I have combination skin and find most foundations start to shine and become greasy . The L’Oral Infallible Matt has excellent coverage, and stays Matt all day. Easy to apply with a foundation brush. I will definitely purchase again.
L’Oral changed their infallible foundation and I couldn’t find the original anywhere so I was delighted to find it on Amazon, its half the price I normally pay for exactly the same foundation. Delivered on time.
I’ve been struggling to find a foundation that works and doesn’t cost a lot. This is my new favourite! It covers well, looks nice and stays on all day. It doesn’t feel heavy like others do that I’ve used, I would not probably recommend if you have dry skin though as it is quite drying, but that works for me! Will be buying again!
I think it’s good for oily /combination skin. Coverage is fairly light, which I like, but can be built up. Lasts well with finishing powder.
Great texture and for my combination skin works well obviously with any foundation I have to moisturiser dry areas I use huda foundation aswell and I wouldn’t say it was any less better then that. Defo full coverage and less is more you don’t need to much. Great price
i have very oily skin and finding a good matte foundation is hard. this foundation is good and is matte however even if you have baked you will find oil seeping through very quickly. it definitely doesn’t live up to its name but it’s still good for the price and has good coverage
My only issue is that this, like most foundations, creases markably in the under eye area. I am in my mid 40s so this is to be expected, but this lighter shade seems to be more obvious. I occasionally mix this shade with the next shade up to give a more natural finish in the summer if I have a slight tan. For the price however, this is a good foundation that I would recommend to anyone who needs full coverage to last throughout a working day, or a hot and steamy night out.
I buy this as a cheaper alternative to EL’s DW foundation. (Using initials so as not to upset the copyright police.)
It’s a third of the price. It’s not quite up to DW’s standard, but it’s pretty close.
On days when I want to wear make up, but not doing anything to warrant wearing the really expensive stuff, I use this.
The staying power is good, especially for my oily / combo skin. (I would suggest using the hydrating version for dry complexions.)
It could easily get cakey, so start light and build up coverage. Don’t over-apply straight away. Also, I make sure to have done a good skincare routine first.
I’m fair with pink undertones, and the shade I use is a good match. I can’t speak as to the range for darker complexions or other undertones.
