Personally to me it’s the best phone I’ve owned.
The photo quality is fantastic as is the screen resolution and can record in 60FPS.
Admittedly I’m prone to quirky, unique gimmicks which the rear lights certainly provide.
I also love the design and thankfully makes use of andriod and a mostly straightforward UI.
Negatives
– It’s battery is rather poor. Can last a full day on standby but particularly heavy use you’ll likely get about 75% if a days worth.
– Size is a bit too large and thus quite easy to drop or fall out of smaller pockets, (case definitely recommended)
– Some minor glitches in UI (one being, I can’t swipe the menu all the way down to access all features and easily access brightness)
Picked up this phone around November 2022 and have kept it since. The phone feels as premium as any iphone but half the cost. It runs stock Android which is continually updated for the next 3 to 4 years, updates are very frequent which so far have aimed to boost security and increase battery life. Millage will differ per person but I am very tech heavy and get around 1 and a half days before needing to top up.
The main reason of getting this phone is for the very nice OLED display @120hz and edge to edge screen (equal bezels on all 4 sides) which are normally on higher priced phones. The chip step is upper mid tier, the same as any other phone in this price range. This may put off some people hearing that but phones these days have all the power that is needed for youtube, some heavy applications, etc. for several years, unless you really need that 3D scanning feature the iphone pro has then go nuts.
Finally, the Glyph lights are what everyone says about the phone. Its pretty much useless but a funky design and I love it.
Overall, great phone, low cost, packs a punch, build quality and feel is top tier and no bloat wear unlike some rivals. *cough* Samsung *cough*
Its a good phone, bit of stutter when waking but other than that its a good mid range phone
Not sure if amazon throw items around but the issue I had with the phone seems like a weird one, won’t buy from here again. Direct from Nothing site or store is again definite
Battery Life could be better but the charging time makes up for it, the display looks amazing and if you change the settings, there isn’t anything to complain abou
7/10
Wifi charging is great and the ability to charge my wifi headphones via the phone itself is awesome
PLEASE PLEASE look into this phone before spending out on others with exactly the same build quality and features.
The screen is absurdly good for the price, silky smooth 120hz while also being a beautiful oled with a huge range of brightness and wide color range that is a treat to look at, yet somehow with all these awesome things the battery life somehow still lasts over a day of regular use. You just can’t do much more to make this phone better, for 300 it is ultimately the best phone you can buy.
I’m looking forward to seeing future products from Nothing because I genuinely believe they have the potential to fill the gap HTC left and give Samsung a run for their money, quality well designed phones for a rediculously good price.
The unboxing experience is unique.
It looks really nice, even better in real life.
The phone is quick at loading apps and had no crashing or stuttering in that time I’ve had the phone.
The finger reader is instant.
The hepatic is really good and makes the phone feel premium.
The camera quality is very good, especially at this price.
This is my first phone with wireless charging and it works great. Takes about 1h 40m 0-100%
This feels like a well built and stylish phone.
I will update if any issues occur but I would definitely recommend this phone after my time so fa
I usually use flagship models, but this phone was very attractive so I bought it second hand.in hand is exactly what I needed ..so finally a different phone and definelly so nice!; the ui is very cool,as the display and speakers. The system is very quick but if you a heavy user it s not as fast unless you down the animations to 0.5
Camera not sure as I don’t use it, but it looks more than good.
Battery not the best but it always does the day hands down.
On android 13 fingerprint ,ui speed and system looks have improved actually
Its a good phone, takes some getting used to. Wish i brought the higher ram versio
A good phone. The only thing I miss is the app package to manage everything and backup the files instead of using Google/ android apps and research compatible apps, especially for the twin apps settings. Video guidelines from the manufacturer regarding settings would help save precious time instead of researching the net for reviews and tips.
Great phone, well designed and cool. The few issues it has can and will probably be solved with software updates
The phone works great and feels high quality, the battery lasts two days (I use the phone for mails and occasional chatting) The only issue I had so far is when using it under direct sun light the backlight sometimes doesn’t adjust well enough but other than that what an amazing phone
I was very surprised the camera is that good.
It’s true that fingerprint scanner is a bit sketchy. The only thing It bothers me is the position of the buttons. I got it for a week now and got so many screenshots taken by mistake.
Battery holds me for a full day, with YouTube running for about 4hours.
Advice:get the updates and look on web for tips and tricks for the phone.
Overall price vs quality is great.
Finger print reader doesn’t work great even without any screen protector. If you like privacy screen protector, then you basically says goodbye with finger print.
Face unlock sometiems doesn’t detect well even though I added my face for two times (max).
They don’t have music pause, play thingy on lock screen.
Auto brightness sucks
Pros:
This phone is great for people don’t care about gaming, don’t care about constantly sharing their moment on Insta or Snapchat or anything. And it looks really nice. It’s about the size of iPhone Max, I was not ready for this because I am iPhone mini person. But yeah, watching some youtube videos on this is good.
Two sims, decent battery, and it’s android. Just go through some settings to get rid of Google, and its very nice to use.
High storage.
Battery life lasts a bit more than other phones.
The camera was good quality but bad at night and had issue like sun glare.
Cons:
Lack of customization on background, font and icons.
Lack of useful features.
For what it’s worth it is good but not great in price value.
Some mobile games drain the battery fast.
Phone still going strong after a few months now.
The one I received was manufactured in July 2022 in China. There is no dead pixel, green tint and dust & moisture under the glass. Maybe I am lucky, I don’t know.
Upgraded to the latest firmware 1.1.6 right away, this phone is very fast and smooth. The processor although mid ranged feels the same speed as the S22s. It installed and ran all the apps I use without any issues. I was worried about the stock Android UI being inferior to the Samsung One UI but it turned out better than expected. The only thing I’d still like to see is the option to lock the icons on the home screen and transparent background on the app drawer instead of a single solid color.
At this point, I am only uncertain about the stability of the OS. If there is no random crashes, reboots etc in the coming weeks, then I would say Samsung is facing a really serious threat. Carl Pei seems to have gotten it right on the first try. Looking forward to Nothing Phone 2
This is a great phone size of iPhone pro max and pretty much most features an iPhone has. I switched from an iPhone to this android phone and it was reasonably easy. The quality of photos and video is amazing. Cost is 400 so significantly cheaper then an iPhone and monthly SIM bought seperately for 1.99. I bought it as I liked the glyph lighting the phone has – that’s just for fu
Enough has been written about this phone so I’m not going over old ground other than to say it’s extremely good value for money. Despite the oldish processor it’s fast, the screen is ok, everything responds well and of course it’s got gimmicky flashy lights on the see through back. Regarding those lights my only criticism is the charging level light is a great idea but it goes out a few seconds after plugging in and only comes back on if you lift or move the device, makes it of little point to be honest.
Looking like an iPhone but performing with the best mid range Androids I’d say it’s worth a punt if you want a decent phone that looks pretty good and don’t want to spend stupid money on the outrageously priced top end models.
Basically is any other android phone but those LEDs are some personal touch!!!for the moment is in test for baterry lifespan, until now i’m more then happy…around a full day with some hardlife…but if used in normal condition is gone go up to 2 days!system in moving quite fast..apps are moving properly…is a bit heavy with the case!a bit big as a screen, some struggles trying to use it with 1 hand!a bit disapointed about the lack of camera button missing! phones deserves to be tryed on my personal opinion!5 star from me!lets hope that the next ones will be better then the most of flagships on the market!well done NOTHING PHONE TEAM!
