Got this for my son’s 12th Birthday. He loves it. It is very easy to put together and easy enough to use. Does take some adjustmenting to get the angle right but thats easy enough. Although light after a while my son does find it heavy to use but think that is also down to getting the adjustments just right. His first time out on a beach he found some bits of flat metal encased on concrete, a wooden ship washer and a victorian penny from 1862, which are all now prized possessions .
All in all a good, fun bit of kit.

Bought it for my dad as a gift as he wonders around the beaches with a similar product and he is in love with his new toy. He is absolute loving it. He has found so many things already he has been using it every weeekend and really enjoying it. Had a go myself and it is very easy to use.

This metal detector is a great find! We bought this for our son for his birthday. It is a great metal detector and he enjoys! It is height adjustable which is great for a growing boy.
The Instructions for use are clear. The metal detector has a clear display and my son can easily see when he has found something and also what type of metal it is. The detector has lots of settings and is very sensitive, really good fun!

My sons are on the stage where they want to Find a Real treasure thats why one of my friend recommended buying this product to enable them to have Real adventures and challenges which may end up with finding desired treasure

So far we didnt found anything interesting but who knows if one Day we will highly recommended item for kids to support their curiosity and outdoor activity!

Got for myself quite advanced more high tech model recently, to kip my kid away from it got this . Was looking something functional and not overpriced. Got this one which was quite chap and looked decent.
Came in compact box, needed to set up which was not a problem, quite easy to set up.
It is light weight and straps can hold around the wrist making it more comfortable.
Considering it’s quickly it’s not far off on performance from my nearly 7-8 times more expensive model. Really impressed with performance and price combinations, good value for money.

I could not assemble this product as the washers and connector were missing, so it was returned. Very disappointing as it was meant as a present. Following this review I was contacted by a lady in Tilswall who was more than helpful. Not only did she apologise for the error but she sent me a replacement item free of charge. When I received the replacement I encountered the same problem as I could not find the washers, only to discover they were under the bolts, so this was my error. Having discovered this I offered to pay for the item. Tilswall would not let me do this and let me have the item as a gesture of goodwill. I am highly delighted with both the product and the service and I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

We live in the countryside so there are lots of farmland to go treasure hunting. We are in a fairly historical part of Scotland in terms of Pictish history so it wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibilities to find some ancient historic items. Anyway, even if we don’t find treasure, this metal detector is a good way to spend some quality time with the kids. So far we have found an ancient horse shoe and some loose change totalling about 20p. It is so exciting when you get the beep sound telling you that it has identified metal. You literally have no idea what you are going to dig up!
Great fun and I know I would have love something like this as a child.

My little brother’s birthday is approaching and I thought to buy him this metal detector as he likes searching and finding lost things in the ground .
My brother is 10 years old and this metal detector is just perfect for him.
I like that is suitable for adults as well as for kids. He will be so exited !
It even comes with batteries and i was surprised.

This is awesome! Such a good detector for adults as much as children. Found numerous nails screws washers bolts and metal parts. Great purchase definitely worth the money, both myself and my son have tremendous fun using it. Assembly was super straightforward, operates with two big batteries that came with the detector. Has three modes, but not sure how they detect, as we have yet to find gold.

This was very inexpensive so I didn’t have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised. It worked really well on the beach, finding all sorts of ‘treasures’. (Mostly bottle tops!) but we also found some coins too. No luck with gold coins yet, but it was fun to use and will be used next time we’re at the beach for sure.
