This is the only moisturizer that works on my skin, it makes it feel so hydrated and soft, I have fairly dry skin and it is pretty sensitive as well. This is such a great product!
Really nice moisturiser, a little goes a long way, does not sting at all, subtly ‘irons’ fine lines and wrinkles… A pleasing effect when used… Have bought more than once, recommended.
Fragrance free Gel Moisturiser for Combo & Day Moisturiser for Dry Skin . Feels zmazing and a little goes a long way . Uses Hyaluronic Acid , Glycerin and has a primer feel .
Amazingly hydrating! Sinks in quickly so can apply make up straight after, if like me you don’t like that sticky tacky feel many other moisturiser’s have after applying, then get this it’s a 5 star! As good as 40/60 pound others I’ve tried!
Great for my skin, I’ve noticed clearer , smother skin since starting to use it about 6 months ago
I love the way this cream feels on my skin (it’s texture is more like a gel, actually) . It’s like a baby’s soft skin after use. I’ve no idea what is going on under the surface but I have sensitive skin and it has not caused any irritation at all. Great value too!
It absorbs very quickly leaving the skin soft and hydrated
Cant get enough of this cream. Its smooth and glides on the skin leaving you feeling refreshed
This works really well for my skin which is quite sensitive, the texture is not too thick or thin it feels good on my ski
First time I’ve tried this product and I would recommend it, it’s so light on your skin, this will be my moisturiser in future. That’s why it’s 5 Good price as well.
This works great on my 70 plus skin. Keeps me hydrated and is kind to my skin. Gave some to my sister whose skin is very sensitive and she loves it too. Have placed reorder request for this as I don’t want to run out especially in Winter months.
Almost done using with the product and I can say it’s ok for my skin. I’m placing order for two more today but I noticed the price has increased, I will be comparing prices.
But definitely going for this produc
Very Light cream and soaked in well, ideal under make up or just to use around the eye area as it soaks in well. It isn’t very rich so could be used daytime without causing panda eyes when you use mascara. Works well on my sensitive ski
This is the best exfoliater I have ever tried, gentle and effective with no irritation. Unsented. My skin feels so soft after use and I have dry, sensitive skin. Followed by hyaluronic acid and moisturiser. Use as often as you like as it doesn’t dry the skin out.
skin wasn’t a big fan of this, made skin feel slightly hydrated but quite tight and hydration didn’t last long
It’s not too bad for it’s price and the texture is good and cooling however it’s a very basic cream. Not doing much with anti aging, but it’s a good moisturiser if you have dry skin.
I really like this moisturiser. I have used it twice a day for about a year now. I was prescribed an acne cream by my doctor, it can dry out the skin so a good moisturiser became an absolute necessity! This has been great. It doesn’t make me break out. It doesn’t feel greasy or thick. It’s very light and absorbant. It doesn’t contain perfume either which really made the ideal product for me. I also use the eye cream, after using the inkey retinol eye cream and it is also great! As you can see I definitely recommend i
I used it as a moisturiser. It felt cool on application and made my skin feel really smooth for several hours. I have used much more expensive products which weren’t nearly as effective.
have been using neutrogena gel cream for a few years now.
love the feeling.
have tried other creams inbetween when this was out of stock. Nothing compares to this.
t leaves my skin soft and supple.
Hydrated.
dont wear make up. The cream gives my skin a very healthy glow.
feel fresh, not weighed down like other creams tend to do.
recommend.
f you have dry skin buy gel cream.
f normal skin buy the water gel.
also use the hydro boost serum, just 1 squirt of it with the gel cream does wonders
Use them together and you wont switch to another moisturiser
5 stars
Got this as was recommended to use with my skin & me tube, ive never used a gel cream to be fair as ive always had dry skin. My face just doesn’t absorb it great, (I ended up using it on my legs which was really nice.
Much prefer creams on my face than gel creams to sink in bette
I love my dad immensely, BUT I have inherited his skin type, very dry! I have dark skin (Afro Caribbean) and it’s not always easy settling on the right product for the face, especially during the UK autumn and winter months when the skin can become more affected and needs more care. Until, I found this tiny jar of boosting wonder. Applying on slightly damp skin in the morning, paying particular attention to drier areas like under the eyes, forehead, under the nose and chin has made my skin feel more hydrated and I never feel the need to reapply. It lasts well into the night. It feels light and it doesn’t leave the skin shiny or greasy. It’s a fresh, non-scented gel cream – the only downside is the jar is super small and if it does work for you, you may feel the need to buy a few jars at a time. It can finish quickly. I haven’t located it in high street shops yet which would be much more convenient for us. Nevertheless, if you have dry skin, I would recommend you give this a try.
I bought this face cream because I was told it was similar to Cliniques Moisture Surge. I had a small travel container of that so I could do a direct comparison.
And yes, I agree, they both work as well as each other. Only this one is a lot cheaper. And it is still from a highly respected brand.
I use it every day now. My skin feels moisturised without looking for feeling oily or greasy. You don’t need much of the gel cream, and it soaks in well. The jar is well designed so you can easily get all of the cream out.
I also use it on dry skin on other parts of my body – I lean on one elbow a lot and that gets dry, so applying this every morning helps. It’s cheap enough to be able to do that!
Please note that this gel cream does not have a sunscreen, so you may want to use a sunscreen in addition to this product at certain times of the year (or should that be days rather than times in the UK?!)
Very happy was having issues with flaky makeup and read that I needed to exfoliate more but too much exfoliation is bad for your skin so was very careful to choose something not too harsh. This has very little exfoliation but enough to keep the flaky makeup at bay, I use a very good moisturiser after so can’t say if it dries your skin out but I chose it because it said it wouldn’t. All in all I am pretty pleased with it, smells nice too and will buy agai
GOOD THING: Gives really good feeling to my skin – I suffer from acne, oily skin with tendency to form dry scales on problematic areas. It is not helping with the acne though but it provides my skin a relieve from the unpleasant oily & dry feeling. Also good as a base for makeup when you give it few minutes to dry and absorb.
BAD THING: However, what I don’t like is the waste of plastics – it is only a little amount of gel and the amount of plastic used to make this jar makes me really consider another product, more nature-friendly. I hate the feeling that after I use this little cup of gel I produce this kind of waste ending frequently somewhere in the sea!
I started using a mail skincare solution which, because it contains retinoids had left my face very dry and sore, it was also peeling. The makers of the skincare solution recommended a moisturiser that was simple and non-oil based and I was struggling to find one which did not pill and ensured the amount of hydration needed.
This fits the bill very well, within a week my skin has felt much more moisturised and comfortable. The product seems to sink in to the skin very well and means you don’t end up feeling sticky or shiny like you do with some creams.
I also find this moisturiser good applied under makeup, and can be used both in the day and at night.
I think this is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. During the first couple of weeks I had an awful breakout, not sure if it was purging from this product?
No scent, feels light.. almost gel like. Little goes a long way. Esp good for me as I have combo skin (dry forehead, oily cheeks and nose) my skin is looking good, less greasy. I use this product as part of a routine, so it can’t take all the credit, however I am very pleased and will buy it again.
Before I started using this product, I was bouncing between different moisturisers. I have never struggled with my skin, but since last September, I started getting closed comedones! I have been trialing so many methods to get rid of them, and some of these have left my skin damaged but also neglected. A trip to an aesthetician told me that I needed more hydration in my routine as my skin was lacking this drastically, so I went ahead and bought one of their expensive creams (Aquaporin). After two months this did not make much difference to my skin in terms of hydration, I even had to buy other hyaluronic acid products to compensate, not to mention as I am rotating between Retinol, AHA/BHA, my skin is starting to get a bit dull and dry. I then decided to buy Neutrogena’s gel cream recently and have not been disappointed at all!
When picking between the water gel, and gel cream, many people state that ONLY fragrance is the difference. After researching, apparently this is not. The gel cream is more suitable for sensitive skin in need of more moisture as well as hydration, in a way, it is just a bit more heavier than the water gel, but it certainly does not feel heavy when I apply it, you can see from its consistency that it is very gel like and light.
PROS:
Not only does the product HYDRATE, it also adds MOISTURE. Both are essential in skin, and both are tough to find in one product, which is why I am even more in love with it.
The cream is supposed to be thicker than the water gel, but honestly, it does not feel terribly thick on skin, in fact when you massage it in it feels incredibly soft and light.
Skin does not feel tight after using, which is a problem with a lot of cheaper brand alternatives.
Has not given me more closed comedones or acne, so if you are acne-prone this seems to be nice.
No fragrance.
Good for sensitive skin.
Helps with dry and flaky patches of skin.
Skin feels SO soft after using this, it is definitely retaining moisture, and this is working well with reducing comedones.
CONS
Some may think the price is good, I think it is decent for what you are getting, I have no problem paying this price over and over again, but I can tell this product does come on sale often so might be better to be patient and stock up.
Overall: 5/5. Excellent product, I think I have find a moisturiser to use for a VERY long time, again hydration and moisture in one product is amazing! Plus it is incredibly gently on my sensitive, combination skin.
