and lid flipper has strong springs behind and they are robust. The plastic lid has been manufactured using thick good quality materials.
I really like how the circumference around the lid has a rubberised and textured grip. This will aid removing it during washing up.
In use it works well. I find it flows rather than glugs out.
There’s a well made plastic loop to attach a carabiner to if required.
Ive marked it down one star due to the paintwork. It arrived with some kind of green mark on which I struggled to remove. It is a bit like a grass stain. Also, it scratches and the paint marks fairly easily. Its a shame as the grey gunmetal I recieved is a cool colour. However, I have quite a few aluminium bottles and that is a problem zcross numerous brands. An active lifestyle will cause dents and scratches. I haven’t dented this one yet though.
I will update this review if or when there are issues with this. So far I am happy with it. It looks smart, functions well and is leak proof.
Using a 500ml bottle normally I found this bottle very big. Then when you fill it with water it’s heavy! It functions well though, I’ve found no leaks and it is comfortable to drink from. If a child is using it be sure they use it straight ie. the air flow hole is above the spout and if it’s not straight it pours water out. The cap is secured with a clip which is good for transporting the bottle, be mindful when pressing the release button as the lid has a quite strong spring which makes it shoot open and it hits your fingers. I think again if a child was using it they might get a fright. I took this bottle on a hike and I didn’t drink enough to justify carrying it. I’ve recently done couch to 5K and again I never at any point drank more than 500ml on a run. This lends me to think that this bottle is more suited to people who are out for a good six or seven hours. I’ve climbed Ben Nevis and I would definitely take it on that trip but for running and local hikes I think it’s maybe overkill.
OK, so let me just start by saying that it’s been super-hot this week and that I have really found this water bottle very useful just because of its sheer size. This is definitely a big water bottle with a liquid capacity of 1.2ltr, but it has a good purpose in my bottle collection.
Let me start with the packaging, it was well packaged and it looks really premium right off the bat. There were no dents or dings which is always a good start. The bottle is well designed and easily fit in my hands. Once in hand it’s reasonably light weight considering its size. The outer coat looks great to be honest but I have had a few of these types of bottles so only time will tell if the paint stays on and doesn’t start to chip or flake over time.
I was really impressed with the bottles lid and I think this is where this bottle shines. It has a nice soft rubber grip around the top which really helps when opening it to fill or refill it with water and ice. There is also a safely clip that locks the lid closed and that really helps keep the bottle leak proof and it’s definitely true to its claim.
My only concern with the lid design is that if the bottle slips out my hands on a hard surface that the plastic lid will crack or break which in turn with completely make this bottle unusable as the lid looks to be the key to keeping it 100% leak proof. Hopefully this never happens as I really like this bottle.
Overall this is a good solid big water bottle and if you’re looking for a bottle that’s 100% leak proof, this is a great option to consider.
This water bottle 1L is good quality and I really do like the fact that it is not completely plastic , so this way it is much cleaner and you can use it for a long time .
The cup is perfect to use while your running or cycling because you can open it with one hand just press the button and it will open automatically.
100% leak proof stainless steel water bottle, hygienic spout cover flips open with one finger and locks closed for safety ,vented smooth liquid flow for spill-free hydrationa great outdoors and cycling water bottle, it fits most bike bottle holders and adult backpacks.
The handy carry ring hooks onto a finger, coat hook or carabinerstainless steel is food safe, odour resistant, keeps contents fresh & flavourful, and is easy to clean. Not suitable for very hot drinks
When i reviewed it price was 17.99 and that is quite expensive , except the price I like everything else about it.
For the most part this is leakproof…I say most part because as I learned when the lid isn’t screwed on properly it is not remotely waterproof. Now you may assume this is my fault and I should have noticed but having looked at the lid while it was leaking, I couldn’t tell it wasn’t on properly but it was certainly as tight as it could be. it wasn’t until I unscrewed the lid and then re-fitted it more carefully that it didn’t leak. I suspect most people won’t put their lids on with surgical precision every time so may suffer from the leakage as I did. Having said that when you do carefully screw it on it does what it says on the tin.
The bottle has a nice colour and sheen to it. I definitely think it looks high quality and my water did appear to stay cooler for longer in it. This wasn’t ever in the sun though so I’m not sure if this would have heated up at all given that it’s entirely metal (with the exception of the lid).
I would have liked to see this come with a carabiner to attach to the loop at the back so you I have the option to attach it to my bag. The loop on the back does allow you to do this but you either have to buy one specially or already own one…. I’m the latter but it’s the principle. The loop itself is poorly designed as the angle of it means that it goes into the lid when up and slows the lid from opening. I easily resolved this by always putting the loop down but the lid is a little more sluggish than other flip top bottles I’ve had.
