On opening the package I looked at the so called leather pads & doubted they were actually leather but I thought I would give them a try. Because I sometimes wear glasses I thought I would use the glasses spacer when fitting it to y Quest 2. It wouldn’t clip in properly & kept falling off, using it without the spacer it clipped in well & secure. The “Leather” pads were comfortable but were soon slipping down my face with sweat. By changing to the fabric pad I was able to keeep the quest on for over 2 hours with no sweat at all, & it stayed in place comfortably. I just wish it had come with 2 fabric pads, instead of 2 plastic….sorry “leather” pads.

I watched a few YouTube videos where several products were compared and this one seemed to appear consistently at the top of the reviews.
I can only compare to the original face covering which came with the Oculus but I can say this is a massive improvement.
I’ve not used the glasses spacer but the comfort of the leather padding is so much better. It doesn’t affect the weight in any noticeable way but the vents have helped with reducing the misting on the eyepieces

Comes well packaged and fits – 2 things that can’t be said for similar kits! I have a very thin n narrow face where my wife is probably the total opposite, both glasses wearers and this fits us both, though the glasses issue is still there, at least for me. But that’s down to the Quest itself far more than this fit kit!

If you are looking for a fit kit at half the price than the Oculus one – i can certainly recommend this one.

This turned my vr headset into something I have to take off every 5 minutes, to something I can use all day. It’s incredible comfortable, feels a lot cooler than the default face pad, and I’ve not had my glasses or the vr lenses fog up once using this. Amazing product.

I’ll keep it short because it’s late and I don’t want to write an essay. Basically, for the past few months I’ve had the stock glasses spacer in my quest, thought it was an original pare of the quest and forgot it was there. Turns out that this interface doesn’t fit the stock spacer. I’ve bought two of these, the first of which I refunded thinking it was faulty. I’ve been an absolute muppet again. TLDR; Kiwi, I’m so sorry for being an idiot.

This product gave me amazing first impressions of how it looked and felt compared to the foam Facial that came with my Quest 2. This felt like heaven when paired with a better head strap. before I used to get a lot of irritation around where the foam touched my face since it was building up with a lot of skin and sweat and it was hard to clean. It also pulled on my hair and even ripped some out but ever since I got this for my Quest 2 I haven’t had any of these problems while playing my face doesn’t go all read and blotchy it also isn’t ripping out my hair and getting stuck in the cushions If you are planning on buying a Quest 2 I highly recommend this as top 5 accessories for the Quest 2 due to its easy to install nature and amazing feeling! Overall this is one of my top 10 favourite products for my Quest 2 and it should be a priority to get if you are thinking of joining the Quest 2 group!

I was a bit stressed as I read quite a lot of reviews about glasses not fitting (as mine are quite big) but they must have improved something as my big glasses squeeze in better than on the original glasses spacer. Much more comfy on the face than the original ones. I had light leaking from the bottom of my nose on the originals, this fixed it and makes a more immersive experience.

This interface is so much nicer than the standard one
Blocks out nearly all light around my nose, is loads comfier, and has the option of cloth or an easy clean cooler material which is brilliant when working up a sweat.

    Highly recommended

I bought this and the Bobovr M2 plus replacement head strap. The Kiwi facial interface is very easy to install and comfortable even when I’ve made the Bobovr really tight. A very worth while upgrade for me.

It is a well made sturdy product and would 100% recommend for any quest 2 owner as this make the experience much more enjoyable than compared to the normal quest 2 face plate and the silicone cove

This is definitely a very good upgrade for the quest, decent comfort and feels a lot better than the stock interface.

It seems to work fine with glasses though i found the spacer can come off a little too easily if you pick up the quest in the wrong place.

Definitely worth upgrading but my one criticism is that it doesn’t cover my face properly (thinner face), consequently the quest is only really pressing on my forehead in the middle which gets very uncomfortable. If they included some velcro spacers to bulk up the sides a little that would easily solve the problem (and I’d expect that for the price tbh).

Otherwise excellent product (also check out the battery strap replacement!) that significantly improved the experience!

This did exactly what it says it will do. It gave enough space within the headset for me to wear my glasses comfortably. It definitely beats the alternatives of paying 100s for built-in prescription lenses for my oculus headset and it was frankly really easy to install.

I love the products from kiwi design for the Quest 2, this is very good quality and fits very well.
having played a lot of energetic games I realised that my lenses would fog and I would sweat during long sessions, I found this and it’s vents really do help air flow around your face reducing lens fog and sweating.

This is awesome, really comfy and I’ve heard a lot of people say they want to buy the extra battery pack to counteract the weight with other headsets (because they are slipping forwards) I’ve not felt the need to do that with this one it’s really comfy all on it’s
    Own.

KIWI’s Meta Quest 2 Interface was a comfortable fit for me.
No more foggy screen caused by my nose or breath into the lens.
No more teary eyes caused by light leakage into headset.
It also helped slightly increase and decease the IPD eye to eye adjuster by adding or reducing distance with the pads and reduced blurs.

Kiwi are my go to when it comes to VR after market accessories, so comfortable. Feel as if I can wear the oculus for hours now after getting the facial interface to go with the upgraded rear elite strap. Duo made in heaven, keep up the great work Kiwi 5*

I really struggled to play Beat Saber without steaming up after every single song. I tried everything, but eventually gave in and brought this. Without a doubt, it is much better. However don’t expect it to be perfect. I do still get steamed up but nowhere near as much, so this is a huge improvement for me.

The only thing i don’t like is the design across the nose. The rubber flaps sit above the nose, and seem to press on it. For some reason i sometimes feel like its effecting my breathing through my nose, and means i can’t where it for extended sessions. I am glad i brought it, but considering the high cost for a rubber seal, i would have expected it to allow me to breath better.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood:
    Easily attachable
Comes with face cover (even though I got the silicone face cover)
Has a nose cover which works well but not as good as the silicone cover
3 different types of covers to attach
    Air flows well

    Bad:
Velcro masks bit fidgety and hang off each vertical side
Not compatible with silicone cover which feels like a waste of money
Too heavy and a bit uncomfortable FOR the Kiwi head strap when trying to flip up

This is absolutely the best addition to my VR headset I have bought. It allows some airflow, that means I can keep gaming until I want to stop rather than when I my face is a puddle of sweat. Don’t get me wrong, you still have to occasionally wipe it down with a cloth, but it is comfy and vastly superior to either the itchy original or rubber add-on’s I have used.

Pros – easy to fit, blocks almost all light, way more comfortable than the Meta original.
Cons – I still get a little pinch around the bridge of my nose. Not nearly as bad as I did without this kit (maybe it’s the shape of my face?).

Fairly happy with this purchase. It is more comfortable than the original and blocks out the light well.

Not sure how well the vents perform but it feels a bit cooler in there, definitely less fogging.

The padding is quite thick so it can feel a bit wobbly but may just have to tighten it up a bi

Do your self a favor, if you got a nice shiny new meta quest 2, invest in one of these,

    1) has air vents to help with prevent steaming of the lenses( if you have major sweat session on beat saber then you still likely to steam up)

    2) so much more comfortable than the sandpaper sweat absorbing one that comes standard. Atleast you can wipe these after a session and they don’t smell because your last session you got extra sweaty from the UK heatwave and decided to whap out the VR for a cheeky game of beat saber or gorilla tag

Over all I think these are a good investment .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was hoping this would make it more comfortable wearing the VR headset, sadly I still end up with red marks on my face and over time it becomes uncomfortable, although it no longer fogs up inside, well I have yet for that to happen with this product, it pushes on my nose (could be a VR design issue) but those rubber flaps keeps ending up pushing inside instead of on my nose.

The price is ok, but could of been better a bit lower, but overall its ok’ish.

I had an infestation of mice when my patio door glass smashed when I tried to open the door last summer. During the delay while a worker arrived to board up the opening, a pregnant mouse or some mice sneaked into my house without me noticing.

It turned out to be three mice, and I let them out using a humane trap. However, it amazes me the number of things they chewed, including my Oculus Quest 2 face pad.

I found this model a good replacement, easy to fit and comfortable to wear. The glasses spacer is effective (I haven’t been able to see clearly past the end of my nose since childhood, so I have fairly chunky glasses). Again, this is intuitive and easy to fit on the Quest 2.

Compared with the default Quest 2 facial interface, this set is infinitely better. Way comfier and (as a glasses wearer) way less fogging up.

Only downside is that it seems very expensive for what it is, but if you’re going to be in VR a lot, it’s worth it.

EDITED: Doesn’t work with glasses, I even tried the glasses spacers that go over the lenses but when I put the headset on the pressure on the bridge of my nose from the glasses due to the lack of a proper glasses spacer means that I cannot use this with glasses. And the glasses make it a lot clearer for me. Apart from that good, if you can buy it on sale.

EDIT: Got a package this morning to my surprise the nice team at Kiwi sent me a replacement face mask with a compatible glasses spacers that rims around to give a few inches extra room, similar to what you get with the Oculus Quest 2. Thank you, it works a lot better now!

okay, so the one thing I found really hard with this product is that it is ridiculously hard to assemble and after you do it can be quite irritating on your cheek it kind of digs in and makes long gaming sessions a little bit harde

  28. LateshaA59 says:

The reason why I got this was because the rubber that comes with the quest can keep coming off, making it a sing n dance to put back on.
This. Takes. Care of all of that!!!!!
    It stays put.
And it very easy to clean, it just wipes and is ready for the next person.

Update:- since my review company got back in touch and offered me a full refund as well as they have spoken to they’re supplier in regards to my comments and how to improve product design to further better the experience was very un expected and is really good customer service old review :-Item is as described but wish it came fully assembled only good thing about it is interchangeable pads but I would rather just one solid pad with the vents rather than interchangeable as it doesn’t look very secure

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMy original facial interface for the Oculus 2 came with the new silicone cover (that was offered to some as a ‘recall’). There was nothing wrong with it as such; it was comfortable, fitted well, didn’t cause any irritation etc., etc. But there was/is no ventilation with it, and within minutes of putting the headset on, regardless of playing an energetic or relaxed game, I’d be trying to sweat my own bodyweight out through my face.

After a little research, I opted for this KIWI facial interface as it seemed to have the best ventilation vs light leaks.

I was not disappointed. After a slight faff of attaching the velcro backed leatherette surround to the actual interface (had to do it several times to get it equal) it fits very well. It’s very comfortable as there seems to be a thicker foam surround (than the original) and therefore you can ‘squish’ it onto your face for a more positive fit.

    My only bugs are:
    1. The silicone ‘nose flaps’ which to be fair are great at keeping out light leaks, feel a little too stiff, so that I can feel then pressing on my nose all the time. Perhaps these will loosen up a bit over time. this is only a minor gripe though.
    2. The original glasses spacer is not compatible with this interface. Currently I can get away without glasses, but this is something to bear in mind.

The best part, and the entire reason I bought this however, was for the ventilation. This I’m glad to say is excellent. I was doubtful how much different a passive set of vents could make (i.e. no fans/forced air etc.), but it really is worlds apart. I can have the headset on for ages and there’s no sweating at all (apart from my general lack of fitness). Not even any slight steaming up of the lenses. A huge improvement over the original, and in my opinion, well worth the money.

Hope this review can help some of you make an informed choice.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersThe foam doesn’t fit very well, it is too big. It needs a spacer if you wear glasses (the oculus spacer does not work with this) and the glue on the velcro got unstuck in a day… The foam is not as good as the oculus one, it’s too soft.
I bought hoping it would solve my issues but ended up with more.

Edit: changed the review from 1 to 3 starts, since the support team got in touch with me to try solve the issues, they promised to release a compatible spacer in the future and improve the velcro issue.

I will update this review again once they release the spacer and can try again with my glasses on.

Edit 2: changed the review from 3 to 5 stars
They have sent me the new version with the new spacer and I can say the experience is so much better, velcro wasn’t an issue anymore and the spacer is perfect for people using glasses like me.
    Very comfortable.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally impressed with this Kiwi Facial Interface Bracket for Oculus Quest 2, it’s very comfortable, there was no issue with light leakage through the air vents. There was a significant decrease in the heat and sweatiness around my brow and eyes. The nose piece is well sized so as to limit outside light without impeding on the in headset visuals. Overall a great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable fit and decreases facial heat issues
