When the ACV didn’t work (only 4 fruit flies in it) but next to it I put one of these bad boys in the soil of infected plant, within a few hours, there were around 20 fruit flies stuck to it! So far, I’ve used 4 of these around the plant and they’ve been filled BOTH SIDES with fruit flies, I just change them when full and dispose. Brilliant item and highly recommend these.

These are fantastic and work a treat.
I am raising Cacti from seed and I did not appreciate the number of Gnats that were reproducing in my compost until I placed a Fly Trap in the Propogater.

      GREAT PRODUCT

I’ve had some tiny little flies hovering around my cactus in my home office for days now and I’ve tried doing various things, but nothing really worked until I bought these. Well there brilliant, don’t look too bad and they’re odourless.
The number of little flies they’ve caught all stuck to my plant fly traps is amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are brilliant!

Where did all those little black flies come from! I though there were a few little flies, these things are catching hundreds – clearly I have a problem! Lucky for me these are very effective

I like it because it’s cheap and it works. I also did not water plants for about 10 days to reduce dampness in the soil. Now hopeful the amount of flies will reduce.

i tried everything to get rid of fungus gnats, apple cider vinegar, bug spray nothing worked, i put these in all my indoor pots and quickly it was obvious which pot had them so removed pot outside to repot it and now fly free

I had 4 flower pots and I put 4 in each pot covering it at all sides, you know something these wee things look good they are really not that bad. If you need to keep your plants safe from them little flys and other insects. I would give these a try and I promise from my experience that these work! Hope this helps you.

I have recently placed some trays of plants indoors in various rooms with basic compost. Since then plagued with tiny compost gnats that seem to head right for your nose! Very annoying to say the least.
Tried repellent wrist bands which don’t work contrary to some reviews that say they do.
These insect sticky traps arrived by GPO post today as opposed to usual Amazon van. Took 3 days but that was as advertised so fine there.
Added several of the traps to the trays and they began to work immediately! Not long enough to see whether these will control the gnat population and protect our noses but a very encouraging start.
A tip for deploying them: Peel up the sticky covering on each side almost to the top and fold back a bit so it doesn’t flop down a bit and re-stick. This will enable you to grip the top of the trap and push it down into the compost/soil without your fingers getting stuck to the stick. When in place just peel off the covering and job done.
Probably a better design for these would be to leave a little finger and thumb area at the top which is not sticky for gripping and inserting when covering completely removed.

These are very sticky & if I don’t get any aphids or flies stuck on these I will be extremely shocked.
All you need to do is take white protective cover off sticky part & put into damp peat. It’s so very easy a child could do it, obviously with supervision, wouldn’t be wise to stick your fingers in your mouth after handling without washing your hands firs

Neatly packaged little product, the pads are so sticky so make sure its in the soil before removing the film, theactual base you drive into the soul vould be a bit more substantial to make driving it in even easie

4.0 out of 5 stars Take off sticky pads after inserting into plantpo

Having repotted my aspidistra with infected compost, my house was filled with tiny annoying little flies. We sprayed the soil with bug killer every day and stuck 3 of these fungus gnat traps into the pot. Soon, they were covered with gnats! These traps definitely work. It takes a while to eliminate all of the pesky flies but these traps are such good value for money, it’s cheap to order more, if you need to.

I tried these and am really pleased with them – Every summer I have issues with tiny flies getting inside and setting up home in my plants soil ..
I used these in my plants that are on windowsill
      – jade babies that my cat up ended – (when he was chasing the tiny flies .)
I’m also using them beside my recycling bin… (works brilliantly )
Lastly I’ve been using them in my indoor compost bag – as I’m potting up jade plants etc and it’s brilliant how fresh these make the compost feel.
Easy to use and economical ( double sided )
      I’d recommend them !!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat can I say? I had small flies following me around my house, after just 1 night of putting these up – problem solved. No more flies flying into my face. I have placed all around the house on the plants as you can see in the picture and honestly I can’t recommend this product enough. Its super handy as it comes as a pack of 16, I have a major fly hot-spot in the house where I’ve had to replace already as the amount of flies it’s caught has been crazy. It’s double sided too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely amazing 👏

Between dozens of house plants and a bioactive boa enclosure I have a serious fungus gnat problem. Last spring was a nightmare. This year I’m prepared.

I don’t think they use any kind of smell or pheramone so I will just have to hope they land on them. I’m not a fan of the bright yellow color but I have a feeling this is by design. If I wanted to make insects land on something I would make that something the same color as a flower.

They are very sticky so if they land on them it’s all over. There are 16 in a pack so I can spread them around and increase the odds. They are also fairly cheap. I imagine this will be a war of attrition, so fingers crossed.
