I have thick coarse hair which goes frizzy in the rain or humidity. My hairdresser used Matrix products on my hair and I could not believe the difference in the smooth texture of my hair and that in the fine rain my hair did not frizz, a first, therefore I now use Matrix mega sleek shampoo and conditioner as well as this leave in conditioner. It really works as I have had comments from my family as the the sleekness of my afro type hair.
I bought this to try on my hair after washing, hoping it would help me comb through my knotty hair easier and it does! I’ve knocked off one star, only because I’d like to say it has a gorgeous smell! It’s certainly not a horrible smell. Quite fresh but I’ve got a thing about nice smells! The important thing is, it does the job intended. So I would definitely recommend!
strap length. This product is great as a leave in when my hair is curly. It’s also great combined with a gel or another leave in conditioner. The best use for it, for me, is when I blow dry my hair before straightening it with flat irons. I spray this into my hand rather than onto my hair then I smooth it through from root to tip. I use quite a bit, I don’t use it sparingly. Although it’s such a good product I find you don’t always have to use loads. Just use as much as you need to. Then I use a paddle brush and a hairdryer on medium heat to blow out/stretch my curls. A great prep before straightening. It’s a decent heat protectant in my opinion. I can normally spot heat damage straight away after flat ironing if I have used an inferior product. With this I’ve had no damage so far. I will say though, that I don’t straighten my hair too often, just every now and then. If you combine this with a good serum you can prolong a straightened hairstyle for a few days to a week if you maintain hair at night by wrapping it in a silk scarf or putting hair in a high bun with a silk scrunchie. And as I say, it’s still great used on curls as part of a wash and go routine. It seems to tame frizz and define curls when used like a leave in. I wish I’d found this years ago! Makes hair look much healthier. And it smells lovely! It has a coconut smell but not like a cheap coconut cosmetic smell, i think it smells much better than your average coconut scented cosmetics. Love it!

My kids super fine hair turns to knotty dread locks once a day. What used to take me 2 hours to brush out now takes about 20 mins. This stuff is marketed all wrong. It needs to be sold to fed up Mums sick of useless detangling spays that leave the hair stickier. Not this stuff. It is silky and smooth and leaves the hair shiny and soft.
Couldn’t live without this now . My hairdresser recommended it and it’s like a miracle in a bottle for your hair . Leaves hair silky and helps with blow drying . 100% recommend

Best leave in I’ve ever had. Tames very wild hair. Smells beautiful and the shine is just out of this world. I wish they did a day shampoo with this smell. Hit me up if anyone finds the dry shampoo
There’s also a lot less breakage happening, which is allowing my hair to grow. (Meaning that hopefully I’ll be able to grow out these areas soon and get rid of them forever!)
Good product, I put this on after washing my hair and then use my styling products on top,leaves my hair soft and tangle free
If I let my hair air dry it goes slightly curly with frizz. It’s also quite long, down past my bra strap, and I seem to have a lot of hair. I’m 48, but my hair still looks younger, and I think this product is partially why.
When I get out of the shower, I squeeze the excess water out of my hair with a towel and then around five to ten pumps per side of my hair (more if it is in need of a cut and the ends are not in the best shape).
of this stuff through the ends to about 3/4 up my hair (it’s long, past my bra strap). Then I let it get to 75% dry, then I blow dry it with a regular blow dryer to get most of the moisture out. I then go in with more of the spray, again, if my hair is damaged, more, if it’s in a good state less. I go in with the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08C8HKBN1) to style and I get a fantastic blow out.

This makes your hair very easy to brush if you have hair prone to tangling. But I’m sure other cheaper products do this too. I’ve been buying this for about 2 years and the price increase/size decrease won’t stop me from buying it at this stage but if it may if it happens again in future
Having used it myself I don’t know how I managed before. My hair is thick, long and takes forever to get a paddle brush through to detangle it all, but when first using this I simply glided through. Styling was so much easier and after drying my hair. Only a couple of sprays needed too. It was shiny with less stray hairs sticking up and it also didn’t feel weighted down like conditioner can do to it. It styles really well also if you use straightens and with the heat protect in it too, I feel reassured I’m not damaging my hair further. I use it on my daughters hair too as she has a styled bob haircut which usually dries in every direction it can but the way I want it to, but since using this it styles it beautifully. I use it every time now and can’t recommend it enough. I think the price is fair for the results and will certainly be buying more when I need to.
