Love this light, only fault is it’s not bright enough only able to use 60watts bulb which a not very bright for outside at night.
Looks good day & night. Has a good motion sensor and lights up the doorway. Would recommend.
One of the glass panels are broken on one lands and I just want a replaceme
Had an electrician fit the two I bought so can’t say how easy to fit only to say he didn’t complain. They have been up for two weeks and are working well they are a little bigger than the ones I was trying to match up with in my back garden. All in all very pleased with them
Check installation requirements before purchase. My error had to return it.
Part of instruction missing. Manufacture manual on line solved the problem had to take fitting apart to reach the electric connection as was hidden behind a shield.
The item came the next day so could be fitted, the Item was easy to fit the wire’s could of had more room to connect it and refit the cover: The sencer was easy to set so overall good.
It replaces an existing unit that failed. Fixing were not the same. This unit has a better motion detector but it’s fiddly to set up. Generally satisfied.
Pleased with this, looks nice – but was a bit fiddly to fix.
Does what it says on the tin, only issues I had is it’s a shame the window sections are Perspex and not glads for the extra finish and the motion sensor adjustment is very sensitive when setting up
I have just had this light fitted. On opening it we found that the product did not include LED bulbs in the list of suitable bulbs. My electrician advised that it was unlikely the PIR would work properly if I fitted an LED bulb. We put in a manufacturer recommended bulb and the light works well so I am happy with my purchase.
Device is installed, looks good and detects ok.
However, I pose the question: How difficult should it be to connect three electrical wires? The designers seem to have gone out of their way to make the connections inaccessible, requiring the dismantling of the inner construction.
Nice light that works well and sensor picks up movement at a good distance. Somewhat fiddly wiring up as you have to take whole thing apart. That said pleased with light so far – about 4 weeks now.
This is a decent motion activated light for the price. Metal case, polycarbonate ‘glass’, and the internals such as lamp holder are plastic. Installation is a total pain as you need to remove so many screws so I’m not looking forward to having to change the bulb! Not sure why it’s listed as Energy Class E because it doesn’t ship with a bulb and it’s that which determines the classification – I put in an Amazon Basics 7W LED with the fake Edison filaments which puts out a usable if not overwhelming light.
Really not very waterproof in my experience, but if used in a covered location (ours is under a small canopy roof at the front door) then it should be fine, but would be better if it had a drain hole in the bottom just in case.
Instructions seem to refer to a different model or design but they get you through.
Adjustments are for both on-time of light after detecting motion, and ‘sensitivity’ which the manual suggests controls the detection range. As I’ve only installed today and now it’s dark I find it too sensitive (picking up cars driving past on the road!) and will try adjusting it down tomorrow… Overall though, very happy with purchase, just think the number of screws and general clunkiness of installation could be improved hence 4 stars.
Relatively easy to install and looks tidy and quite smart. A little fiddly to get the wiring in place but easier than some other options for this kind of light.
Lots of screws to get the cover off to change the bulb so best to use a long life low power one.
