My partner is a right fidget, tapping, shaking his legs, fiddling with items. This infinity cube keeps him relaxed and less fidgety. It moves very smoothly and the shapes it makes seem endless. Lovely little galaxy and stars design.
These things are like stress relievers, my 8 year old loves them to keep her hands busy and often keeps it with her. I’ve had many goes and they are very addictive, the clicking of the blocks moving is satisfying, they have a little weight to them and they will fall with their own weight a little to help the smooth transition. The galaxy/nebulae pictures are cool and they are good to look at as well.
Honestly it’s like bubble wrap for me, I don’t really want a go or think about it but if I see it in reach I’ll pick it up and click away for a bit until my daughter takes it away again.
Good stocking filler or add on present.
Tons of fun, I can be played with it for hours with it having two in one sure does add to it as well, love the space theme, live that it keeps you focused for hours at a time! Definitely recommend
I am a little confused by this product — a 2-in-1 space-themed puzzle cube — as in the listing on Amazon.co.uk it says it is suitable for 6-11 year olds (although even in the listing it disagrees which ages this product is most suitable for) but on the box it says 8 years plus. I think the moral of this story is that it depends on the child. I can well imagine that some 6 year old children would find this fascinating and likewise some tweens.
The product arrives in a reasonably attractive cardboard box that is suitable for gifting. Inside the box are two cubes: a star cube and a galaxy cube (which includes Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Earth, Moon and Venus). The cubes can be unfolded to create new shapes and you can combine them together as well.
The plastic is a little flimsy, but considering it is recommended for 8 years plus then it seems fit for purpose. With a younger child, it might however be an issue as it’s possible it would not withstand continuous heavy handling.
Priced at 12.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is a nice stocking filler or small gift for a puzzle and/or space fan, perhaps best suited for an older child but, as I said earlier, it rather depends on the child. The price point is fairly reasonable but I’d prefer for it to be a few pounds under 10.
