It’s the smoothest sand I’ve ever felt, could sit and play with it for ages

hamster hates it, he prefers that other rodent sand which creates a lot of dust and is bad for them. but it’s really really tiny and feels cold to the touch. does the job
Very fine perfect for a terrestrial substrate or even aquatic, I use this substrate with pebbles for my adult pair of Spanish ribbed newts. And we all love it! Beautiful golden glow and very fine even if my newts accidentally pick up a few granules it would pass right through having no risk of impaction. Plants also thrive!!
Bought this for our new hamster. It was recommended by the assistant in the pet shop who also has 3 hamsters and uses this for them. Great recommendation! Nibbles loves having his bath in this sand!
It was a bit expensive but it’s great quality and I used it in my fish tank. Can’t use gravel as we have fully aquatic frogs not fish. They seem happy enough with it. It’s bright white so you can see any bits clearly.
… ok so I thought I’d try this out with the rats but it seemed to irritate thier eyes… So I gave it to the kids who really enjoyed it untill the middle child got some in thier eye and it took two days of eyedrops to get out!
