Die Maschine ist relativ laut, aber sie macht sehr schnell Eiswrfen, was fr uns wichtig ist. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr einfach gehalten, sie zeigt an das Wasser fehlt, das der Eiswrfelbehlter voll ist, aber wir ziehen jeden Abend den Stecker was etwas nervt, im groen und ganzen macht die Maschine was sie soll
Like that I don’t buy ice anymore,dislike ice could be bigger when I purchased I thought it said it made both large and small but it only makes small so you need a lot in your glass.
Tidy little workhorse- nice compact footprint so it sits on the counter nicely.

Die Maschine macht was sie soll. Die Eiswrfel sind allerdings ziemlich klein und innen hohl, sie schmelzen sehr schnell im Glas. Auerdem ist die Maschine ziemlich laut, wenn sie arbeitet. Und das grte Manko ist der integrierte Wassertank. Wenn ein Rest Wasser verbleibt, muss man die ganze Maschine hochheben (ber 7kg), um das Wasser auszuschtten. Es darf ja nicht drin stehen bleiben, sonst verkeimt es bei warmem Wetter sehr schnell. Ich behalte die Maschine, wrde sie aber nicht nochmal kaufen und nicht empfehlen.
Very handy in the hot weather. The ice can melt quite quickly once made but if youre using it on a hot say, you’ll be dipping into it to top up your drinks anyway. I’m very pleased I bought it. Not too noisy and saves you having to.try and pop ice cubes out of trays (the ice only flies across the room anyway when you do muster up the strength to pop it out!)… a good purchase this one
As per the product description, it takes a few minutes before it starts making ice cubes, but it will keep on making more every few minutes. The ice cubes aren’t the largest, about the size of the last part of your index finger, but they do the job. Unfortunately you can’t alter the size of the ice cubes, but that’s to be expected at this price point. Overall very pleased, seems well made and looks neat enough on the counter top. In fact everyone that has visited us and has seen it in action, have all said that they want one now
Like to have ice in our cold drinks, can’t be bothered with lots of leaking ice bags or trays. Used to buy bags at the supermarket.

Ice cubes are a decent size, but they do us, I suppose a larger more expensive one would produce bigger? But this is just right for us.

This ice machine produces 9 thick bullet-shaped ice cubes in just 6-9 minutes, making it perfect for entertaining or simply enjoying a refreshing drink at home. Additionally, this ice maker has a 1.5L tank and can produce up to 12kg of ice in 24 hours, which is more than enough for my needs.
One of the things I really appreciate about this ice maker is that it is incredibly easy to use – our children are able to use this without issue. Simply fill the tank with water, turn it on, and wait for the ice to start forming. The machine is also very quiet when in operation, which is a definite plus.
Another feature I like about this ice maker is its portability. It is compact and lightweight, so I can easily move it. This would also make it a great option for taking along to a party and we’ll probably take it on holiday to a static caravan.
However, there are a few things that I dislike about this machine. Firstly, the ice basket is a bit small, so I find myself needing to empty it quite frequently. Additionally, I have noticed that the ice cubes tend to melt fairly quickly, so it’s important to use them right away or transfer them to a freezer to become more solid. If it’s the latter, you’ll need to use a shallow tray and space out the ice for best results to prevent the ice clumping.
Bottom line: a portable and efficient ice maker. It is a great option for home use, office use, or for hosting house parties. The machine is easy to use, produces ice quickly, and is lightweight and convenient to move.
Anyway, having received it, set it up (easy) filled the water tank and pressed Go – well, how did we ever manage without it? My weekend Gin and Tonics are much more enjoyable, instead of searching through the bowels of the freezer to find the bag of ice cubes I am sure I made a few days ago only to discover there are just three left – I no longer have to suffer a lukewarm G and T. The delights of plonking 4 or 5 ice bullets into my glass with a slice of lemon and a dash of Angostura, then pouring Gin followed by sparkly Tonic, the expectation of an ice cold drink as many times as I want is no longer a disappointment in reality. I ran the machine for about an hour or so and made roughly 100 bullets, maybe a touch more. They are now sitting in the freezer ready for use. Even if for some reason I am once again down to my last three ice cubes I am happy in the knowledge that 9 minutes later we can have an ice cold drink , while plenty more are being made at the touch of a button. I use a filter jug to fill the water reservoir and am very happy with this ice maker’s performance. It really is the gadget you don’t know you need, and I haven’t even started on Cocktails and Iced coffee………

This countertop icemaker looks a lot nicer than it displays in photos, initial arrival and setup recommends to let sit for a 24-hour period due to shipping as this will allow the refrigerant to settle. There’s really no setup to this besides performing an initial wipe-down of the machine and water holding tank areas, pushing water through and dumping first few batches of ice similar to that of a standard icebox. The ice this machine makes is “hollow bullet” type like and works really well for any drink. Where it has benefitted use in our family is in making smoothies as the ice is very easily broken up by the mini blender we use.
Breakdown.
The water tank is in the main area, we use bottled/filtered water in the machine, and sits just under the ice tray. Each time the machine makes new ice, it cycles the water through while filling as if it performs a defrost of the icing area to make the ice. As ice is made, it releases onto the ice catch slide, sliding into the ice catch tray. This tray rest just under the lid and above the water reservoir. As the ice basket/try is filled, there’s 2 sensors (one on each side of the ice slide) to determine when the maximum level of ice has been made.
Issue.
As the ice continues to pile up in the basket, it stays mainly towards the rear of the basket by the sensors. Often causing the ice to stop being made when it’s already at a reasonable level, but could still make more ice to fill the basket.
his ice maker is a very good idea especially if u have a party running or when summer time and really hot, will be very useful im sure .this item produce lots of ice around 12 kilos per day . the ice maker is a bit heavy and robustly, also large so take lots of space in the kitchen area so we decided to only use it when we really need so we just used few times so far to fill it up some containers in the freezer then back in the box till next time. the ice maker is easy to operate , a bit noisy during the process of making the ice , its nice to watch the process through, takes around 10 minutes to make the ice and works neat and nice.
I recently tested the Kumio Ice Makers Machine and I’m very happy with it. It makes 9 bullet-shaped ice in just 6-9 mins, which is great when you need ice quickly. The ice bullets are relatively thicker and last longer. You can fill the tank with 1.5L of water to make 12kg of ice in 24 hrs.
The one-touch intelligent control is very easy to operate. You just add water to the ice maker and press the button to start. When there is not enough water or the ice basket is full, the indicator light will come on. A large clear lid allows you to monitor the progress of ice-making. It comes with a removable ice basket and ice scoop for easy transfer of ice to your drinks or ice bucket.
The KUMIO countertop ice maker is equipped with a high-efficiency compressor, which makes it energy-efficient but quite loud. However, I found that the noise was tolerable.

This is a fantastic little machine, ideal for someone hosting a party who requires a speedy, reliable delivery of ‘ice bullets’ for drinks.
It really does provide them as quickly as advertised, and it’s nice and compact size means it doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen.
A perfect party mate.
The ice maker arrived well-padded in a cardboard box. Once you have removed it from its box it does say that you should leave the device to stand for 24 hours (much like when you get a new fridge or freezer) so that the coolant can settle. The machine has a footprint of 32cm x 22.8cm and measures 29.7cm in height so isn’t an insubstantial size on your countertop, but when you consider it is essentially a freezer, I feel like this is very compact and the size is justified.
The machine is silver in colour and is made from a durable feeling ABS material which is very easy to clean. The machine comes with an ice scoop, a removable ice basket and an instruction manual. The machine is very simple to use by adding water to the 1.5 litre tank up to the max fill line, pressing on and letting the machine make the ice — it really is as simple as that. When you first switch the machine on the ice cubes can be a bit smaller (it does warn you about this in the manual) but after a period of time I found that the ice cubes became a good size and much more uniform too.
The machine has the capacity to make 9 bullet shaped ice cubes every 6-9 minutes and can make up to 12kg of ice over a 24-hour period. The machine makes a relatively low amount of noise and the only button is the on/off power button — it is really easy to operate. It has a smart control panel with indicators to show when the ice is being made, when the ice basket is full (via an infrared detection) and when you need to add water into the water tank. It is worth mentioning that the manual does say to use spring water but I just used tap water and this worked perfectly — it does say not to use distilled water. The ice maker has a large clear lid so you can easily monitor how much ice it has produced.
There is a drainage plug which makes it easy to drain off any excess water to maintain cleanliness and the water tank also has a water filter so particles don’t accidently get into your ice. It has a heat exhaust cooling system (again like a normal freezer system) so you must ensure that there is enough room around the machine to provide adequate ventilation so it does not overheat meaning pressure on the compressor. The machine itself is well insulated which means that the ice cubes are kept cool.
Priced at 99.98 with an additional 15 off voucher valid until the 26th March 2023 at the time of reviewing, this is an incredibly useful machine. It will be perfect for BBQs and parties and even just making up a bulk of ice to store in the freezer (saving any accidentally spilled water). This will be used by us a lot in the summer months and I would definitely recommend it!

This is just perfect for nights with the girls having drinks. This ice maker is so simple and easy to use, just add water, press the on button and they are done in no time.

This also has a window which allows you to see when the ice is done which is helpful for me, once the ice is done it is actually a decent size so you only need a couple for your drink, which leaves plenty to go around. Even though it doesn’t take a long time to produce the ice cubes, one time in making these will last you a fair good while during the day or night.
I am really impressed with this now so I can’t wait to use in the summer.

This is a great counter top ice maker. It is the compact size, conveniently sits on our counter next to our fridge. It is easy to use and makes ice quickly. Just pour water at the max and it goes to work immediately making ice cubes. It makes ice and fills the basket quickly. I am in love with my ice machine.
Unfortunately our fridge is relatively basic and it doesn’t have an inbuilt icemaker I really love having to buy the bags of ice as it is always stuck together and also is a pain to constantly get in and out the freezer and invariably get left out of the freezer when you are using a lot and turns into mush! This countertop icemaker completely removed that problem and it’s great for parties or barbecues et cetera where you would want access to a lot of ice relatively quickly. The machine itself will produce more than enough ice for 10 to 20 people to constantly be taking fresh ice as it produces more every seven minutes or so if you start with a full basket and leave it on you will not have an issue. It’s relatively easy to clean and top up with water.
