I’m not really one for writing reviews but I have been blown away with this foundation. I have been looking for a decent compact cushion for a while – I’ve tried all sorts including the likes of Dior. My usual go to foundations are Nars or Charlotte Tilbury, but I really wanted a cushion that was easy to travel with and could be used on the go if I need it.
I was really sceptical about the colour – I’m really fair (usually the lightest neutral to cool tone in any foundation range) – but it’s perfect. The foundation goes on smoothly, blends well, has some buildable coverage and doesn’t dry out or oxidise on my skin. It’s super easy to apply, I’d say for me about four “dabs” on the cushion does my whole face/neck with a really nice light coverage. I then follow it up with the usual suspects of concealer and cream contour/blush. I have noted that some cream products do blend better than others with the foundation – I have one stick blusher that just refuses to blend with the foundation. I have a habit of setting my foundation across the t-zone with powder, but to be honest I’m not entirely sure I need to with this foundation as it hasn’t shown signs of moving.
I can get through a decent day of work and still look human come the evening, so probably taken it to about an 12 hour wear. I have felt the need to reduce some t-zone shine in the day (only maybe once or twice) when I’ve had it on for that long. That said I have felt pretty comfortable with it, not needed to touch it up and it hasn’t “moved” around.
I think for the best results you do need to make sure your skin is well hydrated and prepped before using. I get the feeling that it might not sit well with dry skin. I have genuinely been really shocked with this foundation, I had low expectations just based on the mountain of previous unloved foundations that sit in my dressing table drawers.

I love this foundation even though it isn’t transfer proof. It gives me a finish that I’ve never been able to replicate with a brush or a sponge, and is buildable to full coverage. It looks like natural skin even with many layers and on textured skin. I get hormonal acne around my jaw and it does a great job of covering this. When the spots are dark red & hard to cover (like in my photos) I will use a touch of concealer after i have applied it. My photos show before & after I applied 3-4 thin layers. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it does wear off, I tried it with different primers & invested in a good setting spray which helps a little, but I would advise trying not to touch your face while wearing this & bringing it with you for touch ups. (I might try their bb cream in the same shade to see if this helps. Despite this, it is the only foundation ive used in the last year & will keep buying it.
However, if you have anything near glass skin and you go through all the prep to put on make up, this sits like an absolute dream! It still gives a beautiful dewy finish so it still looks like your skin. I went with #23 which is the darker shade and though it did start looking a little dark, once you start working the product on your skin it lightens a touch.
A little goes a long way, again it’s not like western foundations. A little and tap it across the skin gently, apply a little more if needed but don’t build it up too much.
Someone recommended it to me and I’m in love. It feels so gentle and moisturising on the skin, and evens out the tone without being overly think. Definitely works for me with a bit of primer or mattifier – my skin is quite oily.
Doesn’t last all day, but I’d buy it agai
First time in my life, I bought product I saw in IG. Amazing cushion, trying for the first time. Price – affordable. Quality- surprised but it’s GOOOOD. Colour on a picture and in life seems dark but when I applied it to my skin, feels right! Lovely packaging! I do recommend this product!
I adore a good cushion foundation and this one does not disapoint. The formula feels light and hydrating on the skin and has a good medium coverage when layered. Very pretty finish once I set it. Only wish they had a wider shade range as the lightest shade wasn’t quite light enough for me and there are no dark shades. A good summer shade though and lovely formula.
Initially it looked slightly orange but i think thats simply applying too much, when its blended in appropriately it disappeared into the skin- cancelled out the bluer tones to my dark circles.
Dried down to very skin like finish than expected, if youve dry skin you wont need a powder.
Has a slight floral fragrance, but not irritating to skin and more pleasant than an SPF sce
1. If you want smoother look, The skin preparation requires more time than when using normal liquid foundation
2. Makeup Setting spray is a MUST thing. The foundation does not dry quick enough, so if you get water drops on a skin it looks horrible. (For best way to picture it, Google “crying fake tan” – that’s how my girlfriend looked like)
3. Wearing such foundation with mask is a big NO NO. Makeup starts to crease. (Not sure if all foundations do that under trapped air circulation)
4. You need to know technique how to apply such foundation. It’s easy on flat surface, but around the eyes an nose – you need skills.
Despite all this, she would still buy it again.
This is my second time ordering MISSHA cushion (this specific one) because I loved it too much! The first time I ordered it from YesStyle and it was more expensive than listed here and it took ages to arrive too which is not convenient. It is indeed a real product. I have compared both by side and see no difference. I bought shade 23 and it suits me perfectly. I love how it has good coverage yet it looks natural, not cakey and feels lightweight. It is really easy to apply it and it stays quite long on the skin. I have oily skin and it suits me well! It becomes a bit shiny after application so I need to go over with a powder because my skin is oily. Be careful when you apply it for the first time because people, including me, tend to push too hard on the cushion and get too much product on the applicator and therefore applying too much product and it will look cakey. When you use it for the fist 5 times ish, all you need is to slightly tap on the cushion and you will get enough product! It also lasted a pretty long time. Last time I got mine was in June
I was just trying out some K beauty products and got this because it’s cheap but I really like it. Got to be careful not to dab too hard otherwise you can end up with too much on. Bit of a shame there isn’t a lighter optio
Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I received and opened my package as I instantly knew that it was far too dark for my skin. Still, I decided to put it on and can contest that it has good coverage and doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the skin nor does it leave behind the appearance of massive pores. I left it on for two hours side by side with the foundation i currently use and it hadn’t gotten oily nor did i have to top up as it hadn’t broken apart on the oily parts of my skin.
I was hoping to find more shades but came up short as if I had found a lighter shade i would have bought it. Would definitely think abt buying again if lighter shades were made available.
TL;DR: good coverage, not cakey looking or heavy on face, hid my large pores but the shade was far too dark for me and to the bottom of my make up bag never to be used again it goes.
Edit: I decided to give this another chance and oh how much of a fool i was the first time putting it on. Instead of layering it on, i put a small layer on and it was a LOT paler the second time, though it was still just that bit too dark (blending it into my neck got rid of this problem.)
As for longevity, this is the best foundation i have ever used.
i have very, very oily skin AND i work as a trainee in a hair salon so that means i get sweaty and very flushed within the first three hours. However, i used this product and i checked it repeatedly through out the day and i only had to top up ONCE (around my chin area and upper lip but that’s a given and i didn’t even really need too but i just wanted to make it look fresher.) This was at 1:30 and i had done blow dries and everything. I also used no primer and very little powder and the makeup looked so fantastic by the end of the day (at 5:10 pm) that i went home and even kept it on for a bit because it still looked amazing! And it was so easy topping up as there wasn’t hassle of getting out a beauty blender and a tube of foundation AND a mirror! And it felt so natural on my face!
I also have such a bad habit of putting my hands on my face to cool myself down as i get very flushed very easily, and when i did it with my makeup i was SO horrified because i was so convinced that i had just taken half of it off or left hand prints. But when i went to check, there was no foundation on my hands and nothing had been smudged on my cheeks!
I had so many people compliment me (even had one person ask me if she’d seen me before… lol) and i NEVER wear make up to work solely because i hated the hassle of keeping it fresh throughout the day and ignoring how heavy it would become; but not anymore! The makeup never once felt heavy or cakey and it was so easy to apply in the morning!
i’m taking this foundation and never letting it get away from me or hide at the bottom of my bag! Though i would still love it if it was that bit paler – just a teeny tiny bit?
really and truly a fantastic product and i felt so much more confident wearing it!
A few tips!
-Start from the nose first (usually the most red here).
-Shut the lid immediately after use so you don’t dry out the product.
-Try it WITHOUT powder for a gorgeous glowy look.
First off, don’t be shocked by the colour, it won’t look anything like it when applied. Comes off quite pale on the skin, perfect for anyone who buys their foundations in ivory. I also hate the cake effect so I always apply a light layer of anything over a primer, this work perfectly, you can build up layers but warning if you do this then you can get the cake effect.
The pad is very cute and dark coloured so you can still see how much left of it you have left on the pad which is quite useful.
I love this product and it is well worth the money.
