Keeps my temperature down as it should, was very easy to install, and is very quiet. The Mystic light app on my PC sync’s this well with other items. Overall all good.
I bought this Cooler for my new build with an 13th gen i7-13700k and I must admit. It is soooo quiet and stealthy that I forget it’s even there. When I added this to my build, I had an issue with screwing it in the fans and case but with a bit of force on the screws, it’ll come together nicely. Screw packaging is labled for you to know what belongs on what socket and that helps new builders like ‘me’ understand the process of how to assemble my PC.
Keeps my I7 13700kf under control, makes sure it doesn’t thermal throttle.
Mounted easily and seems to work really well, quite and thermally efficient.
The product overall is amazing for begginers. I’d you put the fans on the wrong way it can be a hassle to get them off and on again. But it is what it is l.
I have bought this to replace my broken Aio and this one does the job very well and the rgb on the fans and the cooler it self is bright and easy to control using the MSI Center software.
This keeping my i7 13700kf well under control. The rgb looks great and connects directly to my asrock motherboard and works without any additional software. It seems perfectly quiet enough; under load it is only my graphics card that I can hear. Mounting was a little fiddly but to be fair, an aio is always interesting to fit. This was no worse than others I have used and definitely not the worst cooler to fit (anyone remover the old socket A AMD coolers?!) . I’m very pleased with my purchase
i Used this on my PC build and so far the temperatures have been amazing able to keep it below 40 while gaming and odd peaks of 50 over heavy load for multiple hours. So if your main focus is cooling, it can provide. ( Degrees Celsius)
The style aspect of the cooler is very nice giving a clean classical look that differentiates from the RGB standard of most modern coolers.
One important feature is the noise. While not completely quiet due to the 2 fans for the radiator it is still quiet enough to not notice.
I would recommend this product to those who use a demanding CPU or for prolonged hours. My only comments would be on the non standard pump that is only a consideration on the mounting part.
Despite being a bit awkard to attach ontop of the CPU, I’d recommend this product. It is as it is described on here, after installation I’ve had 0 issues since, very nice and quiet too; my old system just sounded like a bees nest.
Unfortunately it came without a manual so has to use online manual from the MSI website .
I also found mounting the pump onto the socket backplates challenging as the nuts are spring loaded one definitely needs a magnetic screwdriver.
Once assembled it works fine but I have used cheaper Chinese coolers that are easier to install.
Works a treat on a 5600x, been struggling with high temps (80-96c) for a long time. Changed to this cooler and now comfortably running at 50-60c on high load. Even seen it as low as 20c-30c
Bought in ‘used/acceptable’ condition, cost was half of the market price. Apart of the worn box it arrived perfect condition. Replacing my H115i RGB PRO as I upgrade to 13700K soon and LGA1700 not supported by h115i… The cooler is really quiet, I don’t know why so many complaint. The pump has a little more noise compared to corsair, but the fans are dead silent, even when tortured with prime95 for an hour I can barely hear. The rad front mounted and fans pull in position. It keeps my delidded 8700K (4,8ghz) at 34C idle, around 45C while gaming PUBG and reached max 68C while prime95 stress. So my cpu about 5-6C cooler compared to h115i and bonus my rtx 3080 also cooler for some reason, probably more fresh air pushed on it. Anyway, considering the price I paid (~55) I can’t complain.
Very easy cable management and you get also a guide to help you!
They include thermal paste with it and couple of binding cables so you all set for a nice build!
If you get the hum sound it means your screws are too tight on the radiator.. i did unscrewed them a little and it went away, what i did was stand the pc on its side for 20mins and unscrewed the radiator a little and now its silent.
What is your favourite aspect of the product and how did it improve your user experience? Found the instructions and build quality excellent, and love that I can use Mystic Lighting with the cooler
Ive used MSI products before and always found them to be excellent value and quality hence why I went with this cooler
So far the cooler is keeping the processor very cool and very little noise
The box contains all the fittings required although initially a little intimidating after a brief read of the instructions it was quite clear, the fittings are also very solid as is the radiator , the colour has the perfect glow for my PC
Another excellent piece of kit from MSI. The fans on this cooler run absolutely silent and look the business installed in my rig. The cooler has a real premium feel to it and is keeping my CPU at lovely low temperatures. It was a doddle to fit even in my case which did not have a removable radiator mounting plate. This V2 version comes supplied with the LGA1700 adaptor for 12th Gen intel sockets.
Really happy with my purchase.
Was a bit sceptical about this liquid cooler because I’m used to a block cooler on my other pc but took a chance and I’m glad I did and would recommend
Intergrated pump on the radiator is great. Noise level is very low on this too.
For the actual piece with rgb, id be carefull when filling all dimm slots as in and out tubes are extremely close. Not an issue if using low profile memory.
Got this for my 12th gen Intel CPU, and it’s great.
It’s one of the few AIOs at the moment that directly support LGA 1700 without the use of extra mounting plates or things like that.
Was really easy and simple to install, with a clearly explained instruction guide, and spare screws if you end up missing some of them. The fans mounted really easily and the radiator went in with smoothy.
In terms of thermals, the C280 delivers really well on keeping the CPU cool on high load, and for gaming, will never creep up higher than 50 degree celsius for me. The noise level of the fans is somewhat noticable, however I never found this to be a real problem; it’s still quiet enough to be drowned out while gaming. RGB is a nice addition too, looks really nice with my Z690 EDGE motherboard by MSI respectfully.
Overall, really good. MSI delivered another great product and I would definitely recommend this.
2 packs of the same screws sent so totally useless. Have contacted MSi throught their forums to see if the right ones can be sent, if not will have to strip it off my new pc and send back. Angry! Will update and amend any ratings.
Amazon sent a replacement the next day.The right mounts were sent. Thank you Amazon for fast replacement.
Overall the cooler is easy to install (my first), led’s are nice (lots of setting’s on Mystic Lighting) been running LGA 1700 i7 12700k and its working fine, not benchmarked it yet though.
Fantastic. The cooler keeps my PC running very cool, Gaming and playing Far Cry 6 the temp never went above 55c.
Desktop viewing YT and web pages around 20-25c, I installed this into the inner roof of the MSI MAG Series Mid-Tower Gaming PC Case and it fitted like a glove
and was very easy to install.
A little bit expensive but well worth the money for the quality.
Be sure to watch videos on the product before installation.
LGA 1700 Brackets are added with the MSI MAG CORELIQUID C240 Liquid CPU Cooler.
I just built a new PC and this was the first time I decided to go with an AIO water cooler, so it was a little more fiddly to install than I’m used to, and the manual diagrams made it a bit confusing. After getting it all set up though, I have to say it was definitely worth it.
It looks so much nicer than having a huge air cooler block covering the entire motherboard, and as you can see from the image, the ARGB colour on the CPU block is quite big and lets off some very nice colour, which you can set to your liking using many lighting features in the MSI software.
As for performance, I ran a benchmark test and the highest temp my i5 12600KF reached was 65c which is much better than my old PC with air cooler.
If you have the fans set to max speed then it is quite loud, however if you leave them on smart mode they will run very quiet most of the time, and only speed up when it gets hot.
Overall would recommend if you’re in the market for a new AIO cooler.
