We normally get the Nivea spray version but it was really over-priced when we needed to buy some, so we opted to try this one.
It’s ok, takes quite a while for it to soak into the skin but did offer protection from the sun.
We’ll be going back to the spray version though, for next time.
Love the smell and the protection that this gives.
I can be quite sensitive to sun creams, some clog your skin and then give me bad heat rash but this is fab and have sworn by it for many years.
Highly recommend
I never get a reaction from Nivea sunscreens and I find it protects against burning very well. The big plus for me is the smell: I love it! Reminds me of holidays!
Product often purchased previously and remains as reliable as eve
Protects fair skin and is great as a moisturiser too. It’s Nivea.
Love the smell and the moisturiser. Not thick and waxy and covers the skin nice.
So far we have not got burnt so must be working…
Extremely well known product, which you know you can rely o
It’s ok,but you are rbbing it in for a long time. They have changed the formula, I won’t be buying it again.
I’ve used this aftersun a few times and can recommend it. It leaves your skin feeling sof
Having listened an read reviews on this product I’m happy to follow the guidelines set out and thus purchased the product knowing what I need to do with it.
Have been stuck at home for what feels like decades. I purchased this on a whim hoping it would urge my husband to book a last minute holiday abroad.
Didn’t work and still we are still here. oh well there is still next year for me.
I’ve tried and tried to find a cream that will beat this but I can’t. There will be other creams that do the same and protect you from the sun, cheaper shop bought brands, but nothing has the quality of Nivea. Yes it will stain your clothes if you’re wearing white and sweat all your suncream off but I haven’t known of another that doesn’t when you apply the correct amount, this has got better over the years though. This is light weight, easy to rub in (doesn’t rip body hair out trying to spread it) non greasy (I even use it on my face) smells great but most importantly I have never burnt with this cream. When applied correct it does it’s job. Like they say though, stay out of the sun 11-3 and cover up. If you lay in midday sun and don’t properly apply you will burn that’s not the creams fault!
Works like a charm aswell as the after sun product. Quite a small bottle though compare to the after sun bottle so apply to exposed body parts like it says apply once then after a few minutes RE apply again to make sure you cover all areas.
The cream and the after sun cream doesn’t feel too greasy nor is it oily and has a nice silky feel to it and I’ve noticed my allergies aren’t as bad when I apply it before heading out in the sun. Plus it’s always nice to take care of your skin and make sure it’s protected.
Definitely worth a try!
I was buying the spf 50 one but after I received it I realized I mistakenly bought the spf 30 one. I also released that its uva filter is 4 stars not 5 stars. It has good function of moisturizing the skin so you would not need to apply moisturizer at the same time. In fact it’s a bit too wet/greasy that you won’t want to apply any other moisturizer with this. I bought a matte powder to apply on top of the sun screen. After I got this NIVEA i also bought a Soltan Once with spf 50 and uva 5 stars, as I like the ultra screen function and the upbto 8hrs lasting sun screening function. The later is thicker, dryer, slightly whiter but also slightly less greasy. For either of these I apply the matte powder on top.

The Story
=========
I got badly burnt last week when I went to the beach, I didn’t use sun cream and told my father “I never get burnt”..
Well, fast forward a few days and I was burnt and peeling. Needless to say I won’t be out in the sun without this on me again. lol

The Positives
========
The product was great, smells nice and the price on here is better than the high street.. I saw SPF 15 for the same price in superdrug as this SPF 30 on here. SPF 30 seems to be ok for the temperature we get in the UK, I was out in 24.5 degrees, direct sun hitting me on the beach and it was fine. It’s also highly water resistant.

The Cons
=======
The only bad thing I’d say about it and this probably goes for all sun cream is you should carry some baby wipes or something to wipe your hands clean after applying. It’s not VERY sticky but you will want to wipe your hands after use.

I’m very happy overall, nice product.
Usually buy Nivea 50 factor but bought this as extra. The first time I used it my eyes stung so badly and persisted for such a long time that I went in to check with the pharmacist. They just advised to keep washing out with plenty of water. It took several days for the stinging and burning to stop. I have used this again since, but not on my face. The troble is, if you have it on your legs, then touch your legs it is then on your hands no matter how careful you are so just be aware. I did look online and it seems they may have added a new indgredient which many people seem to be hypersensitive to. Arrived in good condition and on time.
