I have a few of these dotted around my house and they really good, easy to install and they provide a nice spread of light.
They have a built in timer of 20sec then it goes to the dim setting but with movement it turns back to the bright setting, you can however select which setting you want to use so read the instructions provided to determine which setting you want to use them.
I would also suggest when you first get them to sit them out in direct sunlight for a few hours to charge the battery then install and enjoy.
Works perfectly, not so good to leave on over night in the UK as we don’t get enough sun to get the light working all night during winter. But that’s to be expected unless you have a few marbles loose in the head.
So as a light detector that comes on for about 20 seconds when triggered it is perfect and the light is bright.
Works great able to light a dark area inside while it’s being charged in the sunlights
