A energy rating on Amazon and a F energy rating in the instructions Disappointing
This product works well and is bright enough fora dusk till dawn outside light. The only thing was a piece had broken off in the light not detrimental to the light working but didn’t. have time to send back it was urgently needed, so stuck the broken piece back on..
I’ve bought three of these lights, One for the front side of my house, one for the kitchen extension and the third for the rear of the house.
They are very bright (much to the annoyance of one of my neighbours). I won’t be changing them any time soon though as they are certainly a good deterrent against possible intruders.
I can thoroughly recommend these lights, worth every penny.

Wow!!!! Totally amazed at how bright this outdoor light is!! It is totally amazing!!!! Extremely bright to light up my outside space. I am over the moon with my purchase – it exceeded all my expectations because – and get this!!! It does not have a bulb – in other words there is no having to change the bulb when it goes on you!!! It has something else inside the wall light that is not a bulb and therefore there is no worry about having to change the light bulb!! How amazing is that!!! YES!! I would DEFINITELY buy another one from this amazon seller and I would DEFINITELY recommend them!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful outdoor, dusk till dawn light!! Works very well has been installed a week or two. Very bright, better than expected. Would be useful to have a way of adjusting the trigger point of coming on and off , but that would make it more expensive and more complicated
I bought 2 around 5 years ago and am only now having to replace one. I dont really use the PIR as the light is almost too bright for my neighbours if its left on. When on it does light up the garden and alleyway really well. Overall a great light.
Really great little light! I was a bit worried it might be too bright after reading the reviews but it is a nice warm light and perfect for the back door and doesn’t light up the whole neighbourhood! The person who fitted it had to use one of very helpful reviews to aid installation and as it was a bit tricky I have only given it four stars. However, the light itself, once installed, is good and well worth the money.
Instructions could be better on how to remove front to access connections and replace front when connections completed.

Would be Great if you could purchase the Clear Plastic shades to fit the light as after a year of outside use, the plastic goes yellow/green. Will not clean off. Needs to be replaced.
This is the second of these units that I have purchased, but as expected they have the same problem as all external light fittings with clear plastic diffusers; they start yellowing after approximately 12 months! Glass is the only real answer.
Very pleased with this light. It’s not so sensitive to daylight so it switches on and off at the right time.
Bright enough to light up a decent area but not too bright to annoy the neighbours
used to replace an existing security light so all wiring etc there. Was somewhat concerned about photo switching as does not come on until fairly dark – don’t know when it goes out. Light output is considerably more that the 9W CFL it replaced.
have already got one of these lights. And it works brilliantly been on my front porch for 2YRS. Comes on at night turns off in the morning. Bought another for my backway.
Arrived in good time ..the wrong instructions were in the box..BUT really easy to work out how to fix and get working. Brilliant white light and lights up the whole back garden..reaches approx 30ft…well impressed
I fitted a further two of these lamps in 2017 and thought I wouldn’t complete a review at the time until I could report on the reliability- particularly as these have fixed, irreplaceable LED’s so, if it fails the whole unit needs to be replaced . Initial results were surprising- very bright considering an apparent 7W consumption…….
Reliability is, therefore, a key factor given that, unlike units with a replaceable LED bulb ( and, by the way, to get a 100w equipment uses around double the 7w specified here) replacing the whole unit would cost around 5 times the price of a bulb and avoids all the hassle ( more on this later) of removing and rewiring.
So, after two years the first unit failed. It was clearly the sensor as it remained on all day. I overcame that by installing a timer but the whole unit failed shortly after. The other unit is still functioning.
Yes, the units are good value and provide excellent brightness but, if you need to replace a unit after a few years ( bearing in mind they no where near meet the expected lifespan) then it’s both uneconomic and unnecessary waste.
Design – the cover isn’t easy to remove but, fortunately, both units had the cover partially open on one side so relatively easy to remove.
– moving the terminal block out of its locating pins makes connecting up much easier.
– the wiring instructions, as others have said were, at the time of purchase, incorrect. There was no earth and the terminal is marked L and N so connect up to these and not follow the instructions.
– make sure you test the unit with say a black plastic bag over the sensor before putting the cover on. Otherwise it’s not easy to remove – a good thing as it should make the seal waterproof.
Overall a good light but it’s replacement will have a LED bulb.
Arrived early. Simple instructions and good light.
One star off as sensitivity cannot be adjusted. In current winter conditions comes on much of the day, although I fitted a switch in anticipation of this.
