Bought this to replace an old hose as it had split. This was much longer and to start with had a number of twists in in when trying to get on the reel. However, with a bit of patience and untwisting it made a world of difference. Its well constructed so hoping I will get a long term with this one.
This hose is great if you have an easy wind storage reel but trying to wind it up by hand to put on a hanger is not easy. It is quite heavy and obviously more so with water in. It arrives all curled up as pictured and is difficult to unwind without curves. As soon as you pull the hose the curves end up in kinks. We have laid ours out straight on the lawn, filled with water, for a few days. This did remove some of the curves but it still has some and it makes it difficult to wind it round the hanger as it wants to twist the wrong way in places. Having said that, it does suggest the hose is strong and durable!
My first impression was: Holy moly, this one looks kinky…
But it turned out to be a lightweight and easy to maneuver garden hose.
My first time using it as a pressure washer supply hose worked just perfectly fine.
Bought another one after using for a while, its good vale for money but not as sturdy as say Hozelock Ultra which feels a lot thicker – this hose will kink quite easily especially when not under pressure.
Overall very good with added benefit of being phthalates free.
Bought to go with my Karcher jet wash, my normal hose wasn’t compatible. Arrived in good time and easy to use and store! Good length for the entire garden. Happy.
I love the karcher hoses. They’re well made and last forever! My old one is about 10 years old and is still as new! Strong and durable, anti kink. Just a nice hose!
A very good quality hose with a ten year warranty. Cheap hoses delaminate after a couple of years and are a waste of miney

very good, but it kinks a lot. if you want a hosepipe which doesn’t kink then it would be very stiff and a bit more difficult to deal with, which i wouldn’t like. i love this one even though it kinks. i can easily un-kink it by twisting it in the other direction, no big deal.

I recently purchased a heavy duty hose from a very well known manufacturer, after a couple of months it started to leak, I removed the section of hose, it had a weak spot. Now using the Karcher hose, more flexible, good quality and I am confident that it will last a long time.
There are so many hoses out there now and hoselock is very dear. So I decided Karcher should be ok because of name. Price is also fair.
It is not as heavy as I thought it would be. But time will tell
