This mousse gives my hair (2B waves) really nice textured waves and frizz control! I also like the scent of it, which is always a nice perk for leave-in products.
This mousse holds well without having to use much at all. If you use too much it does make your hair crunchy but with a little it helps with frizz while also helping hold curls all day.
Abituato alla versione classica della vavoom (quella per intenderci dal flacone nero) , mi aspettavo una spuma che avesse caratteristiche pi o meno analoghe alla versione citata. La qualit permane buona, il profumo identico, mentre per quanto riguarda la tenuta differisce abbastanza. Premetto che ho capelli lisci e fini, e ho constatato come l’attuale spuma sia stata concepita badando pi che alla forza della tenuta, a lasciare di fatto il capello meno imbrattato. Capello che effettivamente acquista una lieve corposit senza divenire opaco o grasso.
Onestamente mi aspettavo comunque di meglio. Involuta
I love to put mousse in my wet hair, and then blow dry it. This mousse is a nice product and gives my hair some extra bounce. The container is easy to push down and spray. I would recommend this.
I have wavy hair but I rarely use mousse anymore. I used this Matrix setter mousse on my slightly damp hair. It left my hair soft with less frizz without my hair feeling crunchy. It also left my waves more defined. It has an ok smell but nothing amazing.
I don’t know what I am doing. It does help tame some of my frizz from humidity and I don’t know how to make it “lift” my hair. No offensive scent. Cute bottle.
I using this when I had to touch up my box braids.It works pretty well.I’ve also used it as my Gel when doing my Wash and Go and I works so much better.It has a regular “hair product” smell and the dispenser is easy to use.Oh and it didn’t leave any dried up residue.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I can’t attest to the humidity resistance as we’re in a dry desert state but matrix products are always among my favorites. Lovely scent, nice hold, doesn’t look oily or greasy, and adds shiny and volume to my curls. I’d definitely order it agai
This mousse by Matrix does a good job at adding some body to my baby fine hair without weighing it down. It smells nice too. It washes out easily without leaving residue. Other than having to replace the dispenser which was broken on arrival, I’m pleased with this product.
This Matrix Setter mouse is absolutely beautiful! This is perfect whenever I Curl it! My hair looks and feels great! It is shiny and looks silky! This smells great compared to other hair mouse! It doesn’t make your hair look greasy in any way! Overall I am very impressed and satisfied with this!!
This hair mousse is amazing. I absolutely love it. It smells really good. It didn’t make my hair feel crunchy at all. I like that you can use this on damp or dry hair. It helped me style my wavy/curly hair. I feel like it definitely added some volume to my hair when used in combination with my blow dryer. I would highly recommend this!
his is the first time I have used this product and it does miracles. I will never run out of it. Just went on a cruise and it was lifesaver to get my hair ready for the day.
This Matrix setter mousse works really well on my hair! My hair is so flat, so I always need to use something for volume. This mousse gave my hair texture, volume, and body! It really helped to keep my frizz away throughout the day, even in the rain! After I applied this and styled my hair, it was so soft, shiny, and smooth! It also has a very nice scent.
I have been so excited to try this Matrix Setter Mousse and boy did it perform! After showering I spayed one ball into my hands and spread it through my hair moving as I went from ends to roots. Usually any other mousse I have to do this twice but with this mousse after the first pass it felt good and like no more was needed. By good I mean it felt soft and moisturized but still like it had more control and less chance of frizz. As my hair dryer that is exactly what I got. Soft, neat curls. No frizz and no crunch from it setting too hard. I love this stuff and am so glad to have a better way to style my hair on humid days. You won’t regret this purchase!
I have long, curly hair and this helps give me some curl and frizz control without being too crunchy and it’s not greasy or wet looking. It currently says unscented on the product page but it has a light, pleasant scent to it. Nothing that lingers strong enough to bother me.
As someone with fine and flat wavy hair, I struggle to achieve volume and lift, but this mousse delivered decent results. Perfect amount of body and lift without weighing down my hair, added shine and helped control frizz and kept my hairstyle intact throughout the day.

I really only ever put mousse in my hair to style it.
Usually it is one specifc for curly hair to help add spring to my curls.
Had no clue what to expect with a “setter” type product.
It is so light and airy but still holds my hair.
Does not weigh it down at all.
Also does not make it sticky or hard either.
This is just so nice on my hair and does a fantastic job of making my curls look full and springy.
It says unscented but there is some kind of scent to it. Not anything that bothers my allergies and is rather pleasant.
I’ve heard great things about Matrix so was excited to try this out!!
I have naturally frizzy/wavy hair. Most of the times straighten it, other times (especially during the summer), I do it curly. I’m always looking for new products to help reduce the frizz when I do my hair curly and this really helps a lot! Isn’t crunchy at all but holds my curls and definitely reduced the frizz.
I do not use product like this on my hair when I straighten it, so I’m not sure how well it works on straight hair. But I would think it would work just as well!
This mousse gives a nice hold. The spout to have the foam come out is big and comfortable to use. Comfortable in your hand. Has a pleasant smell. Didn’t leave white residue in my hair which is always a plus.
