My newborn often struggles to latch as my nipples are quite flat. In a few seconds, this product temporarily makes them more sticky outy and she latches immediately. Using it at the beginning of feeding is fine but I often have to use it again during feeding and that’s when it gets messy – it quickly sucks up milk and then immediately releases it when you take it off, so I sometimes end up with milk all over my boob and my baby’s face. I wish there was some way to avoid this as it makes me not want to use it.
Very very good product. Very effective against nipple crack. Quality produc
I found that this helped when my breasts were engorged at the beginning of breastfeeding. I could use it to get a better latch and it helped with the initial let down of milk which is sometimes sore.
Helps with flatter nipple. But causes milk to come out and can be quite messy. I find that if you put a breast shield for about 15 minutes before nursing, it helps draw out the nipple and collects some leakage without causing a mess.
They do work although a light suction but something else I had with a stronger suction hurt so I guess this is bette
Simple but effective. Bit painful at first but really does the trick.
This is an amazing piece of kit for all mums struggling at the start of their breastfeeding journey. I used to use this to draw the nipple out to make attaching nipple shields easier, then after a few weeks I used to use it to make sure she could latch to me easier. In less than 5 weeks we went from not able to breastfeed at all to latching and feeding. This tool was a little life saver.
Quite easy to use. Not sure how well it worked though as I was probably too close to the end of my breastfeeding journey by the time I used this product. Would recommend for use at the very beginning of latch issues…
Dont hesitate,, buy this and it could save you zo many tears. My milk cane in andmy nipple was far too flat and my girl has a tongue tie as well. This achieves a latch within a minute and keeps her and me happy.
This product saved my life – I only used I for 2 days in the end but was struggling to breastfeed with on flat and one slightly inverted nipple. A couple of pumps on this and she was straight on!!
So much easier that cracking out a breast pump like the midwives and HVs tell you to do and better than using nipple shields. I also bought and used breast shells to draw out my nipples at the same time. Both miracle products I wish I’d have had for my 1st born!
Great concept and it does run the nipple out.
I bought this because my nipples are a bit flat sometimes (from wearing a bra which flattens them a bit) and I thought I’d help my baby out by bringing the nipples out for him to find them easily. He sometimes does not seal properly and swallows some air, so I thought this may solve the problem. Whilst this definitely helps bringing the nipples out, it hasn’t necessarily solv d the problem of him not always being properly sealed on my breast, but I realised that this is due to the angle form which he latches on (sometimes he’s a bit stretched which means he can’t properly catch the whole nipple area) so I can’t blame it on there product.
The reason why I did not give 5 stars is because there are 2 sizes to use depending on your nipples size – I use the bigger one and I wouldn’t really say that my nipples are huge but that still felt an it small, so I wonder if that would work with someone with really large nipples.
