My son absolutely loves this build. He loved putting it together and really likes that it’s a bigger set. I paid 18 for this set and would highly recommend this set for gifting or buying if your into these sorts of Lego sets.
    It looks grea

This arrives in a lovely looking LEGO box measuring approx 26.5cm x 19cm x 6cm.

It would be easy to wrap & although the model only has 297 pieces, the box makes it look like a decent size present.
The model inside feels like a decent gift too & is simple enough most 8 year olds should be able to build it independently.

Inside the box, you get the usual instruction leaflet with clear steps & 3 bags of parts.
It’s a fairly simple model to put together & once built Venom is about 23cm tall.
I LOVE the fact that there are no stickers involved (I can never get them just right), so all the parts you see are printed.

I love LEGO, as do my kids & we have a lot all over the house.
The articulated figures are always a big hit with kids as they are so versatile.

You can pose them in various ways if you like to display them, they are great if you like to make stop motion LEGO movies as you can move them without having to rebuild so often to get your shots & of course, you can just play with them.

If you ever get tired of Venom, as ever the pieces can be used to rebuild into a model of your own, or mixed with other LEGO so you can create anything you can imagine.

We also have the Spiderman figure & are looking out for Miles Morales.
    All highly recommended.

Venom LEGO Model for ages 8+. As expected from LEGO, it’s a really well designed kit which has a great end result. It took around 40-50 minutes to build by following the step by step guide which is informative and easy to follow. It has 297 pieces of varying sizes and was a fun challenge to assemble.

I really like the various collaborations which LEGO do and this is one of my favourites. My son is a huge Marvel fan and loves this figure. This range also has Spiderman and Miles Morales figures which can be purchased separately. This Venom figure is 23cm tall and the jointed legs, arms and head mean it can be moved around like a standard action figure. The design offers a lot of customisation and is great for either play or display.

I think it’s reasonably priced at 24.99 at time of review. It’s a really high quality figure and the LEGO design team have obviously put a lot of thought into it. This would make an ideal gift for any Marvel fan and I’d happily recommend it. 5 stars from me!

This is the first time that I have come across these models from Lego. In this range, Lego have created articulated figurine models. These specific models are from their new Marvel Spiderman range. This particular model is of Spiderman’s main antagonist from Spiderman 3.

Once constructed, the figure is fully poseable and there is a lot of articulation throughout the body. There are ball joints on the knees and ratchet joints on the hips to provide structural integrity. This works well and the figure doesn’t flop around when stood up. There is a pivot point on the waist which uses a ball joint. The shoulders are ball joints as well. The elbows are hinged. The jaw and the neck are adjustable. The claws on the hands look great and can be opened or closed to grab things.

The size / brick count / price ratio is amazing. With venom, you get 297 pieces, stands over 23cm tall and for only 24.99. I would say this this is a great price for what you are getting.

There are grey couplings and red axles in some of the joints, which takes away somewhat from the black look of the character. Depending upon the positioning of the figure, you can sometimes see little flashes of red from the axle joints. Not in any way a deal breaker though as Venom still manages to look menacing enough. The teeth and the markings on the front and back of the torso are printed on the Lego brick rather than being stickers. The red tongue looks great. It can be removed and the jaw closed if you wish.

5.0 out of 5 stars An interesting offering from Lego
