Maxicrop Moss Killer & Lawn Tonic is a 2-in-1 solution that contains a natural organic seaweed base, destroying moss & offering rapid greening. With Seaweed Extract plus Ferrous sulphate & Nitrogen, this product blackens moss within hours and rapidly stimulates grass re-growth of the treated area. Also great for improving rooting, encourages grass regrowth and rapid greening.
Guide
Shake well before use. Can be used between March and October. Can only be applied twice a year, with at least 40 days or 6 weeks in-between each application. Can be applied when moss is expected to grow and is effectively growing. Moss will turn black when the affected is treated, this can also show you if you have missed anywhere. This affected area should be raked to remove dead moss.

Do not apply to lawns son or turfed less than six months. Do not apply under conditions of drought, frost or heavy rain. Do not apply within three days before or after mowing. Do not spray on any other surface other than lawn to avoid staining. Keep children and pets off of the treated area until dried and away from the product. Always use gloves when gardening. Always read the label before use.

I used this in a sprayer. Moss was black in approx 6 to 8 hours. Grass (what little I have) noticeably darker shade of green. First time I have used a liquid moss killer, usually granules. I would recommend. Wish they made a product as good that makes grass grow!

Garden full of moss, (just moved in) bought this on wing and a prayer?) Seems like doing the job as described, thing is, I had to check reviews to get idea how long to leave it down for? Apparently around 5days. Happy with that but should of been told, either way, seems great product, delivered prompt (next day) can’t fault.deffo use again.
Excellent product moss turned black ,died and was easy to rake out after just five days.
Mix the product in correct ratio. Appears to work on the moss but no effect on the lawn grass.
Most important thing is that this works – the moss turned brown and died within a few days and then it was just a matter of raking it up. It needs to be diluted a lot and this plus the difficulty of evenly spreading it is why I have marked it down a bit. I guess if you do it a lot you have all the bits and pieces you need to use it – measuring jugs, large watering cans etc but if not…. you will need them.
I prefer a liquid application but it is easier with granules as you can see where you’ve gone and going.Good value will cover a large lawn economically and any left overs should keep ok in a very robust container.
My lawn suffered from the build up of moss so I bought this. I’ve made a couple applications and at the moment I’ve been very impressed.
I’ve only given four stars but would be glad to give it five if it continues the good work.

Easy to use I sprayed it on, does the job, moss turned black overnight. Left for a couple more days before clarifying lawn.
Easy to use and very effective in killing off the moss and at the same time greening up the lawn. All the Maxicrop seaweed based products I’ve used have been good and this lawn feed seems to work better than other products I’ve used.
We’re in a new build where if you dig 1 inch down you find a layer of clay and building site ruble so we have very poor drainage and I usually have to burn moss off every month or so. The best thing about this is that it has stopped moss growing months after using it.
The only small downside is that it did take a good 20-30 mins to water my lawn with this in a watering can as oppose to a 5 min scatter with the granules. But considering the results it’s is absolutely worth it.
