Brought for as a gift for my brothers 16th, he loves it and chose to build the spaceperson to go along side his lego spaceship model. Added a nice, cute little touch to his collection. It’s lego so good quality, looks nice and is what it is.
Complete these models with my son who is 4 and this I’d a great model if they’re interested in space.
Not a huge model so it was easier for him to follow with support and put together a great looking model
This is a great small set for children who can quite sit through larger builds. The instructions are simple and easy to follow and the quality like always with LEGO is fantastic. Would recommend!
I ordered this for my 7-year-old grandson who loves Lego. He was absolutely thrilled and spent the rest of my visit putting it together. It is a 3-in-1 set in a strong box. He is so committed to building with Lego that he built each option one by one. This revealed that each different build left a few pieces unused unlike more expensive sets which generally use all available pieces in any of multiple variations. As he seems to be quite obsessive, however, I know he will keep the pieces carefully in the original box.
The set is inexpensive, 8.99 at the time of writing, probably because it is not large but still well designed with the three build options.
eally easy to assemble! if you want a challenge this isn’t it – however was lots of fun to create the desgins the rocket ship is by far my favourite
As a fan of lego for four decades, I saw this set and just thought it looked great; one of those sets where the designer just managed to nail the look without needing a million pieces.
The satellite payload and Canadarm fold fully into the cargo bay and the doors can close, which is a lovely touch. When built the set also has a surprising heft to it.
I wish the nose shape was slightly more accurate, but overall this is one of the best-designed sets I’ve seen for a while and at a beautifully low price. Recommended!
As lego goes this is as expected as far as quality and clear of instructions. Lego always has a high quality standard and this product is no exception. Building was simple quick and easy following instructions. For the price is well worth i
This was a great quick and easy Lego build which was fun and enjoyable. After building the rocket ship myself we then broke it up and my 6 and 8 year old sons had a go at building the other 3 in 1 options of the space man and other space shuttle type build. They had no difficulties at all and also both found it enjoyable and easy going. Already owning a lot of the Lego space sets (Lego city, I believe) this rocket could possibly then be used to go alongside these sets but personally for me the scale is a little off so would be best displayed or broken down to be rebuilt into the different sets as and when as an activity for your little Lego builders. When we have creator sets we then add them to our bulk Lego after the builds which is another great way to get more play opportunities out of the sets. Priced really well this would make a great present for a friends birthday party, stocking filler or starter set to get pique a child’s interest into the amazing world of Lego building! The set is fairly small and I also think would work well as something to keep them entertained on a long journey, for example if going on a plane etc. lots of possibilities and lots of fun! We loved it.
This 3-in-1 LEGO Creator set comes attractively boxed, as I would expect from LEGO. It’s a fairly small set at 144 pieces but that’s reflected in the price.
The set provides for the construction of three models, albeit only one at a time – a space shuttle (with satellite), astronaut (with flag) and spaceship. Clear instructions are provided for all three and there’s also app support. I was worried the models would be quite small but they are a decent size, and with moveable parts.
I did think it was a little bit of a shame however that pieces were left over rather than each model ingeniously using every piece. My nephew is 6 and while he had no trouble making the models (aside from needing a little help with disassembly) he’s unlikely to keep the spare pieces separated from the rest of his LEGO for long. But ultimately that’s what happens to all LEGO so it’s not a big deal. The space shuttle was his clear favourite after he made all three so that’s the configuration he’s keeping it in for now.
Overall this is a good value set that has extra value in providing multiple creations from the same set of bricks. Excellent.
This 3-in-1 Lego kit is fantastic and I can’t believe it’s only 8.99 (at the time of review).
You get three instruction booklets in the kit so you can choose which model to make: space shuttle, spaceship or astronaut. They’re all fantastic models and they are larger than I expected with the astronaut standing 11cm high, the spaceship measuring 13cm long and 13cm wide, and the shuttle being 16cm long and 13cm wide.
The instructions are excellent and you can also download the Lego app if you need any further help. The models are quick and easy to build, giving you hours of entertainment as you assemble and disassemble your models.
I’m very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this fantastic kit – it’s out of this world!
My (now adult) son has always been a huge Lego fan and now enjoys building the adult sets and the Technic range but I often get him these throwbacks to his childhood because they are still fun to build and a way to relax and de-stress !!
This 3-in-1 Creator set is such a great range because of getting 3 different builds from one set of bricks and at the current price of just 8.99 it’s tremendous value!!
There are three separate instruction books for each build and bear in mind that not all of the builds use up the entire set of bricks so you need to keep safe the unused bricks from one build, to use later with the next build.
Nice details in all three builds, thoroughly enjoyable, at recommended 6+ a six-yr old would definitely be able to tackle this but might need some supervision along the way. We were thinking that the one issue might be that in terms of playability a child would end up wanting to have both the astronaut and one of the ships at the same time to actually interact with in play, so maybe buy two of the sets?
Firstly, I’m a massive Lego fan, so I think most sets are great, but I think the 3 in 1 creator collections are especially awesome.
They offer the opportunity to build 3 different creations from the same pieces (one at a time), a space shuttle, spaceship or astronaut.
This is a smallish Lego set, with 144 pieces it’s about the average piece count for sets of this price point. At 8.99 it’s a great stocking filler or pocket money set.
There is an individual instruction booklet for each build, which are clear and easy to follow.
The pieces are made from good quality solid plastic and fit together perfectly.
My 6 year old nephew built the spaceship and had no problems putting it together on his own (he has been playing with regular Lego for several years though!). Other 6 year olds may find it a bit challenging and require a little assistance. He absolutely loved the build and enjoyed opening the spaceship to move the satellite arm. Lots of playability for such a small set. Great value for money.
Another super Lego set to add to the collection!
This 3-in-1 Lego set is such an ingenious idea! Obviously, as it’s Lego, the quality is without question, and there’s a good number of pieces within the kit, considering its size. The original build is a space shuttle and there’s enough detail there to be instantly recognisable as one. There is a further interactive element, as there are hatch doors that open to reveal a satellite, which can be removed and set up separately. The second build is an astronaut, that as some poseable features, a flag and a jet pack. The third build is a spaceship with moveable wings, which is good, but similar to the shuttle in some ways.
All of the items are easy to build and quite quick, with the usual excellent instructions. Some of the small pieces are difficult to separate when you’re breaking the items down, and we did have to help our friend’s son, who was playing with this, with a couple of tricky bits. Each build is a nice size and easy to play with, but our friend’s son wanted all three items to play with at the same time, so that could be something to bear in mind if you’re buying it as a gift. There is an additional factor of not all of the items use all of the pieces, so if you want to keep say the astronaut as a figure, you need to have somewhere safe to keep the additional pieces.
At the time of writing this review, the cost is 8.99, and it’s worth every penny. Happy to recommended.
The Lego Creator sets are always a lot of fun, as with one set you get an ability to build 3 different models.
The box comes with 3 separate instruction manuals for each of the possible builds and 2 bags of pieces.
+ The instructions are quick and easy to follow;
+ Pieces are made well, but expect to have some small difficult disassembling the models, as some smaller parts require LEGO Brick Separator for easier separating (but if you’re not new to LEGO, you probably might have one already)
