A terrific very compact portable robust stand fitted with quick-release fittings to swiftly secure ELECTRET CONDENSER RADIO MICROPHONES (available from Amazon) to capture sound in super-high fidelity.
The stand is perfect for simultaneously capturing vocals and an acoustic instruments such as a guitar, mandolin, banjo, timpani (bongo tambourine, etc.), or harp when performing on stage. The boom also makes the unit the ideal stand for capturing percussion such as pianos, marimbas, xylophones, kettle drums, tom toms, cymbals, cow bells, etc. when close-micing drum kits.
Jack your mics into a loop box to create instant Ed shearing.
Five stars
it is very sturdy.
bought for home use for my karaoke mic.
like the fact that it can be adjusted for height and reach in so many ways and the mic can be attached at two different positions.
was everything I could have hoped fo
The product seems to work but a picture or instruction on how it is best used to interface with the kit would have been helpful. There seem to be quite a few possible configurations and the design had an optimum in mind
Really happy with this stand. I gig a lot and have to carry gear around with me and the older mic stands have really heavy basses. This stand is lightweight but still sturdy and easy to adjust.
The mic clip is a decent size and holds a Shure mic no problem. The clip is a nice touch.
Av very portable mic stand which is just what I was looking for.
As the title says its probably not tough enough to survive life on the road for long but for home recording it’s really good value and works well. I managed to pull it apart by mistake but managed to get it back together ok without the plasticky bit breaking.
This inexpensive microphone stand works well. Used for a studio casting session to support a Rode NG2 shotgun mic at low level. Good, easy-to-use adjustment points, although these are made of plasctic. This product did the job, although I doubt that it would take the wear and tear of heavy, regular usage, for example, a band touring or gigging. Absolutely fine for light usage.
Bought this to try for psvr cam. OMG. Perfect. Cam V2 fits in the rubber. Or can use the clip and original cam mount. Interchangeable too, so can put clip or rubber at top or on boom. Extends to like 10 ft if use boom vertically. Trust me, this is the psvr camera placement solution you’ve been googling for!! Picture is of it behind TV, currently a great position, for couch and then stand if necessary. But can place anywhere. Can also Leave there, boom out over TV and point 90 degrees to length of room in moments. Can do quick 3 pic calibration (I do this just to be sure face around mid view of camera) if want, but noticed that the camera now at least, tends to self calibrate a lot. Used to fuss about perfect position etc you read about. Then found the camera even works fine at 45 degrees from you! But I setup aimed at me, with face in middle of cam screen on “adjust camera position” in settings real quick after a considerable move. Works fine 🙂 LIGHT is your biggest worry, and I think most people’s problem. If I ever get tracking issues I close curtains, turn off lights etc. Fixed!
