Bought this with the hope that a 2tb drive in PS5 shoudl last a good length of time. The drive looks kinda cool, so its shame it won’t be on display! I bought the version with the heat spreader, not the heat sink. So far it seems to run perfectaly fine and stable, even with long gaming sessions.
I’d bought it to fit into a PS5 – it was super easy and fast. Took the side panel off, unscrewed the SSD panel, inserted the drive, fitted the ME screw and put the SSD panel and side panel back on. Within 5 minutes of opening the drive, it was fitted, formatting and downloading onto it. As a speed test, my PS5 clocked it at 6554 – not quite the 7000 but this is more due to PS5 bottlenecks.
Performance is great. I’d moved around 350Gb games to it and that took maybe 90 seconds. I’m not too fussed whether that matches peak speed or whatever, just recognise that this drive is super fast and a decent price.
I like it, I use it to store my steam library games and runs everything grand.
1TB was a good capacity choice for me. I think my kids have about 15 games installed and its still only half full.
This product is an excellent solution. Very easy to install, there are YouTube videos on this. It fits perfectly.
Sony recommend a heat sink so I paid the extra for the heatsink version rather than the foil heatspreader.
Performance seems OK but I have no benchmarks to compare.

Bought this for my PS5. Comes with heatspreader attached so it is quite literally ready to plug and play for PS5 & PC’s. Drive is really fast and copying games from the PS5’s internal drive to this was extremely fast. I chose the 1TB option as I felt i wouldn’t need much more as additional storage and for me that is suitable. Got this for an excellent price.

Can honestly recommend it for anyone looking for M2 external PS5 memory.
As someone else mentioned, there’s a slight gap between the heat spreader and the controller, but a little pressure (thermal blu-tack and heatsink) makes the 2 connect.
This works as expected and is just as fast as it says it can be. I can see another reviewer saying it is not as fast as advertised, as he got 6000ish read speed, but as you can see, it does go up to 7300. The write speed might go faster, but 6000 is close enough and certainly fast enough..
This will boot to Windows faster than 20 seconds as they claim as well. I could be in windows in around 6-7 seconds. The read speed is ridiculously fast.
Would definitely recommend this if you have the required PCIe 4.0 slot to get the full speed.

Does what it says on the Tin, a fast M.2 2TB SSD ideal for games libraries.
Easy to install. Ensure you understand how to clone from old hard drives to new 2m nvme , if that’s your plan. I needed extra space and start up speed for MSFS updates. I have seen massive improvement from even quick 2.5 SSD.
I used Macrium Reflect. (Check out you tube ) For free Cloning from old hard drive. . My motherboard was H410M H V3.BTW there is a plastic clip already on my motherboard that works, although I had purchased extra screws and bushings. Good luck! Best decision for me. M
Easy install and no software needed, the read write speeds are as advertised and great value for the price! Kingston are the best in my opinion for memory as other companies tend to burn out. My previous western digital were no where near as reliable! Will buy the 4tb when funds permi
The drive is very quick but not quite as quick as Kingston claim. Mind you’ll hardly notice. Win 11 Pro to usable desktop 20 or so seconds. Office apps start instantly.
The packaging was not really substantial enough plus Amazon packaging also not strong enough. Nice boot print on the packaging.
For the price it is a decent buy.

Stuck this in my Intel NUC which had an old slow SSD and the difference incredible. Even going from another SSD the difference in boot times and read/write speeds is impressive. To be fair my old SSD was a SATA drive so that limited it’s speed somewhat. The PCIe connection on this allows for crazy fast read/write speeds as long as your system supports it and is a worthy upgrade. If you want to save money I would recommend buying the smallest sized drive and using it as your boot drive and then get a separate drive for storage. That way you get crazy fast performance without the high cost.
I have recently given my gaming Laptop an upgrade as it was struggling to handle a lot of the softwares I needed for Graphic and Product design (CAD based software). This SSD has seriously boosted performance and has allowed the softwares to run a lot smoother with no lag. This has also translated to better gaming sessions such as CSGO, where a drastic improvement in speed and graphics has been noticed.
This SSD is super easy to fit but if you were like me and find yourself struggling with hardware tech, the product comes with a very handy setup guide and within 5-10 minutes you should be ready to go and get your gaming on! After installing this SSD, you should begin to experience some blazing speeds of up to 7300/7000 mb/s. In other words, you can no longer blame your Laptop speeds for any bad gaming performances haha.
Overall, very pleased with this SSD. Worth the hassle and money as it often means you won’t need to buy a whole new laptop. I wouldn’t go for other brands, Kingston has never failed to disappoint (especially in the long term). 5 stars!

Yes, it’s really very pricey but man oh man, this drive is incredible!
I upgraded the m.2 supplied with my laptop to increase capacity but also a faster data transfer was needed.
This thing makes my system lightning speed! No joke!.
With som RAM upgrades and this SDD upgrade, I’ve changed a budget system which was “usable ” into a lightning speed power house and runs like a machine twice its price

Easy to install, Windows and Mac recognise it immediately with no issues. 500Gb is not “the max” space available, but it’s good for some software or game.

I ordered this NVME drive because my old drive was sluggish and slow, it was delaying when booting up.
Arrived in sealed clear packet attached to a branding card.
Install was super easy, there a slot in the mother board labelled up as NVME. Just turn off system and slot drive into place and secure with screw fixing. Drive is detected instantly as free storage.
I now use this Kingston FURY Renegade NVME as my main drive, holds all my window storage.
Boots up in less than 8 seconds to windows main screen.
Excellent quality product form a leading manufacturer, very good value for 500GB of storage for just 103.49.
Overall, improved my whole system ten fold. No more delays or lagging, instant booting up and general improved gaming.
I would recommend this product.
This is a perfect addition for my step brother, he’s really into the gaming world, especially pc gaming and when this popped up I gave him and quick call and he asked me to please grab it for him to test. This particular one is the 500gb model and packs a punch! Very easy to install and looks the part in the way of looks and style too! Really good processing speed and slimline. The low profile of the unit allows for heat to be spread and cooled down much quickly within the unit too. Arrived very well presented and I’m very happy! Works an absolute treat from a manufacturer which I’ve used before and are incredible and trustworthy in the gaming world.

As a gaming drive, particularly a flagship model, it is quite surprising that Kingston packages their FURY Renegade SSD in a simple packaging. The Kingston FURY Renegade SSD is sealed in a thermoformed plastic shell in a blister card packaging.
The Kingston FURY Renegade SSD is a standard M.2 2280 card with a graphene heatspreader. The graphene heatspreader is pre-applied. In most cases these types of drives are best used underneath another heatsink but can also be used by itself while cooled passively.
Kingston is confident with their products and the FURY Renegade SSD is the the current flagship of their SSD line-up so performance is worth the title of flagship.
