Does the job and we really like the separate switch for the USB charging ports.
I’ve bought several of these to meet my seemingly never ending need for plugs and have no complaints about this brand. I appreciate the surge protection feature and yeh individual switches – very helpful if there is one thing that needs to be left running all the time but most can be turned off for safety/energy saving when not in use
Works great, love the colours and length ofnthe cable is just grea
Works fine – like being able to turn on and off the individual sockets as well as access to the usb ports.
Everything runs fine – the usb are slower than if I had a them plugged into a plug but still charge.
So far no issues
I liked the design, that is why I bought it. Only time will tell if it is durable.
It’s durable, well-made, and there’s enough space between the outlets to fit my bulky gaming plugs. I like that each socket has its own on/off button, they’re easy to press, the lights are clear enough to see, and they save me from having to keep adding and removing plugs when I’m not using a device. Can’t go wrong with this!
I’d be happy to recommend.
Needed a extension which would be wall mounted and not flimsy. Excellent build and switches per socket and for usb, give great control on what’s being used.
Came down quickly. A Little over packaged but arrived undamaged.
Does what it’s ment to do.
This is a great quality 3metre extension lead that has 5 sockets and 3 auto identify usb sockets which means it will detect what device is in there and only send the right amount of power to that device and not to much or to little so a great safety feature and also has surge protection so yes this is great value for money and safe so i highly recommend
At 3 meters you have quite a lot of leeway, perhaps too much for some things and it would have been nice to see it able to retract the wire but I’m just nit picking here. It’s a very good socket and has worked perfectly for a couple weeks now.
I very much value being able to turn off each socket manually rather than a single switch for all, and the extra USB sockets are also a very welcome addition.
It doesn’t feel too cheap either, it is plastic obviously, but it does have a bit of weight to it. It’s also surge protected which is a must, and also claims to have over current/voltage/overload protection too, although I hope you’ll forgive me for not force testing this as I’ll take the manufacturers word for it but have little reason to doubt.
At 21.99 RRP it’s not the cheapest but it is well worth paying the extra for being able to turn each socket off individually and it currently has 11% off making it 19.49 which I think is a great price.
The build quality is great because of the plastic used, doesn’t feel cheap at all. Nothing rattles, everything feels very well put together.
The led lights for each socket are helpful but also small enough for them not to be a nuisance at night. I think they’re just the right size
The switches do not feel flimsy at all, quite solid actually.
The only constructive criticism I would offer is that I would’ve liked to see a USB C charging port too but that’s neither here nor there because you probably have a charger for your device anyway, just a thought. I obviously can’t detract a star for this because you can clearly see what you’re buying and you’re accepting that fact before paying.
Another minor point is that at the moment, the listing gives an option of 3M + 4 USB ports which is inaccurate as everywhere else it confirms it only has 3 USB ports. It does only have 3 ports.
As extension leads go, this one has some perks. It feels sturdy in your hand, and has some good weight to it – suggestive of it being high quality. Each plug has separate on/off switches which are coloured differently – perfect for using under my work desk where I don’t want to accidentally switch off the wrong thing. Also very handy for saving those extra pennies on my electricity bill. Cable has a good length allowing it be easily cable managed.
As soon as you see the packaging you realise this is a quality item. Extension cables often come in just a plastic bag. This one is in a very nice feeling cardboard box with illustrations and specifications printed on it. This tells me the manufacturers are proud of their product. I think they should be. It has a very stout mains cable and the block has a solid feel and nicely rounded edges. The four mains sockets all have their own on/off switch and led. The led is not so bright as to be a nuisance in the dark but plenty bright enough to be seen in daylight.
The maximum capacity is 3250w and there is a safety cut out should that be exceeded. Three intelligent usb ports adjust to the device you are charging and will allow fast charging at up to 5v/2.4A per port. I can confirm that they do allow fast charging on an appropriate device. It does not claim to be waterproof. The sockets are well spaced and I had no problem with any of my plugs or chargers etc.
One of the nicest extension cables I have had and well worth the price which may well be discounted when you come to buy.
Well made, solid and durable extension lead with single switches.
4 way with 3 USB ports.
White in colour with coloured rims around switches and tiny light indicator.
Different lengths to choose from.
Works as expected. Recommended.
This is an excellent extension lead. Feels well made and solid. Nicely coloured switches and the addition of USB ports is brilliant. Holes for wall mounting on the back. Highly recommended.
Got this to replace another extension lead that I needed more plug space on as well as the usb ports. Makes recharging devices a lot easier as there is no need for usb plugs. Takes a while to remember to switch on the plug themselves before they will work, but otherwise does the job and does it well. Worth the upgrade and a fair price for what you get.
A really good quality extension lead, there are 4 sockets and 3 usb-A ports. The electrical cable is the thickest and strongest I’ve seen on an extension lead and it’s also one if the heaviest. Each of the sockets is switchable as are the usb ports.
Apple devices can be quite fussy about what can charge them and I wasn’t confident this extension lead would work, I was pleasantly surprised though. Not only did it charge my iPad and iPhone it did it very quickly.
I now have it by the side of my chair with 2 Apple leads in the usb ports, my heated throw and table lamp plugged in. It doesn’t get warm whilst working and all the electrical items worked perfectly.
All seems to work OK, no issues. The 3 USB ports are rated at 14W which is not great but adequate for many purposes. The 4 3-pin plugs each have their own on/off switch as does the group of 3 USB ports. Each switch is colour coded but I don’t know what advantage this gives really. There is potential for confusion as the switches are set equidistant each side of the 3-pin plugs (also meaning that the switch for the 3 USB is closer to a 3-pin than it is to the ports) so it could be easy to unintentionally switch on the wrong one, but hopefully once a user has worked it out it shouldn’t be an issue.
This is a great extension cable set with chunky and colourful buttons that can isolate the power to the individual plug – this is a brilliant option considering the current climate. The extension has good length to the cable and the plug has a chunky and modern appearance.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme.
You can get an extension lead from the pound shop or you can pay 21.99 for this one: either way, you will get what you pay for. This extension lead from Mscien is a vastly superior product, built like a tank and with an array of safety features that make it a premium product for the home or workshop. I’m quite impressed with it.
Solid, heavy-duty outer shell, noticeably thicker and larger than average, individually switched sockets, 3 metres of thick, flexible premium cable with a fitted UK plug that is fused.
Red pin-lights that illuminate when “on” over each socket.
Three usb ports each offering 2.4 amps (individually, not collectively).
Surge and short-circuit protection.
This is a top-quality product that is worth the outlay in terms of build quality and safety. 5 stars.
I chose this extension cable because it has 5 plugs plus the 3 USB ports – it’s perfect for my work desk to keep everything tidy.
It’s very well made – quite heavy and I love the fact it’s wider than most extensions – I can get my longer computer plugs in without them hanging over the top so it just looks neater.
You can switch off each individual plug too so when I finish for the day, I can switch off the computer but leave the lamp and charger plugged in – anything to save electricity these days!
The cable is thick and quite rigid – you can get different lengths but I chose the 3m version which fits great with a bit of leeway for moving around my desk.
3m Extension lead
You get a 4 way strip extension lead with 3 USB sockets and a 3m lead. Max power is 3250W. The strip has hanging screw slots on the back. Its a hard white plastic (which might not work well in dirty environments). Reset button is black press in on the side (doesn’t match the Amazon listing photos red button).
The power strip is 33cm long, 7cm wide & 3.5cm deep. The sockets are ~5.5cm apart – ok for normal plugs and narrow transformer types – but you might struggle with larger plug in items.
Each of the 3 pin sockets is individually switched via a coloured rocker. Another single rocker controls the USB ports. Each rocker has a very small red LED when switched on (but these are tiny and probably only visible in the dark or up close).
The lead arrives wrapped in a plastic bag inside a branded cardboard box which has product details.
Overall – nicely made, but bright white, individual switches and 3 USBs are good, but LED lights could be bigger.
I have had an extension lead with 4 sockets previously however, it was poorly designed which meant I wasn’t able to use two consecutive sockets. This extension lead is excellent. You can use all the 4 sockets as well as 3 USB A ports simultaneously. The lead is very strong, durable and of good quality. Each of the power socket has an individual switch which is really very helpful. The extension lead has some very good safety features. The cable of extension lead is long enough to reach from a power outlet to a desk or table, making it a great option for home, kitchen, or office use. Reasonably priced at 21.99
Overall, this extension lead is a reliable and convenient way to power multiple devices at once. I would highly recommend this multi socket extension lead.
Hope you find this review helpful.
This extension lead works as you would expect it to work and I particularly like how each plug socket has its own switch which I personally think is alot safer than regular extension leads. The usb sockets also have a switch. I use this extention lead in my kitchen for my toaster, blender etc and I have had no problems at all with it. I also like how it has usb sockets on it especially because most things now require to be charged with usb cables and nothing ever comes with a plug theses days so this saves me having to search for a spare plug when I need to charge things and frees up the plug sockets. I would definitely recommend it.
