Started buying these through Amazon as they seem harder to get on the high street these days, stops your food waste smelling- and making the bin smell, leak proof too
I am a fan of Joseph Joseph products and the kitchen under unit bin works very well in my new kitchen. The bags are excellent and so far there have been no spillages. Very good product.
Pretty sturdy, not had one rip on me yet. No major leakage. Pretty decent, but can be expensive
The bags are sturdy and I have not had any problems since using these bags in the Joseph Joseph food caddy. They are a bit more money but much less messy.
Love them, perfect for the Joseph and Joseph bun I have attached to my kitchen door.
Just makes it so much better.
I might be easily pleased but it makes my day
Organised clean no fuss no spills
As expected these bags fit my JJ 4 litre food caddy perfectly. They are robust and don’t leak. Nice feel to them. Only real downsides are comparative pricing to generic bags (often thinner / less robust) and the absence of tie handles. The last bit creates two annoying outcomes. Firstly, taking the waste to a food bin for our weekly collection has an increased risk of spillage whilst carrying and secondly, once in the outside food bin the contents, being open rather than tied, the waste can smell or may spill over in the bin. We are not all using compost bins so the omission of tie handles is a mild annoyance. May not buy again given this.
Great biodegradable bags. Have used others that fall to pieces as soon as you remove them from the caddy. These have never done that. Wouldn’t use any other brand now
I am a Simple Human fan but the Jo Jo products are also great. These liners are as good as the Simple Human ones whic to me means they are good quality. They claim to be 100% compostible which is important if you are putting these in the ‘green’ bin. They fit well and are easy to install and a good fit is worth paying a little extra for.
I disposed of some vegetable peel and half an onion in one of these bags. When the bag was full, I tied it up and threw it in the regular 50l kitchen bin. The next day, the rotten onion smelll from within the bag was somehow seeping out. I have no idea how.
These are great for the little food bin that we have but found that they are slightly too small. I would suggest buying the bigger size if you have one of the little Joseph Joseph cube type recycle bins.
The product was finr but the little bucket was missing. The supplier offered to refund. But I did’nt want a refund and to return the mop, I told the supplier to send a bucket. 26 Dec. No bucket yet.
My OH bought a new Joseph Joseph bin for the kitchen and very nice it is.
We got a couple of free bags with it and thought they were pretty decent quality to be honest.
When we saw the price of the packs of bags it was a bit of an eye opener but having had another brand before with questionable quality bin bags we thought it was probably worth the extra expense to get something that didn’t split and spill all of its contents.
These fit perfectly, they have tie strings on them and feel twice as thick as standard bags. We’re half way through a pack now and we’ve not had a single one of them split or leak so will definitely be buying more in future.
Yes you can buy cheaper, yes it’s just rubbish and it’s just going in the bin but do you really want to risk getting last nights leftovers spilling over your clean kitchen floor?

While these are definitely more expensive than some other options available, they fit the Stack 4 perfectly and are much neater than the standard bags provided by my local authority. I also think they seem stronger somehow and I have had significantly less tears in the bags which further helps to reduce odours and stops the inside of the wheelie bin needing cleaned as often.
These are much better than the sort of standard bag sizes that you get in the supermarket – they are definitely stronger and are designed to fit the JosephJoseph food waste caddy. There is enough overlap to enable you to lift out a bag and secure it but the bags aren’t too big which can make it awkward to fit into the recycling vessel. Although the bags are thin there’s no leakage and so far none have split nor shown any likelihood of splitting. On the downside, they cost about twice as much as other food waste liners.
