This is an extremely well made jigsaw for its price – much better than some branded ones ive had. It’s powerful and cuts effortlessly. Very easy to use too.
Good quality product. Very robust and versatile in what the saw will do. Good clear operating instructions. Generous selection of blades with good information on what each blade can cut and the best settings, speed etc for each type of blade.
Arrived very quickly, used twice now, took a few attempts to get the blade to stay in. The saw handles well, not too impressed with the blades supplied the wood cutting one snapped cutting mdf, so used an old blade from the old job saw.
For a brand which I had not heard of before, this jig saw is fantastic quality and build, which easily gives the well known brands a run for their money.
You get 8 wood blades and 2 metal blades included with the jig saw, so you can use it straight away, without needing to buy blades separately.
The saw has a couple of great features, which include a guide light and a dust blower, so you can always see what you are doing when using the saw and get an accurate cut.
At time of review, it is priced at just under 46, which is excellent value for money.
Bought for my husband and he’s really happy with it!
It’s an excellent jigsaw for the price. It’s powerful enough and seems to be very durable but time will tell and it’s easy to use too!
Would recommend!
I got this jig saw for my partner when we started renovating our house. He needed a jig saw to complete few dyi projects and flooring. It works great and it is very precise. My partner completed all of his projects and this jig saw will last him many years and many more projects. It is a good value for money and works great.
Highly recommended!
Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it helpful.
I am not someone who is used to power tools, so I was a little nervous about using it. It took several goes until I managed to get the blade in properly so it didn’t ping out mid ‘jig’…
Speed seems fine, I haven’t used the bevel edge yet, the light is useful too. There was a B&D jigsaw in the shed (who knew?) So I compared the two…I much preferred the Jellas; although it is a little bigger, it was much lighter and faster.
This saw feels quite lightweight and cheap when you first open it and use it. However it won’t take you long to realise its actually pretty good. I use it several times a week and have never had a problem with it. I’m really impressed woth this saw
As soon as you pick this Jellas Jigsaw up, you know it is going to perform well.
A solid well made Unit, with the wherewithal to cope, and provide for all your requirements in a Jigsaw.
A very affordable Price, and I like the fact they are not wasting the environment with a useless Blow Moulded Case. Another wee Tic for them.
I had to contact their Support Team about a small niggle. They offered the best support I have ever experienced. (Thank you Heidi) confirming I had made a very wise choice.
Wow, what a great jigsaw! Don’t be put off because it’s not a big name. This is a powerful, well-built jigsaw with really useful features. First off, it cuts accurately and quickly using one of the orbital settings. The most useful features for me are the led light (my eyes aren’t getting any younger!) and the dust blower. With my old jigsaw I was constantly either having to blow the dust off of the pencil line or cup my hand around the motor vent to direct a flow of air towards the blade. I couldn’t see a review specifically about the dust blower before I purchased, so I was a bit unsure. Let me put your mind at ease: it works well. Bosch will need to up their game if they want to compete with this gem.
Having had 2 previous jigsaws that did not compare with the quality of this one very well made complete with blades and does excellent job
Heavy but good has light and blowe
We do not use saw very often but on ocassion we need to cut pieces of wood to fit shelving or chop tree branches. This saw is great to have in your tool box at home. The performance is satisfactory. The product itself is a bit heavy, and it is good and bad at the same time. It’s good as when you cut it doesn’t reposition easily, but if you planning on using it for a long time you may feel the weight after for a while.
It comes with several blades. I wish the cable was little longer to be honest.
Other than that it’s a great tool and good to have it at home for all your DIY projects.
I hope my review and video were helpful.
This jigsaw is great value for money for any avid diy-ers. It’s not meant to be a trademan’s tool but might actually be good for them as a backup. Comparing this jigsaw to our existing diy category Bosch jigsaw it does everything as well as the Bosch albeit not being cheaper at all. The list of features are pretty standard in this price range, you get tool free blade switching, blade guard, variable speed, lock button, illumination and dust extractor pipe without the extractor of course. This is a standard diameter pipe and worked flawlessly with out hoover using our existing attachment. All in all it’s a great little jigsaw and it’s recommended buy. The only downside is that for this much you can get a big brand one as well and this isn’t any better than those altough isn’t worse either. My only concern is durabilty and warranty procedures but so far nothing shows that I should be too concerned about these.
This Jig Saws has all the features a hobby DIY person would need for small projects around the house. It might not like a professional quality jigsaw that most carpenters uses but still a good value for the money. Comes with a few extras such like dust port adapter, a parallel guide, hex wrench, 8 blades for wood and 2 blades for metal. It doesn’t come with bag for blower, but that’s not a big deal, this can be bought separately.
The construction of this jig saw is great, it is heavy in weight but it’s easy to hold, both the lock button and the on/off button is perfectly located (easy to reach for a right or left-handed person). It has a LED light that can be turned on. On the side there is a knob to select the preferred orbital position which Changes the blade’s motion from vertical to orbital. On the tope, easily reachable with the thumb there is a scroll button to adjust the stroke of the blade anywhere from 0 to 3,300 strokes per minute depending on the task you are working on.
But on top of all this features the most important thing for me is that works fast and cuts perfectly. I can cut in a nice straight line or if the job required thanks to the footplate, it can be easily to navigate a curved cut as well. My other jigsaw would blow sawdust into my face covering my glasses, but this jigsaw has both a shield and blower which keep the sawdust out of your eyes and off your glasses.
Overall, I’m really impressed with it. It cuts through things faster and easier than my other one and I love the LED light feature. No complaints so far, I’ll see how it holds up.
This arrives in a brown cardboard box with black printing & measures approx 28cm x 23cm x 9cm.
The box would be easy to wrap if you were gifting it.
This jigsaw (which is fitted with a 3 pin plug) is priced on the low end of the prices you tend to see, but in terms of quality it’s definitely one of the better ‘cheap’ ones I’ve used.
It has a reassuringly solid weight to it which helps to keep it steady & moving along smoothly without the tendency of some much lighter weight machines to ‘bounce’ a little which can cause inaccuracies in cutting.
It performed nicely on some wide curved cuts I needed to make using the enclosed T119BO blade (the blades are all labelled on the blade so you can tell which one is which) as well as on straight & angled cuts.
This takes T shank blades, has a small front light & a fairly decent extraction port at the back (with an adaptor if required) which I was pleased about as using a jigsaw can create a lot of fine particles if used without extraction.
It comes with a parallel guide which is accurately marked every 0.5cm from 1-15cm
I’m not a fan of being able to lock tools on as I feel it is dangerous, but it can do that if it’s something important to you.
This has 6 speeds from 1 being the slowest to 6 being the fastest, can be set to an angle of up to 45 degrees for angled cuts, is easy to change the blades on & generally just a good all round tool for a home user at a fair price point.
It comes with a simple user guide & a 2 year warranty.

Been using all weekend and very pleased with the simply to use product which makes the job simple and a pleasure to use. Well
Done!!
Rounded off 300 fence panels, plenty of power and worked a treat.

Decent saw but as usual it comes in a cardboard box abd not even a cheap molded plastic case i would pay a little extra for a plastic case
