Had been given this as a gift for LOs first bday, so repaid the favour when friends LO turned 1. Very annoying and noisy but LOs love it and find it great fun….. Husband got very caught up playing it too
No volume button so quite loud and high pitch. My little girls enjoys running up and down on it but it’s very loud could do with a volumn button and the off and on button is easily caught.
It wasnt for myself but im told by my little niece its great for annoying her mother. Mission achieved, jk perfect for little kids and the choice of instruments is great.
My youngest Grandchild seems to be getting the most use from this but it seems to be affecting his earing because his parents tell me he can’t/won’t hear requests or orders offered to him, I think he’s having too much fun so for that I would highly recommend.
I love this product. Was a little worried it might not be good quality or require pushing hard on the mat to get the sound but it is touch sensitive and fabulous. Also has volume control which my OH loves. My one year old doesn’t walk yet but loves using his hands to make the noises happen. Perfect to keep your little one satisfied for an hour or so
My grandchild loves music and this is an excellent cause and effect toy as well as a musical one, as she grows she will learn colours, numbers and even simple keyboard . Delighted with it and a great price too.
My 2 year old daughter loved it. It can get really loud but you can control the volume with a – sign. Perfect gift for those ones who likes music and be noisy
For the price it’s a great item it plays music only two problems occasionally one of the instruments doesn’t work and sometimes it needs to be switched off but it works very good for a brilliant price very satisfied
Grandson and his baby sister absolutely loved this. An adventure every time that you walk upon the keys – or in his case, running down the keys! The sounds made are varied and musical and they really enjoy making their music. Have not seen all the different things used but it was certainly a real hit. Looks quite durable too and easy to clean. Batteries are put in and removed by screwdriver so little hands cannot access them. Very good buy.
What a fantastic piece of kit. My 2 Yr old grandson absolutely loved it. It does exactly as described. Animal noises. Duck not a duck lol. Then press foot for real piano. Advise. Don’t show kids where the volume is. Grandson still not found it yet. Fits back in bag. Recommend
After a tentative first few goes on the mat when our grandson wasn’t sure what to make of it, he soon worked out what it would do and he loved it. He sat on it, played it with his feet, slid across it, whacked it with anything to hand and ran backwards and forwards on it. It all made for much discordant sound but, what the heck, when he was having so much fun. We haven’t had any safety issues to date. It is possible to turn down the volume (until your child learns how to turn it back up!) Grown ups, you just have to hope the batteries run out soon (but they have lasted well until now!)
Definitely worth the money as it amuses my little grandchildren immensely. They love it. It plays in tune as well provided you hit the right notes. Volume is good, stays on what setting you put it on. Would recommend it.

I only have one minor problem with it, the black keyes aren’t according to a piano.
A bit bugger issue is that it’s quite slipery, and the back could use some rubber bands to help it stick to the floor a bit better. Don’t place it around sharp furniture.
we bought this item in the black Friday deal as Christmas gifts for 2 of our great granddaughters. when they came we were so pleased with them that we ordered more even though the lightning deal price was over. our own grandchildren may not be pleased with the noise after lunch on Christmas day but our great granddaughters will be delighted. a good buy & don’t forget the batteries.
Our 2yo grandson adores his musical mat and has endless fun. We bought the largest size and that was the right decision. It arrived neatly packaged, it’s easy to clean and it folds away neatly.
The only word of warning is that it is very slippery on a polished floor of any kind. To be fair, that is mentioned in the listing. On a carpeted surface, it’s fine.

My son couldn’t wait to use this mat it’s colourful and fun. He’s been trying to play nursery rhymes and it’s been great to see him enjoy it. I think it would be useful to have pads on the bottom to keep it in place to stop it from sliding. All in all a nice toy for young music fans!
