Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI needed something that would be powerful enough to charge my laptop whilst working on the go, needless to say this does the job.

The cooling can get loud but that depends on how much power you’re drawing through it (the more power you draw the more work the coping fan needs to do). It’s been able to charge a laptop and two mobile phones all at the same time quite comfortably.

Just note: I would not recommend using this with the engine off.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this to charge up my laptop & power banks when off grid. It’s 300W but if you do your calculations then like all of these inverters around 120W is the most you should be using it for on your lighter socket. A few small cons – the mains socket doesn’t have the usual safety shutters and worse it’s mounted the wrong way up making it impossible to use without putting it on it’s side or upside down (the supplier says this is ok). Some fan noise but it’s mostly wind noise so not much they could do about that. All in all I am satisfied with it for the price paid.

Does the job. I left it inside the car overnight and in the morning when I started to use it a funny noise came from the inside. After a while it stopped. Now is working fine but beware that this is not the best quality inverter.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHad quite a few inverters to charge my laptop whilst travelling. 1st one blew up after 2 days, 2nd after 2 weeks. Got a different type from Amazon. Lasted a year before it gave up, got used every day tho. Tried to find the same one again and this is the closest in resemblance I could find. Got to say it is much better than the one I wanted to buy again! I like the way you can still charge usb appliances even when the inverter is switched off on the rocker switch. So far so good after 2 month heavy use.

This is brilliant, so useful. I work away a lot and need my laptop. I use this so I can plug in my laptop whilst in the car.

Another bonus about this is the usb slots, it recently had a long drive in a van with no USB slots to keep my phone on charge whilst using maps so I used this.

I’ve had this over a year its still sitting in my car and still gets used often. Only complaint i have is its quite noisy and the cable could do with an extra couple of feet on it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOK for charging phones , tablets or to slowly charge up a laptop . In an emergency it would be handy .
Only very low wattage items will charge up due to the 300w output from the device . Not advisable to buy for any other high power items such as kettles or hairdryers etc as these will blow the fuses . All the same its handy to have in the rear of the car for kids to keep devices charged while on a journey and at a very reasonable price also . I will invest again in a higher wattage device for the kettles and hairdryers etc
