Purchased to replace a 500w Halogen flood light. Although I didn’t do a side by side comparison I would say the light output from this is as good as a 500w flood light. Also purchased a water proof connector as the lead is hard wired (IE you can not open up the light to wire directly into it). Reasonable length of cable came with this light however I have had some LED lights with a very short cable.

Very bright light, I have bought lots if these and put them up for friends & family. Slim with heatsink on the back to keep it cool. Short lead but this is easily sorted with a waterproof connector block

Used as a SAD lamp for me and my kitchen herbs, we were all very cheery over the last winter. Flicker-free and blindingly bright – do not look directly into it! Easy to install

Bought and install.
Pros:
1. Easy to install, a bit of drilling here and there.
2. Bright, 100w means I can enjoy myself in the garden long after the sun is gone. Hard to describe but imagine the brightness level of a full moon summer night.
3. Weather resistance.
Cons:
1. No electrical connector which is a shame; would make it a full package in my book if all components for a complete installation is included such as 2 screws and connector.
2. No water proof container for the exposed wire. I would not claim this was a design problem but the item could have been better designed to conceal the wire inside the casing.
2a. If not then there should have been an external casing to fully waterproof the connection wires

Very promt delivery. Can’t comment on durability but at the price is good value and easy to install as it’s pre wired with a short lead. Good brighteness when used on a lage patio area. No problem on recommending.

All in all very good however metal bracket that fixes to wall could do with stronger steal it will vibrate a lot on a windy day

I didn’t know if had motion sensing properties; I don’t think it does. I am using it indoors as an uplighter in the kitchen, reflecting white light off the ceiling to light worktops. Very effective.

This is a really solid, well made piece of hardware. It comes with about 10 inches of tail so it was easy to fit using a junction box. I have placed this directly over my main workbench pointing downwards and it like having a floodlight pointed at me when I am doing fine detail work.
