I’m so glad I bought this. My daughter was potty training and I decided to purchase this before she started wanting to go when out and about. The first trip we took with this we took the kids to London and unfortunately the toilets queue was outrageously long we quickly popped this in a corner put my hoodie as a shield to give her privacy and we went without an issue. It didn’t leak or anything. We were all happy.
If I was to have a complaint it would be that the lid should be able to open to store toilet roll or flushable wipes. That would’ve made it more compact and easier to travel with.
Haven’t used it yet but looks great and price ok too
Just the right size for our little one
Looks fantastic
Durable
Recently started potty training my daughter, I take this potty with us every time we leave the house.
Perfect for potty training, it doesn’t leak when in the car.
And my lg just loves that it’s Nemo
I find this so convenient for being out and about with my daughter. Great whilst potty training and beyond, the design seems to work really well – no leaks!
Such a great design for going out and about- genius!
It look a bit longer to get used to as the front part between their legs seems higher than my other potty so she was a bit nervous at first, but we left it in the house for her to get used to before taking out with us and now it’s her go to potty at home
And out 🙂
We were sent this item as a replacement as our original potty broke after only 6 months use. This one has been in action for a month or two now and so far so good.
Ended up returning because there isn’t an insert that can be removed to clean. Real shame because my little one loved the design and was keen to use i
My daughter loves this. Made potty training so much easier and took the stress away from leaving the house. Super easy to clean and use, and closes firmly and securely. Great size.
My son loves dinosaurs so we bought this plain green carry potty and let him add stickers to it himself.
We never leave the house without it and he loves using it. Lots of “Omg you’re so clever” and “wow your potty is so cool I love the t-rex” and making him feel proud of his potty has helped loads.
For the parents. It’s a godsend, we can pack it into the bottom of a pushchair or bag or just carry it separate and my boy has a potty wherever we go and you just close the lid and empty it out it’s almost 100% water tight and we’ve only had a single leak after a lot of tossing about and that was likely our fault. So convenient.
Highly Recommend.
Very good product however it leaks when there is fluid inside it if it if agitated. I would expect a product to be able to keep fluid inside.
Ours definitely doesn’t leak, would recommend to anybody looking for an easy way to deal with potty training when out and about. Pretty small which is good for portability but need to make sure your little one sits in the exact right spot.
We heard that if you turn the locking mecb first before closing it makes sure you’ve got it shut all the way, have done this the whole time and not one leak.
Cleaning wise it’s fine we empty down the toilet and wash in the shower, water can get in to the casing so tend to leave on its side overnight to drain.
Overall pleased we spent the money to get this. Beats carrying around a normal potty and having to dispose of stuff straight away, this is just easier all round.
his one or a folded one that u pop in your bag
i don’t like the idea of bags cos that’s just a mess to empty and chuck and no i dont like the idea of chucking a bag of urine instead of flushing it.
I also like hygiene. kids hold the toilet seats in public places which are filthy and they touch their faces and you before u even have time to get them to wash their hands
happened to me- was at the hospital and the toilet was occupied- my little one needed to go.
the botty li being there gave a bit of privacy. no one sees a bag getting filled or then tied. you can use it anywhere. shut and sort your kid and go no faffing with what to do with the pee or poo. so overall positives compared to the bag types and the seat only ones u fold away
the annoying bits- the seat container doesnt come off to empty. u have to hold the entire thing and pour or flip. pee then sometimes drips down to the white areas they sit on. its urine so really i can’t just wipe it u need to wash and rinse these with soap when back home as it its a layer of protein u cant see at first but later builds up and makes visible like toilet seats 😉 to wash it then uh ave top wash the entire potty and its a bit messy than a cup/pan
the locking mechanism as many have mentioned is not easy. u need both hangs to open this and close. my one doesn’t close shut perfectly when u look at the side- on one side, outside, but it does hold the pee in
I let my little one pick the one she wanted so when it arrived she was taking it all over like a toy. but not being able to open it or close it frustrated her so much and i had to deal with that. taking it out means i have to have a backpack and carry it about if i want to be hands-free. its too much to ask a little one to carry it out and about if they are walking age and not using the stroller.
My little one didnt like peeing at nursery and was holding it in, so i did take this in and she had then used it at nursery, after that the next day i didnt send her in with it and then she had used the toilet at nursery.
We got this for when we go out as little one struggle with sitting on a big toilet.
It’s really good. However it did leak a little bit when stood up (put it on the handle of pushchair). However when tested with water it didn’t. So not a 100% why it did. Overall it’s really good and it leaks a few drops. We are happy with it and so is our little one.
Fab potty. Totally leak proof.
High front part which is great for boys.
The twist lock for kids is too hard, which is good to prevent accidents, of them trying to open.
Down side;
No insert like my old potty to empty easily. Means that when you empty you will get dribble down the side like most potties.y old one had a removable insert, but not seem to be made anymore.
If you take on a plane the air pressure forms a seal which is hard to open so make sure you empty before getting on plane, or the effort to open will shoot wee everywhere lol.
I bought this obviously for potty training my little one when out and about. The poor girl has a bladder the size of a mouse, so we use it regularly! She absolutely loves it, and finds it comfortable to use.
I had read a few reviews saying the seat was quite small, so I was concerned, but we’ve had no trouble at all. For size reference, my little one turned 3 In January and is solidly in 3-4 clothing.
We looked at so many other types of travel potty, but being able to close the lid and carry on without looking for a bin for a dirty liner was a must (especially with her tiny bladder and the amount of mid shop wee’s we’ve had to do ).
I also took into consideration not having to spending extra on liners (my god they’re expensive!!).
Honestly, cannot recommend this travel potty enough!
