This product is absolutely brilliant to use and works first time. It’s really thick, so easy to spread without making a mess and it’s easy to comb through. It was effective on first use.
This was amazing results. I’ve struggled to find the right solution for my child’s hair and this was something else. Literally put the stuff on for 2 hrs washed the hair and the nits fell out before we even brushed the hair the result was amazing. My child is now free from nits. Definitely worth buying if you have tried all other solutions and they haven’t worked well.
I saw this product advertised online while searching for other solutions to my daughter’s issue. It came highly recommended, so I said I’d give it a try.
One treatment. 2 hours in (which they advised for thick hair and bed in infestations), comb through and wash out. That was a month ago, and the nits have not come back.

You may need to wash the hair again the next morning to ensure all the liquid is out as it is quite greasy. Completely clean hair this morning though 🙂
It does the job, I have tried a lot of different treatments they all do the job, I used this twice on my child’s hair as directed, she didn’t like it as it was greasy but it did do the job I purchased it for.
So I’d tried a lot of the products that are on the shelf and none of them had worked! Two months after a huge battle, and daily combing and conditioning, putting tea tree oil on, olive oil and god knows what else, nothing had worked. I tried this product and immediately felt a difference. The nits and eggs came out much more easier than with other products. I will say I left it on, and started combing through in the last hour. Combed until I thought nothing was there. But that wasn’t it, I still found baby nits once I washed off with fairy liquid, and conditioner. Towel dried hair, combed again. More eggs and a couple more nits. Then I used live zapper once dried. I will use product again just to be safe. Highly recommend compared to others.
I’ve used a lot of stuff in the past on my daughter when she was younger which did used to all work but suddenly the nits have come back right towards the end of secondary school and absolutely everything I have tried has not killed them. I was finding that combing through her hair, they was still alive and kicking despite the treatment.
Decided to give this stuff a go and I was not disappointed – very gloopy and thick which is probably what done the trick but killed everyone and the comb that came with it pulled so many eggs out which is unusual in itself.
Definitely need washing up liquid to get this out of the hair but it was worth it I feel more confident that I am beating this cycle!
Doesn’t smell like many other brands do and works a treat. The joys of having children at school is that we have tried a lot of brands and this is the best by far.
I was recommended this by another mum after finding a nit! Used it once.. and havnt had anything since! Took a few washes get it fully out of her hair, but I’m not complaining! It did the job.
After struggling for many weeks and several different treatments finally found something that works! Used a week apart as per instructions and it’s completely cleared everything. I used along with the nitnot comb which also is the best comb I’ve tried. Can’t recommend this stuff enough

Worked exactly as advertised. Tried multiple washes with common alternatives like HeadStart etc and they were poor. This worked right away. Follow instructions (including waiting times) and worked great. Eldest daughter has very curly hair which this product worked great on. Definitely recommend.
After my LG constantly getting nits I decided to try this ,does take longer than normal brands ,but can say she’s been free of nits for a whole 2 mths now
This is the only thing that cleared up the problem after months of trying lots of things. Would strongly recommend. I hope I don’t have to buy it again but would only buy this product if I did!
I’ve spent a fortune on different types of treatments! I wish I’d found this sooner! The 5, 10 and 15 minute treatments were all useless and had to be repeated, so I bit the bullet and bought two bottles of this instead. It may seem expensive and like a long wait, but I didn’t even need the second bottle! If we are unlucky enough to get them again, then at least we are prepared!

Over the years I have used many products for lice and none have worked. I gave up and just used a comb every two days instead. However, the last time my daughter got lice I decided to have another look and found this product with amazing reviews and wow! After weeks and weeks of trying to get rid of the lice 2 treatments with this 5 days apart and all the lice were gone! Even more impressive was that it did actually kill the eggs too! I’ve been raving about it ever since!
Instantly I knew this wasn’t like any other treatment I’d tried! It really is a serum! Felt very similar to the smoothing serum I use to control my frizz. And definitely no smell! I was in love! The nozzle makes is super easy to apply and once applied just looks like you have gel in your hair (not an oily mess like some others!).
There was a pretty bad infestation in my 8 year olds hair and it got rid of them all after 2 treatments (although I’m rechecking nightly just in case!). And what’s better is that she had no reaction!!!!! Hooray!
Now normally I buy 2-3 bottles for 1 treatment between my girls then have to buy more for the second treatment. This bottle did not only their hair for 2 treatments but mine own as well! And I probably have enough left to treat myself again if I needed too.
Note – my girls both have 18 inch hair (root to tip) and THICK! Mine is much shorter (8ish inches) and I have shaved sides and back!
Just wish I could treat my twins with it but both currently under 2 so don’t want to risk their sensitive scalps!
I washed out with store brand washing up liquid, followed by two washes with their regular shampoo and a good condition with their regular conditioners. However I forgot to bring the washing up liquid in with mine the first time so just washed twice with my normal shampoo and it came out just as well (but remember I’m the one with the short hair!).

We used this very thoroughly on first application, my daughters hair is loooooooooong ( and I mean it reaches the back of her knees long ) and it is really thick too, hence our major problem of getting rid of the critters. It was a nightmare and I mean a nightmare.
We sectioned the hair bit by bit and spent hours going through it . Adding the product and combing it through. It was painstaking but was worth the effort because after one application – it worked ! Critters were gone . Dead .
We did a follow up application seven days later , not quite as carefully and then following this we continued to check for about two weeks by combing the hair to make sure we had no escapees .
This Product is thick , it’s almost like glue ! But blimey does it work. Well worth the money and the effort. Plus , we have loads left and you can see the length of the hair .
This product isn’t easy to remove , but it’s completely non offensive so it doesn’t smell or anything , any residue can be completely washed out on a later wash . If you use a spot of fairy liquid and scrub the scalp it does lift . Then shampoo and conditioner as Normal. Her hair was actually amazingly beautiful after all of the product was out and it was re washed and conditioned.
I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to for this. I was massively skeptical of this working. I’ve struggled with my daughters hair since last August and have used every over the counter treatment I could find to no avail.
The first time using this, all the nits were dead. I’ve used it twice on my daughters hair now as recommended and finally we are nit free.
It is very greasy and more expensive than other treatments but absolutely worth the money. I’d recommend it to anyone.
Its strange and sticky to use, feels kinda gross while its on your head, but my god it works! Bought after using the more mainstream brands and them failing miserably.
One bottle did the whole house (3 with pretty long hair and 2 short) with enough for 2 more heads left. Used that a week later on the 2 that had them in the first place, as a precaution but saw and found nothing after that first application.
Theres no smell to it, so non of that obvious day after smell some of us dreaded as kids. It does take a couple of shampoos to get it all out and not leave the hair with a greasy look, but thats expected of most products.
TLDR – Buy it, it works
I have very long hair & glued in extensions, so could not use the comb as it would pull my extensions out. I thought I would need 2x bottles for my hair. Well, it’s easy to apply and goes a long way!! I used 3/4 of a bottle and my hair is very long and thick! Left it on for just over 2 hours. Washed it out with faith liquid twice, then used my normal shampoo & conditioner once after. Washes out fine. Has actually left my hair really soft!! And I’ve not had one itch on my head since! I could literally feel them crawling on my head ANYWAY, my hair is now very soft and shiny, clean and nit free!!! This product is by far the best one out there!!!
My daughter has struggled with nits and we tried a branded item bought from a pharmacy and it caused her skin to literally blister.
Before I reached for the hair clippers to get rid of her mates in her hair I did a Google search and came across nitnot and read that it was kind to the skin.
I followed the instructions and re done after 7 days and still she had a few tiny baby ones, so redone after another 7 days and touch wood we’re now free and my daughter’s skin has remained intact! It was also easy to comb through and there was no tears from my daughter as the comb glided through.
It does need some washing up liquid to wash out but this is a small price to pay for an easy life when combing long knotted hair! (After I used the washing up liquid I put some conditioner in my daughter’s hair and left it in so it wasnt left dry)
I highly recommend this product and will buy again if we need it.

PROS
There are lots of pros to using this product outside of the ones shown in the listing. It is the only way to get a comb through my daughters very thick hair and I think this would be a good fit for anyone with thick, curly, or dry hair. I would never, ever, put fairy liquid on my children’s hair. I don’t want to deal with the damage and dryness but I can understand it’s a cheap option for dissolving the oil. I have found that if you apply any shampoo directly to the hair BEFORE water, it creates a creamy lather. Add little bits of water to make it lather more, rinse and repeat 2 more times. This has been effective at getting it out.
It is competitively priced for what’s out there but given the cons (below) the price feels a bit high as the time required to treat is so much longer than the other options out there.
CONS
This is a very time consuming option compared to other products. I like that it’s eco friendly and just one ingredient but waiting 2 hours to comb and trying to keep kids away from pillows and couches (because it transfers oil everywhere) is a stressful nightmare. Some of them will keep a towel on their heads but try doing that with my 2 year old, not a chance. Washing it out takes forever too. There are shampoo based treatments out there and other oil based options that take 20 minutes or less to be ‘effective’. None of them are 100% like I said so I tend to purchase the quicker ones and take an awful amount of care combing. I’ve even had luck using pure coconut oil with a few drops of peppermint and tea tree oil, but the same time consuming issue applies to this option (and the oily mess) but it’s the cheapest option I’ve found.
The MOST important thing you can do in this process is to repeat it in 7 days (and many times I’ve done a third treatment 7 days after that and found the lice still kicking). I love all of the advice provided in the listing, all of it is spot on in my experience, so don’t skip any of these steps and you should be lice free in no time!
I would recommend this product to people with certain hair types and older children who can be responsible and stay away from textiles. If you are short on time or have younger children, you’re better off getting a 15 minute shampoo option, combing really well, and repeating in a week. It is the same result. Hope this helps!
My 5 year old caught nits twice before the Summer holidays and I used all the rubbish from the chemist the first time – didn’t work. Second time I used this after trawling Amazon looking for help as I was at the end of my tether. My daughter has thick curly hair and the pain of combing through before I started using this was shocking – for both of us. Anyway, used this and found it a breeze to cut through her hair and comb. Used it 7 days apart and it worked like a dream. Nit free all Summer and 4 weeks after starting school again, she’s got nits again. Still had some of this left so slathered it on again and combed and pulled 3 lice out. But listen, it doesn’t matter how good the stuff is, you have to comb, comb, comb and just when you want to stop, comb again! I spent an hour combing through tonight – torture for both of us. Going over and over and I was just about to call it a day- but went through once more and pulled a louse out! This stuff helps comb thick and unruly hair so well – that’s why it’s fab.
A friend of mine has been using it on her daughter for a few months and she said it got rid of the problem completely, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered it immediately, and so far, I have only used one application, but I am very impressed. I don’t usually experience such quick results after using a headlice product for the first time, but this one has surprised me. Not only has my head stopped itching, but there is a noticeable difference in the texture of my hair, it is softer and silkier than ever which is a major bonus! However, that’s not what I am concerned about, I want these nits gone once and for all.
It also smells pretty decent, most products smell like medicine, this one doesn’t, it has a very neutral smell. With other products, I’ve literally had to hold my breath while I was using it, not with this one. Also, the application is very simple, when you unscrew the lid, there is a small cup inside the hole to keep the liquid in the bottle, pull that out (which is really easy to remove by the way), and then screw the lid back on. It’s like a kind of squeezy bottle thing, so you’ve got to unscrew another small knob on the top so that you can pour it out, if that makes sense. I’ve probably made it sound more complicated than it is, but trust me, it’s really simple!
So, my first application was a massive success, the instructions state that you need to do a second application 7-10 days after the first one and that should get rid of nits for good and break the lifecycle. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to use a nit treatment for the second time! LOL!
They also have a website which I had a look at, it’s actually very impressive, the founder of the product has a clinic in Hemel Hemstead which I think I may go and visit and get some additional advice on how to eliminate this dreaded problem for good!

On my 6 year old girl bringing these awful, annoying creatures home from school we first tried the NItWit treatment waste of money it didn’t work still had them few days later, we tried this another new one on the market as read the majority of the treatments they are resistant to now and 2 years ago it took three different treatments to get rid of them and a very burnt scalp ! This was so easy to use with the comb glidding through the hair and they were dead almost instantly , as it’s so oily very easy to get out the eggs and any nits and lice and so soothing on the scalp which had been burnt by previous treatment no scent or fragrance and totally safe to use on our one year old too. We treated all of us to be safe husband included as thought only 6 year old and myself had them but also found eggs in the one year old , 7 days later retreated us all to be safe and follow instructions found only dead eggs so effective and pleased to be free from this nightmare and we are all
Left with super shinny hair I can even get a normal comb through my daughters thick curly fuzzy hair so highly recommend this product they just need to design/sell a comb to go with it for the future .
