As I sit down to write this review, I can’t help but be filled with nostalgia and a sense of excitement. The UNO Deluxe Card Game has truly captured my heart and brought back cherished memories of playing UNO with family and friends from years ago. If you’re looking for a game that transcends generations and guarantees a fun-filled experience for players of all ages, this is the one!
The first thing that caught my attention is the beautifully designed 112-card deck. The cards are of high-quality, with vibrant colors and a smooth finish that makes them easy to shuffle and handle. Each card has its own unique design, and the familiar numbers and action cards bring back that unmistakable feeling of anticipation and joy.
One of the standout features of this Deluxe set is the inclusion of a scoring pad and pencil. This is a fantastic addition that enhances the game, especially during those heated rounds when everyone is competing to be the ultimate UNO champion. Keeping score has never been so organized and effortless, making it easier to keep track of who’s in the lead.
The versatility of the UNO Deluxe Card Game is another reason why it has quickly become a staple in our family gatherings. With its flexible player range of 2 to 10 players, it caters perfectly to any occasion, whether it’s an intimate game night with a few close friends or a lively gathering with the entire extended family. This adaptability ensures that nobody feels left out, and the more, the merrier!
What truly sets UNO Deluxe apart from other card games is its ability to bridge the generation gap. It’s remarkable how this simple game can captivate both kids and adults alike. Playing with the young ones is a delight as they learn essential skills such as color recognition, counting, and strategic thinking. On the other hand, when playing with adults, the competition can become fierce as we try to outsmart each other with sneaky tactics and well-timed action cards.
The joy and laughter that fill the room during each UNO session are incomparable. It has the magical ability to create a lively atmosphere, bringing people together for a memorable and enjoyable time. And let’s not forget the sense of camaraderie it fosters – when someone plays a Draw 4 Wild card against you, you can’t help but smile and playfully groan, knowing they got you good!
As a parent, I can’t recommend the UNO Deluxe Card Game enough for kids aged 7 and above. It’s not only a great source of entertainment but also promotes valuable social skills and sportsmanship. Plus, it’s an excellent alternative to screen time, encouraging healthy interaction and bonding among family members.
In conclusion, the UNO Deluxe Card Game is an absolute gem that sparks joy, triggers fond memories, and provides hours of non-stop fun. Whether you’re an adult reminiscing about your childhood or a parent seeking a game that brings the whole family together, this is the ultimate card game to have in your collection. Grab a copy, gather your loved ones, and let the laughter-filled game nights begin!
Uno game is engaging for the whole family . Perfect for rainy UK summer holidays
Metal box is a great option, it makes really easy to store the cards and protects them .
We used to have UNO in carton box but this got destroyed easily and in effect we lost few cards !
We are a family of 5 and love playing games to pass the time. We are always looking for new ones to add to our collection and this spin off of Uno did not disappoint!
It has brought us endless hours of fun and frustration. It is easy to pick the game up. The instructions make it easy to understand. We have a 5 year old we have been able to explain the basic concept to as well. He still needs support, but it is nice that he can be included too.
The cards are great quality and have lasted us a long time. Will definitely pick more Uno related games up in future.
There overpriced as you can pick up this game fo ra few euro when you travel, but this is a better quality version and has the extra cards and tin. Great for holidays.
HELLO PEOPLE PLAYING UNO IS SUCH GOOD FUN PLAYING WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY ITS IS SUCH A GOOD CARD GAME TO PLAY UNO HOU LAUGHT ALL THE TIME I SAY ANY ONE PLAYING CARDS BUY THE GAME A YOU WILL SEE WHAT FUN YOU WILL HAVE ITS CALLED UNO THANK YOU
It’s a good sequel to the UNO game, with a bit of similarity but plenty of new cards and rules. It does take a bit of getting used to, but I’d recommend trying it. It was also great value when I bought it!
Played it with my younger siblings (aged 6 and 8), and they understood the objective of the game with relative ease. I believe the game is more engaging than Uno given the slightly increased complexity, and overall a fun light game to play. The initial point target is 200 to win, however with less than 4 players, it can be reduced to 180 or 150 depending on how long you want the game to go on for.
It’s a classic game, so I won’t comment on that. I bought this as my two sons are obsessed with numbers, they’re a bit too young to play the actual game. My only gripe is the packaging, as with little hands pulling it open, then box is already falling apart and the two decks aren’t separated inside, they just sit on top of each other.
Well packaged, the cards were sturdy enough and not flimsy. My family have enjoyed many Uno card games. Also the box is ideal to keep the cards in one place
We love this game! It has created many happy moments with the children. The game is simple enough for young children to join in and have fun. I like the fact that this is the Mattel cards. They come in this delightful tin box which keeps all the cards together. The inside has a soft feel and is all black.
I have taken one star off because I think that the box could be better designed. The hole spaces holding the cards are very tight, therefore it is very hard to get the bottom cards out, as the little thumb space to help taking the cards out, doesn’t go all the way down, if that makes sense. The box itself holds all the cards easily when they are new and straight. But once the cards are used a bit and get a little bent and wonky, it is had for them all to fit in the box properly.
Still, I don’t regret paying a little more for it, as it can be easily tidied away in a box and looks nice.
I played this game once over christmas with my son and his girlfriend and had a thoroughly good time so i bought this pack .everything you need to have fun with the family .
Worth the money to have cards in a storage tin plus the rules of the game. Very popular, simple game with focus on paying attention rather than complicated strategies. Good family game.
Being completely honest, I had never heard of the game. My partner ordered these from my account in an apparent ‘mix up’, thinking it was her own account!
Have to say though, when we received them she showed me the rules and BAM, I was addicted!
Would definitely recommend.
This is a really nice tin, which includes a pencil and score sheets. The reservoirs that hold the cards are a little bit tight, but we just put a piece of ribbon across before putting the cards in, which makes them much easier to lift out next time. We don’t really use the score sheets as they seemed overly complicated.
Bought this on recommendation for family fun and that’s what it is, fabulous game. If played solely with adults can be played strategically but easily played with mixed company and young children educational too
