I have this sitting by my bed to measure ambient temperature and humidity. But I also find myself using the clock a fair bit. A great little device to have.
I brought this for the Humidity Monitor as I wanted to know if my bedroom was perfect as I’ve been waking up sneezing. Now I know why with this gadget. Also comes with a spare battery which I was not expecting. I would recommend this to anyone. Worth every penny.
Very easy to turn it on and set it up I must say it’s a very useful tool for all the new parents and the older parents as well of course it is a very useful tool because it helps you to regulator temperature within the room within the wherever your baby goes so you don’t have to worry about the fact that you’re able to understand your child of course this one will tell you exactly where you need to put on your baby and how many layers to take off and put on it’s perfect for about time as well it’s perfect for you to determine what’s actually worrying the baby if it’s not the temperature it tells the time it tells you the comfort the dryness and the witnessing the air it tells you the date as well which is one of the advantages the reason is no one likes to keep up with them with the dates and stuff after being a parent is very tricky and it’s very challenging so here comes all these and little details that we generally miss ou
Great product, keep it in my conservatory. So I can keep an eye on my prize, collection of plants and see how their environment is doing. Batteries are easy to replace on amazon.
Not as large as I’d expected compared to others I’ve purchased for different rooms, but hey, size isn’t everything… Its LCD screen is very sharp, colours are great, frame looks stylish and it comes with a spare battery too. So yeah 5*
Item is amazing, it looks exactly how advertised and is easy to use with the instruction manual. The seller was kind to send a message once package was delivered to ensure I received it on time and whether I was satisfied too. Thank you!
Size of a medium hand palm, you can leave it on the desk with its tripod or stick it to wall using the sticker magnet. It displays temperature, humidity, time and year and the level of comfort dry /wet.
This is an excellent little device and covered everything we needed it for.
We have had a problem with mould this winter and this has helped keep it down. The humidity and temperature sensor have helped us to know when to ventilate our home and keep both at good levels for us. The device is easy to read , shows all the necessary items you would need (temperature, humidity, time , etc) and the magnetic back is great for putting it on different surfaces around the home (currently living on the fridge).
This is a great , simple bit of kit and works well. Would highly recommend.
I bought because thought the arrow on meter moves when it becomes dry/ wet but it doesn’t that & it doesn’t have a function (night light/glow in the dark)to see it at night. Those are the two downfalls I think. Apart from that it’s ok.
As stated before this product is Not English manufacture very misleading when the Union Jack is shown on the product it is manufactured in China. I use it works quite well.
Clear displays, both side by side were closely matching measurements in the same room.
Excellent for household use to determine levels of humidity.
I particularly like the smaller size than most others available.
These monitors are fantastic — useful and reliable, you just place it in the room of interest, and it does the rest. No more guesswork about humidity levels; we now know when to turn on the dehumidifiers, or heat, or open the windows to keep condensation to a minimum. We even purchased another one for a relative, who is as impressed as we are with its utility on this very damp island.
Temperature is easier to read from as far as 10 ft however the comfort zone indicator is not visible from across the room. I can’t judge the accuracy since I don’t have anything to compare but it roughly shows the correct temperature. The time and date is not useful and small. Its very light and has multiple options for installation.
I ordered these to place in my rooms with lots of computers in order to monitor the temperature. They work pretty great with the temperature and humidity written big and easy to read.
Based on the humidity, there is a bar which shows you how comfortable it should be, this is nice as for most people, the percentage humidity doesn’t mean a lot and I don’t know what a good humidity is.
It also has the time and date in smaller underneath which is handy to have.
My only issue is the mounting. It comes with a small metal piece that has adhesive on one side, you can stick this to the wall and then using the built-in magnet, stick the monitor to the wall. The adhesive is quite strong and the magnet can hold the meter. The issue is that the magnet is quite weak and the slightest knock knocks it off the wall, I have helped this by moving it next to the door frame to stop people from knocking it which has helped but isn’t a great solution.
If you just want to leave it propped up on a table however, I would definitely recommend.
T i p : When I first switched these both on, there was a big disparity between the two readings but after about an hour when I compared the devices again, they were giving me exactly the same readings. SO, when you receive these (or any similar devices), switch them on and give them time to acclimatise!
In terms of accuracy, I think they are pretty reliable: I compared them to other devices I own and found these to be generally consistent with up to 1 degree higher and 2-4% difference in humidity when placed alongside others. I have no way to know which is the most accurate but this level off accuracy is okay for my needs.
The LCD screen is nice and legible (though not illuminated, in case you need that feature). They have a large display that clearly shows the room temperature and humidity levels. The battery comes already installed and the only setup you need to do is the time and date which is displayed in smaller text at the bottom of the device (easy and intuitive). All good really.
N o t e s : the devices have a kickstand and a peel & stick magnetic back, so you have options for display. They use 1x CR2032 (both devices come with one battery installed and one battery spare).
NOKLEAD Room Thermometer Hygrometer
A small compact thermometer that easy enough it can be magnetized to the wall if you want to keep it in one place ( a small magnet is provided ) These also have a little stand if you want to keep it on the shelf.
The device is really easy to setup and modify the day and time stamp you can have it either 12hrs or 24hrs clock.
The temperatures are bold and easy enough to see and read, although if you looking at a slight angle you can sometimes miss read some of the numbers.
The temperature can also be set to either Fahrenheit (F) scale, the Celsius (C).
i placed this next to the thermostat and both were in the same ball park regarding the Celsius one was maybe a half degree out but all read roughly the same.
the humidity on the other hand all were reading the exact same which was around 55% so i believe this to be accurate.
when you place this in another room it can take up to a couple of minutes to get a reading however this was fast and good enough for anyone.
You do get a battery already in the device and a spare for when that runs out which is a nice touch.
Overall i would say these devices are fairly accurate
Setting time, date was really easy, hold set, then press + or – to switch between, once set the next one displays to change, until you have gone through data and time. Press – when everything is ready to switch between 24 hours and back.
It doesn’t update as fast as my old one though and doesn’t display a memory of the max and minimum temperatures and humidity levels just for reference I always like these memory functions on them, a shame these 2 devices don’t have memory functions, but time date and humidity and temperatures was good enough, plus it has a powerful magnet at the back built into the device, it comes with metal adhesives if you don’t want to put it on the fridge which is already magnetic. I personally put mine on the fridge.
I can say it was easily worth its 4 stars for coming in pairs too with backup batteries which combined backup batteries, should technically last many years so good value too. If battery doesn’t last as long as I think, I will update this review but pretty sure they will last a few years each providing you don’t play around too much with the buttons.
Only just received this, so this is a first impressions review. Really easy to set up — you just have to remove the battery protector and then set the date and time, and (if you wish) switch to Celsius display. To get at the buttons you have to lift up the hinged stand, it comes right up to a perpendicular position. Access to the function buttons is still a bit cramped, but fairly easy to use. You also get a second, spare battery to put somewhere safe.
The display is nice and clear, with large figures for the temperature and humidity. I can’t comment on how accurate they are, though the temperature feels about right.
One star knocked off because: (1) As others have noted, there is no backlight, which isn’t a problem on a sunny day like today, but might be at other times. And (2) annoyingly it displays dates in US style m/dd with no option to switch to the more usual format. On a day like today (22 Jan) you won’t misinterpret 1/22, but on many dates you’ll have to do a little bit of mental gymnastics. But I got it as a thermometer, not a calendar, so I’ll live with that.
This NOKLEAD Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer comes complete with an installed (CR2032) button cell plus one a spare in the pack. The unit has a mounting magnet built into the back or a foldout stand plus an instruction book is included in the pack. The thermometer is compact with a thin bezel around its LCD display.
This unit features a manually set clock and date display. The clock can be 12or 24 hour but the date follows a non UK convention of the month then then the day. There are two views of the clock/date feature, it could be handy but you do have to manually set it which is slightly fiddly plus you’ll have to adjust it for daylight saving time.
The temperature reading is large and clear plus easily switchable between Fahrenheit and Centigrade and the humidity figure is clear too. I like the graphic indicator for the humidity level which ranges through dry, comfortable and wet. The temperature and humidity seem accurate. One disappointment is that the display doesn’t have a backlight which could be inconvenient in some situations.
Overall, this is useful and apparently accurate device albeit, it has the added complication of time/date setting plus no backlight, only you will know if the two latter issues matter in your situation.
