MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic Baby Bottles can be sterilised by boiling or in an electric or microwavable steam steriliser; or by using a cold water solution.

Can these bottles reduce colic?
Yes, the MAM Easy Start Bottles have an anti-colic feature. The unique MAM vented base and valve allows the pressure in the bottle to remain neutral so babies are able to drink uninterrupted and swallow in less air bubbles.
What type of plastic are the bottles made of?
MAM baby bottles are made from polypropylene (PP). PP is rigid, tough & strongly heat-resistant. Many items for medical or laboratory use are made from PP. It has good resistance to fatigue & is virtually unbreakable, odourless & skin-friendly.

A very well designed easy start anti-colic baby feeding bottle with a slow flow teat . Easy to use and sterilise in the micro wave and very good value for money .
I have to say that we got first bottle for free on one of the baby events in Manchester and once we had a baby she didn’t want any other bottle so here we are buying more on Amazon 🙂

After a lot of research I decided to give it a go and it didn’t disappoint. My baby accepted it easily. So I bought 2 0+m along with another 2 of the 1+m teats.
Love the mam bottles. Baby has breast and bottle and happily transitions from both with these bottles. So handy you can pop them in the microwave to easily sterilise too
These were recommended by a midwife.
They are perfect for newborn for expressed breastmilk or formula.
The main reason for getting this brand is the ease of sterilisation.
Wash and clean first then follow instructions with 20ml water to sterilisation in the microwave, 3mins for 1, 4mins for 2.
Best bottles for newborns. Evacuates air when using to avoid gas in baby. Nice flow( slow) nipple like. Size small ( just enough) . Very easy to sterilise( you can boil or you need a microwave) .
Bought these as a start for my first baby.
Nothing would 100% prevent colic but this bottle’s design definitely helps.
Love the fact that they are self sterilising so you don’t need anything extra to sterilise anything, just 20ml water, 3 minutes in the microwave and you’re set!
I wish however, that I got the bigger bottles from the start, as these will get obsolete (for formula anyway) pretty quick.
Definitely buy the small one if you want to try it out, we only use these now.
This is the only bottle I have tried for my breastfed baby as it was recommended by his neonatal nurse. He took to the bottle straight away and hasn’t had any nipple confusion.
Its easy to clean and self sterilise. Its also very easy to put together.
I’m unsure if it helps my baby’s reflux as I haven’t tried any other bottles but you can hear the air escaping from the holes at the bottom so it must be helping somewhat.
Over all, cute functional bottle that doesn’t confuse my breastfed baby
It’s s a really good bottle especially for mothers breastfeeding. The teat is comfortable, bottle is anti colic, my baby loves it! I don’t use the microwave for sterilise but cold water sterilisation and it works for me. I highly recommend this bottles and the price is fair.
Our daughter has always been breast fed, we purchased this bottle for my partner to be able to bond with her & do the occasional night feed. She took to it straight away with no issues ever arising over time. Easy to clean and sterilise.
Great bottle, ideal size for our newborn. Easy to clean and Great for when visiting granny & grandad because we can sterilise in their microwave without any extra equipment to pack.
This brand/system works with my baby girl (now 6 weeks old). The dummies are equally good. I will keep buying them. Fast delivery. Easy to clean, sturdy. I would recommend it to all parents. Although I understand each baby is different. Good luck. I have tried other brands and my baby didn’t like them as much. I mean, with this one (MAM) she swallows very small or sometimes zero amount of air. it’s a blessing. Let’s hope we can continue like this.
My baby is nearly 5 months old and took this bottle with my expressed milk in for the first time no problem. I was very worried as my first child didn’t take a bottle till 11 months and tried various bottles (not this one). Will definitely recommend these bottles!
This bottle has been a game changer for me as a busy parent and has saved me so much time and effort with the self-sterilizing function. Plus, it has an anti-colic system that has greatly reduced instances of colic and gas in my little one. And let’s be real, nobody wants a gassy baby.

Our baby girl has a tongue tie and struggled with the flow rate and teat shape of the Tommy Tippee bottles that we bought before birth. We had one of these free from Boots parenting club so gave it a try and much bette, so we’ve now stocked it with another 5.
The self sterilising feature is brill, means we can easily sterilise while at nan and grandads in the microwave. Also prefer the slimmer bottle design, easier to hold than the tommy tippee wider bottle.
I use this for my 3 week old was testing out pumping my breast milk and it worked. Great twat size I don’t like the fact the bottom part of the bottle comes off however it led to a leakage.
Love these bottles! No need for a clumpy steriliser taking up space. They sterilise easily in 3 minutes which means we can do it anywhere.

Assembling the bottle is really not as complicated as other reviews make out and I have never experienced leaks with this bottle (just more bits to wash up). The extra components are well worth it as you can actively see it drawing the air away and my baby gets much less wind then with previous bottles which also helps with the overall experience!
For anybody unsure about the teats.. my baby is now 6 months old and is very happy with the size 0 teat this bottle comes with for the time being. We have brought a variety of bigger sized MAM bottles which come with different flow teats, but have actually ordered additional size 0’s to keep using for now.
This bottle is definitely worth a try if you are experiencing bottle refusal or struggling with getting your little one to accept a bottle, so glad we tried them!
These mam bottles are amazing. My baby did not get along with tommee tippee bottles they was making her choke on the milk as the flow was too fast. I tried these bottles and they are really good my baby gets along with these the flow isn’t too fast for her. I would recommend these bottles. Self sterilisation is very good and easy to sterilise
This is the only bottle my breastfed baby will take, and it has been a godsend. The self sterilising feature is great as I don’t use them that often but it’s super convenient to be able to sterilise one in the microwave
We bought Tommy tippe , nubby and mam bottles for our newborn and she will only use these Mam bottles, super easy to sterilise on the go and at home and come apart for easy cleaning. Have just purchased the larger sizes for her now , definitely recommend as these also help with her gas
