The stroller is good.
The best part is wheels which can even go smoothly on grass surfaced.
It small and lightweight and maneuvering is very easy.
What I didn’t like was the seat. It’s not very comfy and it doesn’t go completely upright. It easy to lay it flat but it not very quick and easy to bring it to upright position.
I do think it is a little overpriced, but otherwise it does the job.
It folds up and down relatively easy and to a decent size; easy-ish to carry and fold when alone with toddler (but not when you have a lot of suitcase/ bags with you, then it can get a bit tricky – but usually people are kind enough to help).
Much better when you are travelling as two parents. We took it with us when we went on holiday (via check in luggage) and it was great to have it with us when strolling around in Greece. Much easier, as carrying a toddler would be too strenuous.
The only thing is that the back leans back quite a bit, which our toddler didn’t like too much, but not end of the world. And the back can be moved back all the way down, great for when toddler is napping.
Lovely to push. Bought for my youngest but my middle child (3) still fits! Plenty of room in the basket for shopping etc. Raincover is the only downfall. Has Velcro to do up at the back but nothing to attach it to the frame foot end so when windy it blows up/off. Other than that. Highly recommend
Unfolding it requires just releasing one clip-type thing, whilst to fold you simply place your right hand on the middle of the handle and slide a bold across with your thumb. Easy!
The seat reclines allowing the kid to sleep comfortably, and the hood is great as it has 4 segments that can be pulled out, one of which is zipped as standard but can be released to provide coverage almost fully over the pram – great in really bad weather.
There’s also a little flap in the top of the hood which covers a small window, so if you’re pushing you can have a little look at your tiny human/cat/excessively spoilt Pekingese.
It does everything we need it to. We were also able to buy generic accessories such as a rain cover, pram mitten for the handle and a foot muff, all of which fit perfectly without having to buy anything brand specific.
The things we would like to see improved? Firstly, the seat doesn’t sit quite as upright as I’d like it to, but this doesn’t seem to bother the young ‘un as much as it does us.
Secondly, altho it folds down fairly flat and the wheels can be removed, it’s still not that compact when folded but it probably couldn’t really get much flatter.
I wasn’t keen on the brown leather handle in the photos and I’m still not mad on it but it’s better in the flesh than in the photos!
Finally, would probably benefit from suspension but you don’t really get that on decent prams in this price bracket.
Overall? Great pushchair in the price bracket, would recommend.
Pluses for me:
– huge basket
– higher than average handlebar
– very easily fold down
– small enough to fit under a bed to be stored
– massive hood, perfect for this weather and needing to keep a young baby covered!
– very good quality materials
– sturdy frame
– easy assemble from box, took me less than 5 minutes
I definitely highly reccomend this pushchair, whether toddler or younger baby.
Good quality is quite big and spacious love it just the back does stay all up so my little one stays a bit lay down wondering if there’s any attachment that elps with this and is quite high I am small I should have checked that but overall I am happy with my purchase.
If I have one criticism of the stroller we bought so we could take our granddaughter out is that the plastic apron used when its wet and windy doesn’t seem to be the right one for this model. My daughter bought the same pushchair for herself and the apron fits perfectly. Ours has no way of securing the apron to the bottom of the buggy and blows up when its windy which is getting me granddaughter wet. Be interested to know suppliers view as I can’t leave feedback directly to them!
Edited to add it doesn’t sit up as much as a standard buggy it’s slightly laid back my daughter is now at the age where she wants to be nosey and I’m wishing it sat up more also alot if the time when putting the pram up after taking it out of the car the hood falls off but it does only take a couple of seconds to put back o
I had an ICandy pushchair but my almost 2 year old was outgrowing it. I hunted for ages in search of a nice looking pushchair that had similar features to the ICandy. I was a bit sceptical buying this as its cheap but I was completely surprised by how fantastic it is. So easy to assemble, loads of room for my little one when he lies down for a nap when out and about. Folds down very easily and easy to push with one hand. The basket storage is more than enough bigger than most strollers. I feel impelled to write a review when I don’t usually make an effort writing one. Don’t hesistatento buy, you won’t be dissapointed. The only fault I’d say is the sitting up position isn’t upright enough but my son isn’t bothered by this. I purchased the grey style.
It’s clean cut, waterproof, easy to wipe clean, nice to push and has a great handle height (I’m 5ft6). I like that the clip on the harness is easy to undo (which wasn’t the case with my last pram) and that it folds really easily to fit in the car (my car is a Volvo, but it fits in my father-in-law’s mini too!). I’ve also found that if you leave the arm rest bar on, then you can pull the folded pram along like a suitcase as it rolls on the back wheels, which is great if you have lots of bags to carry. I also like the big wheels which are good for uneven ground and they also detach easily to be cleaned.
I also like the little window on the hood so you can see your little one while pushing the stroller.
Room for improvement:
The breaks on this buggy aren’t the best, I have actually found they sometimes still allow the wheels to turn and you can push the buggy along a few feet with the brakes on.
The storage compartment, although it’s the full size of the bottom of the buggy, it isn’t very easily accessible. You can’t just chuck your shopping in there like my old pram, you have to crouch down to push your shopping into it and I have already gotten a bag stuck in there when trying to pull it back out.
Overall, it’s a really nice pram, and I’m glad I got it.
Ok so all in all would i recommend this product? Yes as long as you are ok with the negatives i mentioned earlier.
Loses a star for 2 issues:
1) the footmuff is an afterthought. You can fold down the buggy while it is attached and is only held on with Velcro. Not very secure and a blanket is required.
2) the seat doesn’t go upright enough. Not terrible for an old child or for sleeping, but for our toddler who’s not yet walking they can barely see over the footmuff.
These are minor issues that we can hopefully live with. We got this for under 100gbp so I think it’s good value, given other similar buggys from silver cross or Mothercare arent as well built.
