LEGO has long been a staple in the world of toys, offering more than just a simple building block set. This product was testing for him but excellent also as this keeps his mind ticking and learning just where we want it.
Got this for my 5 year olds birthday, it was quick and easy to build, keeping my son focused and interested nearly until it was finished. He is having great fun playing.
I bought the LEGO City Electric Sports Car Toy as a gift, and it was awesome! The sleek design and bright colors make it look super cool. My 4 year old grandson loved his new Lego. He managed to build it himself with a little help from his Dad, who confirmed if he had the right piece (the right way round etc) I would definitely recommend.
Wanted a little gift for my nephew, but didn’t want to break the bank. How wonderful this is! He’s really into EV and helping the environment. So he enjoyed making a Lego set like this!
My 6 year old grandson loved helping me make this kit. He isn’t confident in building kits independently but helped me and was engaged. Once the car was built he played with it and took it to his bedroom and displayed it. Great set for any car/lego fans.
Whilst the piece count of this set is obviously fairly small, it does capture a very unique shape and design. Playability is very good as the model is well constructed and surprisingly resistant. Overall it’s a very good set for your money.
So as above, the one I bought didn’t come in a box. Amazon sticker on the front and ripped the Lego box as I removed it. Bought as a present for my sons classmates birthday. Not ideal.
This is a lovely Lego car aimed at kids aged 5+, this due to the small parts/pieces of Lego that the set contains. It contains very few parts and can be put together in a matter of minutes. Once assembled, it really does look as good as it shows in the product picture. Also, once assembled, it feels very sturdy, so there’s little worry of it falling apart with ease.

Small and simple Lego set that we enjoyed putting together. There’s nothing complicated about it, and it didn’t take long to put together. The car looks good. A nice, simple Lego set that reflects contemporary trends and is ideal as a little stocking filler or a fairly low price gift for kids that like Lego and cars! The figure and the charging unit is quite a nice design touch.
Got to be the smallest and cheapest Lego kit I’ve seen. It’s actually really good value though.
It makes a great ‘well done’ gift for a child rather than the full blown behemoth kits for a birthday/Christmas. Well suited to 5+ as it suggests. Kept a 7 year old happy for an hour or so and he then integrated it into the rest of his Lego creation. Can’t ask for more.
This is a great little set for any car mad lego fan. We love Lego in our family and my son loves cars also so this set was a no brainer. It’s a nice sized small set, ideal for a small gift or stocking filler. It makes a fairly simple small car. It’s an ‘ electric car’ theme so on trend and up to date. I’d say the price is right at 8.99 it took less than an hour to build. My son had dismantled and turned it into something else, before I could take a photo, so I need to rebuild it again and will upload a photo! A good small set!
Lego its always a winner of toys. My kids absolutely love to play ( also I and my husband too). You can make colourful and unique toys. Perfect for creations. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Comes in the box.
Perfect gift for any kid!
This was a really fun budget Lego set to put together. It didn’t take very long but still looks fairly impressive once complete. Looks realistic which I think younger people will enjoy for playtime and make believe playing.
I think it’s a lovely entry toy if you’ve not played with Lego before, love cars and want to get into it. Could be a great stepping stone onto more complex sets in the future for them x
I really like this set and yes, whilst it’s not complex and doesn’t take too long to build, it’s a nice build and the EV vehicle looks better than some EV’s on the road today!! 🙂

This an excellent Lego sports car which looks good when built. It’s only a small set, so it’s ideal for kids looking to build their first LEGO model. My nephew has only recently swapped over to LEGO from his DUPLO stuff, and some of the sets have proven too tricky. He had this assembled in less than 15 mins and is impressed with it.

The price of this set ( 8.99 at the time of writing the review) is great for the number of bricks that are coming with it. I absolutely love the colours scheme on the sports car and my child enjoys pretending to charge his car up, like daddy does with our car.
In my opinion the minifigure should be able to sit up straight in the car, but, unfortunately, if you sit the driver up straight you cannot but the top of the car on. This could have been easily fixed if the design had a half-brick height added to it.
Another little minus for me is that the top of the car is in two parts that needs to be taken off to get the minifigure out. Obviously, this has the potential for missing pieces, especially for little kids.
Overall, I love Lego and I like this set, but I can see a bit of room for improvement.
Comes in nicely packed, all product manuals are very clear and instructions were easy to follow by my kid.
Brick quality was excellent, really is what you expect from Lego, nice and vibrant colours and a very good assembled product.
This lego car was grwat fun for my 8 year old to put together, he found the instruction booklet easy to follow using the diagrams on each page and enjoyed builign and then of course playing with the car, the parts stay tohmgwther well once in place, I like that it comes with a little fuel pump, a nice little set, I would recommend
Small set, not too complex to build so kids can easily follow on their own. You get all the pieces in bags identified with numbers and you get all the step by step guide with images to make the process even easier. Everything was thought of.
The car is really cool, small and moves perfectly. Great playtime while building and afterwards. Great addition for a Lego city collection.

This is a really quick and fun set to build highlighting a new hybrid super car with driver mini figure and electric charging station. Perfect for a younger LEGO build and satisfying for an experienced one, this set is very easy to build thanks to great instructions and as you slowly start to see the form of the car take shape, a great experience to build for what I feel is a reasonable price for this size of LEGO set. It looks great when finished, fun to build…all you can expect from a LEGO Set.
Lego is such a great thing to play with for both young and old. This is a set of a city electric sports car Toy, for ages 5 and upwards. It is a great toy to build and then to play with afterwards. The lego comes in 3 separate bags with clear instructions on how to build. As you would expect from lego this is packaged well, and very well made. Great for lego fans young and old. This is such a great set that is currently priced at 8.99 which I think is reasonable. Would make a great present.

Well, when I saw this item for the price of 8.99 I wasn’t sold at all. Even though it was official LEGO brand, I expected very few pieces, or a really poor looking model once built but either way, I’m partial to a bit of model building, whether simple, advanced or somewhere in between so I clicked order and boy was I wrong.
Firstly the item comes, like other products from this brand, in a professional quality box with a convenient perforated tab to open it. On the box, as always are the pictures of the set once fully assembled so you can can easily tell what to expect once you’re finished.
On the inside, there are 3 plastic packages with pieces inside and a few bigger pieces loose. Also included, obviously, was the instruction manual so know which piece goes where.
I emptied the bags out, and sorted them to colour because I’m cool like that, then I was ready to get started. The whole thing didn’t take me long at all, maybe 15 minutes, give or take a few, but that’s to be expected of a smaller, cheaper model such as this.
I was impressed with how easy to read the majority of the manual was, with clear instructions on the pieces and where they should be placed. I suppose they could be even more detailed, but for this price and the complexity level of the model, I don’t think it was necessary. They were to the point and as you would expect for this model.
Each step was broken down into just a few pieces each so it was clear to see where each piece went for that step. Very quickly the model started to take shape and before I knew it, it was completed.
As expected with official LEGO products, the blocks are made to a high standard and fit together just right. Not too tight where it’s a struggle to get them on, and not too loose that they fall apart with slight movements. Just perfect.
I will also say, that my opinion of some of these smaller builds, as evident the start of this review, has usually been on the negative end before trying them. However, based solely on this one, I’m actually pleasantly surprised at how good the final model looked in person, even compared to the box art.
