If you have a patio or drive that needs cleaning this is an amazing tool for that..

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have 115 square meters of paving in the front yard overhung by several large blossoming trees. Bought a nilfisk p150 6 years ago with the patio plus head. The old patio head seemed to be leaking a lot this year so I replaced it with this. The improvement is incredible, much better than any paving cleaner I have ever used. K’archer can take a hike, these guys are light years ahead!
There are gentle or fierce nozzles and adjustable pressure, perfect for any surface.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMore efficient for larger areas than the lance alone.
Could do with being heavier as the water pressure lifts it from the surface which means you have to exert downwards pressure to maintain contact.
This becomes tiring after a while.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy patio and driveway needed a clean. I previously used my nilfisk c110 pressure washer with the lance. I thought I would try one of these attachments, also made my nilfisk.

It came in a box and seemed a bit flimsy at first.

I connected it to the pressure washer, which was straight forward and started a clean straight away.

I was pleasantly surprised. As you can see, it was quite effective. There was less mess and spray than using a lance. I did my patio and then went on to do a medium driveway that holds 3 cars. It was a lot quicker than using a lance on its own.

I can’t think of any disadvantages of using this attachment. I am not sure how long it will last. But it did come with a large pin and instructions on cleaning the pressure jets, incase they got blocked up. I’ve only used it once. But I was happy and would recommend it.

    Decent patio cleane

Very handy and much better than using the pressure washer alone. The only problem for me is that when attached to the lance it is far too short resulting in back ache….I’m 6′ 2″. That said, after two years of neglect, the patio scrubbed up well 🙂

    Does a great job

Very easy to use and did a great job of cleaning my drive. The only downside is that the length is a bit short which means you have to bend and after a while you get a sore back.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this as a replacement. This attachment is much faster and better (more uniform) at cleaning patios and drives than just using the nozzle, once you get your rhythm. Still hard work as you need to bend and use 2 hands. The pressure from your water supply spins the attachment underneath. The only gripe l have is that you need to hold it down as its so lightweight. I tie a 2k weight on the top to help with this and it works. Just makes it a little harder to move about. Also be careful you don’t bash it into anything. They are pretty sturdy, bit if you crack it, the pressure wont be able to build up. That is what happened to my last one. I have added a pic of the damage on the ‘OLD’ one, so you can see. All in all, its a super attachment and does a great job!

    Much faster than just nozzel

I bought this accessory together with the Nilfisk 135 pressure washer. I was very pleasantly surprised at the ease with which I cleaned my patio and paths, which were very mucky after the winter. It was just like using a vacuum cleaner. It took a little time to find the balance between letting the machine do the work and not bearing down on it too hard, and keeping it on the ground because if you ease the downward pressure off too much it takes off like a hovercraft (same principle).

Highly recommended as an effective accessory that saves time and effort.

Unbelievably cheaply made considering the cost. I was expecting to be underwhelmed.

Surprisingly does a rather good job.

Annoyingly short. I’m only 5’10 and an extra couple of inches would have made it so much more comfortable to use without hunching over.

It’s ok, could be better or cheaper.

A bit dinkey and lacks a moving joint at the base. Saves a lot of time though. I guess if you were a professional, you would not bother with a C Nilfisk.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersfar better than expected, this saved a lot of time and effort cleaning the patio. the main thing i found most helpful was I managed to stay dry which doesnt happen when using a pressure washer on its own. very good at cleaning they paving which was very green and slippery and very large area, the time taken was far less than usual and much less overspray so little or no mess being sprayed over the walls and garden furniture. excellent product works reallr well would strongly reccomend this.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery good product to clean large areas quickly – I.e we managed to clean the floor quicker with this attachment than the spray nozzle/tornado nozzle.

The mud and grime that is cleaned off the ground does however need to be washed away afterwards as this product will only release the grime and not wash it away.

Highly recommend for cleaning large areas as you can see from the “before and after” pictures – this area took about 2 hours to patio clean and then we changed the attachment (wide angle nozzle) to wash away the grime that was released.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good way to quickly wash patio!

I have to admit I was expecting to be underwhelmed by this product. I could not see how, with just a couple of little jets, it could be powerful enough to clean my REALLY black brick pavers. To be clear I did immediately put in the power nozzles and I did run it at full power on my pavers. It was a great and very welcome surprise to find that it does a great job. It even fetched out all the moss growing between the pavers, which I was not expecting it to be able to do. It is a lot faster to use than the standard pressure washer on large areas, less messy too as the water is contained within the device. Water use is modest. All in all, I am so much more pleased with this product than I expected to be. I’d certainly recommend it.

I bought this to freshen up my mono block driveway which hadn’t been cleaned in a number of years. I was able to attach this to my Nilfisk washer in a matter of minutes (looked like part of the assembly had already been carried out by the seller).

I have been reluctant to use the lance on the driveway in the past since it blows all the sand out of the joints making it a fairly long winded job to clean (ie you have to spray it and then buy more sand and wait for the right weather to brush it in). With this head set on about 70% of it’s cleaning pressure it cleaned the blocks up perfectly but didn’t blow any of the sand out of the joints which meant the in 1-2 hours the driveway was clean and nothing more to do. Just what I needed.

This certainly has enough power for an initial sweep over to loosen dirt and debris. I found that the high pressure nozzle from the lance was necessary to properly clean the patio. This was a few weeks ago, so I plan this weekend to do a little pass to rejuvenate where I previously cleaned. I suspect that now there isn’t years of discolouration on the stones that this attachment will make the job a very quick one. If I am right, then it will be worth using more regularly – perhaps at the beginning of Spring and the end of the Summer – to maintain a clean finish with less time and water being used.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had fairly low expectations when I purchased this item and even lower when I assembled it, as it seemed quite flimsy. However so far I have been pleasantly surprised as it has worked better than I expected. I have been using it to clean paving in my garden. It certainly works better – quicker and more effective – than just using a standard pressure washer.

The only real negative is that for anyone over about 5′ 2″ backache is guaranteed after prolonged use. This is because, when attached to the pressure washer, the whole unit is only about 3′ long, so one has to stoop to use it. I tried to find an extension attachment, but there doesn’t seem to be one available.

The unit does feel to be quite flimsy in construction, so I am not sure how long it will last, but so far it has performed well.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis seems on first sight to be a bit flimsy for the task (take note if you have a large patio). In the end, it worked fine on my small(ish) patio.

How I used it was to spray with patio detergent, using my Nilfisk spray bottle, then I used the patio scrubber. The work is done by the high pressure jets, and little “scrubbing” action is needed, or even useful. This is when “flimsy” comes in. Do not scrub, it does not like it. Let it get on with the job, with small movements by you, and all will be well. Do you need a patio detergent spray? Who knows, but my results were fine from a very dirty start.

    Worth the investment.

I used this in combination with the cheapest nilfisk pressure washer (110bar). It does clean the slabs well but you really have to hold it on for ages to get the dirt removed. If you rotate the power adjuster down you can hear the pressure washer supplying a higher pressure. With the brush set to full power the pressure washer struggles to keep up with the flow and you can hear the noise change and then the cleaning power reduces. I’m sure on a higher spec Nilfisk it would do the job very quickly but with the bog standard pressure washer it struggles abit.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersHard to find out what I wanted to know about this before i bought it. I’ve never used a patio cleaner attachment before so some obvious things I didn’t know and not much info around.
First thing was how it works and can it do as well as directly blasting the ground with a turbo nozzle. There are 2 nozzles underneath and they are on the ends of a rotating arm. The arm spins really fast and the nozzles are quite close to the ground so yes it does clean well. How big it was is another thing not made clear. The nozzles are on 275mm centres so it cleans a circle about a foot diameter. Dirty water flows out from the bristles – no dirt thrown up in the air like using a jet. Up against a wall it does leave a 1 inch stripe not cleaned. I use the normal jet to move the sand and dirt after cleaning an area so sorting the corner by the wall is no problem.

There is mention in other reviews about poor instructions and I have to agree. It is a single sheet in Ikea style – pictures and no words. And it is black and white which doesn’t help with finding out what the red nozzles are for. Ikeas instruction pictures are much clearer than Nilfisks.

The storage door on the unit has the red nozzles inside when delivered and says ‘dirt hammer’ on it. The nozzles themselves have little pictures of hammers on them too. So I fitted the red nozzles. easy to fit just insert and turn 90 degrees.
I bought the Nilfisk P150 washer at the same time. It is powerful. Used with the patio attachment I have to hold the patio cleaner down. If held lightly it will take off! I could have tried adjusting the power knob but I wanted maximum cleaning. Holding it down was getting tedious so i duct taped a hammer on to the top to weigh it down – looked daft but worked perfect.

The arm spins much like a hover mower and like a mower if you hit a loose stone you know about it with the sound it makes hitting the inside of the cowling. Happened 2 or 3 times on my first outing with it but can’t see any damage. I have found the nozzles for sale as a set of 4 elsewhere for about 5 plus delivery so not a disaster if they do get gouged. Part Number 128500973

It comes with an extra lance section which I guess is to replace the standard lance with a stronger version. There are screw up collars on the unit and lance section to brace the bayonet connection. I just added the extra section to make an extra long broom handle of a lance – no back ache!
As pictured is how you use it. The lance pivots down to around 30 degrees from horizontal but if you hinge it forwards so you are using the cleaner kind of backwards it will go down to horizontal to get under obstructions.
I’m writing this after having done what was an all day pressure washing job with my old set up in 3 hours with the new kit.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersLike many other folks, I have had endless problems with the ‘compact’ patio cleaner that Nilfisk bundle with their power washers. The compact has a thin rotating bar with nozzles that are just barely tilted at the end. Once they clog up even slightly, the direction of spray changes in such a way to make the cleaner unbalanced. The net result is that it just doesn’t spin properly, no matter how much you fiddle with it. I was trying to decide between this and the much more expensive ‘plus’ model, and in the end decided to go for this as it’s the cheaper option.

Well, the difference between the ‘compact’ version and this model are absolutely night-and-day. The spray bar has a proper angled spray attachment at each end (rather than tiny notch), which means that the direction of water spray is much more controlled. I have had great success cleaning my patio and (very muddy) brickwork path. The force and consistency of spray is much, much better with this thing than I ever expected.

Quite why Nilfisk bundle such a rubbish patio cleaner with their power washers is beyond me. This is an absolutely essential upgrade.
