This is a solidly built key safe. It was easy to set the code. I haven’t put mine on the wall as it is in another secure place but it is still doing the job brilliantly.
I bought this a while ago, and it has saved me on at least 3 occasions, once when I was just putting out rubbish and breeze caught the door and I was locked out! Hey presto, the Key Safe saved the day as my phone was inside the house so I couldn’t call anyone for help. Also it saves money now that cutting keys is getting so expensive.
I have used the combination lock style before and found them very fiddly to get the numbers right and the release catch quite a challenge in cold weather. This is so much easier to use and you don’t have to reset the combination each time.
I already have 10 of these boxes so when this arrived and one of the dials to set the code was stiff, I knew it was a slight defect. Replacement arrived within 18 hours. Perfect. Thank you

Wanted a key safe that didn’t have a dial combination lock. Found this & it’s perfect, so easy to use and when you’re finished just close it up & you’re done, no having to remember to turn the wheels (like you do with a dial combination lock) to ensure you don’t leave the code visible to anyone. I’m so happy with it!!
The lock box is great. It does hold water inside it which doesn’t affect the working of the lock but there definitely should be some drainage hole in it as these things are designed for outdoor use.
I selected this for ease of operation and wasn’t disappointed. The push button keys have enough resistance to be able to feel that the keys have been depressed fully. Far easier than trying to rotate tumblers especially in the dark or when weather not great.
Changing the combination is very simple. Overall excellent in all ways.
PACKAGE ARRIVED ‘SECURELY’ PACKAGED, EXTERNALLY LOOKS STURDY, RUGGED UNIT, BUT I WOULD COMMENT THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING/MOUNTING ARE A BIT UNCLEAR/CONFUSING AT FIRST, HOWEVER REASONABLE INTELLIGENCE TELLS YOU HOW TO FIT THIS AND AT LEAT ALL THE INSTALLATION BITS ARE INCLUDED. FITTING/MOUNTING IS RELATIVELY STRAIGHTFORWARD AND OPERATIONAL DETAILS ALTHOUGH SLIGHTLY MORE INVOLVED THAN MANY SIMILAR KEY SAFES ARE EASY TO REMEMBER ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. GOOD, STURDY PRODUCT THAT LOOKS THE PART
Found it hard to put up but I was working in freezing cold with arthritis playing up in right hand and wrist. But once got 2 screws in other 2 were easy as didn’t have to hold unit as well.( Not bad for 63 year old women! )But it’s a great key safe. All mums carers say it’s easy to use .
So having bought a few cheaper devices that ultimately failed in not too much time I bought one of these as it’s a name I trusted ( well heard of at least) . I wasn’t disappointed . Quite a heavy bit of kit , easy to fit. Sturdy feeling buttons and the code is easily changed when needed. Very impressed so far. Only time will tell if it lasts .
Excellent product that is easy to set up and install. Only annoyance is that when replacing key in wall safe you cannot just close up the keypad but have to go through the code sequence again. Unnecessary surely
Purchased so that carers could enter my parents house if the door was not answered. Safe looks well made and has a black rubber cover to protect it from the rain. 4 screws are provided but I decided to use slightly larger ones for greater security. Selecting code numbers is easy however they can be entered in any format, E.g. code 6435 – entering 3456 or 6543 will also open safe door. Apparently though there are still some 4000 combinations bearing this in mind. The other drawback is that the code needs entering again to close the lid.
Surprisingly robust for the price and a doddle to install. Highly recommended although I would prefer the code to remain in sequence; for example, if you desire 1234 to be your code, it will open using 1324 or any other sequence of the same 4 numbers. Otherwise, a great piece of kit.
