Really easy to set up works with Windows 11 perfectly : very responsive picked up laptop instantly : comfortable to handle functions perfectly for my needs : I’m not a gamer so not sure how it would handle games : battery provided and it’s Duracell so should last at least a year : I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable produc
I have been using this for over a year now, and it works just fine. The range is pretty limited, it does get a little unreliable if the receiver is more than a couple of feet away or there are obstructions.
A small mouse that works perfectly with the Laptop. Its small in size of fits in the bag without an issue.
The mouse is easy to hold and lightweight. The only thing it misses is any additional buttons we have got used to, with a back button or programmable button
The wheel is a hard plastic and not a rubber one that can get stuck or snap over time or its just my heavy handedness.
I’ve had this for almost a year and it’s now started to not scroll properly I scroll down and it goes up… smaller than I thought but up till now has worked well and the colour is lovely
I order these for work and I love the quality feel, the battery life is excellent and I have not had any issues with them and I have probably order 100 or so.
My only issue is with people losing the USB adaptor so once its lost the mouse becomes unusable, a little annoying as it seems such a waste so they end up getting recycled but then I guess this is more of a person issue than product.
I would recommend this and will keep buying them!
It’s not the best in the market however for this price point, it’s better than most Chinese brand competitors I’ve used over many years. The mouse is not the most accurate so I wouldn’t use it for gaming however for general use and work it’s perfect and small/robust enough to travel with. I’d recommend for normal usage.
This mouse works fine. It’s easy to set up (a number of seconds, if that), and once set up, i’s responsive, and gives an accurate representation of movements on screen.
My one grumble would be that it feels a little small in the hand, and I’ve not got particularly large hands.
It’s very comfortable to use and my hand doesn’t hurt while doing so (I work on my laptop all day). No faults apart from the clicking noise that I wish it was more quie
I have had earlier versions of this mouse for years. Reliability is first class and they seem more robust than most. The main weakness is that design relies on manual switching, so it is easy to forget to switch off after use. The consequence is battery drain, which is unfortunate at a time when so many cordless mice are self cancelling! Come on Microsoft, please introduce battery saving technology, soon.
After reading so many reviews this mouse undoubtedly is the best choice for me. This simple no frills 3 button microsoft mouse works instantly. It’s very responsive and reliable. It uses just one AA battery which seems to last for ever. There’s a small switch on the undercarriage to turn off the battery when not in use.
This was designed as a travel mouse so it’s slightly smaller than most. This is not a problem for me as I have average size hands. It feels comfortable to use and I thoroughly recommend this produc
Very cheap mouse with limited functions but works well enough. The tracking isn’t too good, it’s passable for the average user although if the G305 goes on sale it is a much better buy in my view as there is some clear stairstepping with this sensor even in normal usage. Nevertheless it is fine and very cheap, careful about dropping them however as the scroll wheel is easily broken in a fall. No side buttons is unfortunate and the dongle isn’t made too well (sometimes come apart, need some superglue put on it to keep it in one piece in the USB socket). Not a big deal though and a decent enough mouse for the average user who doesn’t care that much but doesn’t want a Chinese unbranded product.
I just got it so I don’t have much to say. if there is an issue in the future I will come back but right not it seems that its working well.
As I have a bad habit of dropping and eventually breaking any mouse I have owned in the past, I bought the Microsoft 1850 mouse as a cheap option from a renowned brand that would not cost a lot to replace. It has already survived several drops onto hard laminate flooring without a scratch in the two months since I bought it so I have no complaints about it’s durability so far. It is also comfortable to use left or right handed and as a casual gamer, despite it being a wireless mouse without the precision of a more expensive wired gaming mouse, I can still hold my own in the multiplayer games I like to play.
Simple design, easy to set up and so much easier to work without a tangle of wires, especially as my laptop has the USB sockets on the wrong side and the wired mouse cable was too short for ease of use.
The mouse connected straight away and has worked perfectly. A couple of times I’ve forgotten to switch it off after use so I doubt if I’ll get long battery life but I’m a casual user so it’s perfect for me
For 10 – it’s an excellent deal. It’s not the best mouse you can get, but it’s decent enough, the quality is good and it’s not uncomfortable.
When I got mine, the very edge of the mouse was a little sharp, but a quick brush with a nail file and it’s perfectly comfortable. It’s quite small, great for portability but people with larger hands may find it too small.
Battery life is great – I have used it for months with just the single AA it came with.
All in all, a bargain for 10 – don’t expect a wonderful mouse, but it’s quite good especially at this price.
P.S. it’s a lovely colour (especially the purple!)
I bought this mouse mainly because it was at a good price and made by a trusted brand to go with a new laptop. After 10 months of daily use, firstly I must say that it is a good size and is responsive and not overly sensitive to movement. The battery rarely needs changing. Unfortunately, after two months the mouse started to malfunction a little bit. It works well and then will stop working / responding altogether intermittently e.g it will work for 30 minutes and then become non-responsive for 5 minutes and then work again for 10 minutes before becoming unresponsive for 20 minutes etc. Looking at the mainly positive feedback on here it seems that I’ve just been unlucky with this one.
This mouse is incredibly easy to set up, and it is a really good price. I am satisfied with it, however it is on the smaller side, I would prefer it if it was a bit bigger, however this won’t stop me from using it as it is what I wanted. I have fairly small hands (I am a young woman) so if you have larger hands, you may want to look elsewhere. Can’t fault it in any other way.
I must have spent a few days looking for a wireless mouse to use with my laptop at work and with my MacBook Pro at home.
I ended up buying this one mainly because it has good reviews on here and everywhere else on the internet, plus it’s made by Microsoft.
It’s very easy to use, plug the USB device in, insert the battery, power it up and you’re good to go.
It’s comfortable and portable.
The packaging is nothing exciting but it also doesn’t look cheap, for 9.99 it looks very well presented.
It comes with a battery which should last up to 6 months so that’s currently being tested- other than that it’s a great product, don’t think twice, buy it!
Very good mouse for its price, definately worth your buck if you’re looking for a simple cordless mouse that works on the go without the need of installing software.
The click is moderately loud but not too loud, overall the mouse looks and feels a bit plasticky but since it’s very cheap, I didn’t expect it to be assembled in high grade materials.
Its light and comfortable and ambidextrous, the scrollwheel isn’t too stiff which is often the case with cheaper mice…
What I miss is a tilting scroll-wheel, especially because my previous mouse had that and I got used to it.
A tilting scrollwheel can be used to scroll sideways and its really a miss once you got used to that.
In search of a new mouse, I found that the TeckNet mice with extra buttons were some of the best selling… I was unsure, but I bought one because I believed the reviews. Long story short, the mouse came with a broken scroll wheel out of the box. So I returned it, and decided that I’d rather have a quality mouse straight from Microsoft and so far I haven’t been disappointed. It’s pretty basic at 10, it’s not the most ergonomic, but I feel confident that it will last… One thing most people never discuss about wireless mice is the USB dongle that comes with it. I’ve had many wireless mice over the years and almost all of the adapters end up breaking, leaving the mouse useless… but this adapter has no creases along the plastic where it might split like other wireless mice do. Microsoft knows what they’re doing when it comes to mice. I don’t care about how many positive reviews other mice have, I want something that will last!
Usually I buy Logitech mice but wanted a “Hot Pink” mouse to match the sleeve I bought for my new laptop – I was finding my last Logitech mouse was struggling to open links I finally installed a new battery but had ordered the hot pink mouse by then. The new batteries did the trick on the old mouse but I just love the colour and feel of the hot pink one.
The Microsoft mouse is just right for my largish female hand. It has a lift off back cover hiding the AA battery and a slot for storing the little plug or noddle as I call it. You get an Duracell battery in the packaging with the mouse but I always wonder about shelf life of these batteries but it seems ok. The “noddle” arrives in the transparent packing not hidden inside the mouse. There is also a “tiny” round button inset in the base of the mouse which proved to be an ON / OFF switch. Also a light which if your battery has any power in it will tell you if the mouse is switched on. Great that it is inset so nothing in my bag can slide it to the ON position.
The noddle is all black which is a bit annoying as other coloured mice I have had have had a band of colour to differentiate between your mice.
With the noddle plugged in to my laptop I used the mouse but went into settings (Windows 10) to check out the mouse and found I had to move the arrow a little to get a faster double click opening of the little folder. It really is good.
