The label printer is amazing to save on getting all print labels from a normal printer and then having to stick it to the box / package. This puts the ease in pace and prints onto thermal paper directly to a waterproof label with a sticker background
The device can be connected via Bluetooth storage from your phone / device or direct via the included usb cable, software is very easy and convenient and the speed of printing is almost instantly presented
Easily swop out other size printer labels and change the setting in the software to print your desired profile
This label printer is a game-changer for my small business. It spits out labels incredibly fast, and I no longer waste money on ink. Setup with my computer was easy, and it works with all the major shipping platforms.
As advertised. Works just fine.
Printer is quite simple to use and set up, instructions are clear enough.
I like that the printer is small and compact, doesn’t take much space. Print quality is also good.
The only minus is that it is not portable, it is wired, but other than that, it is worth considering.
Solid, easy to use but expensive. That basically sums up this label printer. I would imagine this is aimed at medium sized offices / enterprises who’re going to be heavy users in order to make it worthwhile as you pick up one of budget labellers for under 90. That being said this was easy to use and install once the drivers and the design package were downloaded. It integrates with a number of couriers as well as the fulfilled by Amazon service so I reckon that’s what you’re paying a premium for. Price aside, a good produc
I recently got the Omezizy Bluetooth Thermal Label Printer, and I’m happy overall. Setup was a breeze — it includes drivers for Mac and Windows, plus the mobile app for wireless printing. Just note: wireless only works from your phone or tablet; for a laptop or desktop, you’ll need the USB cable. They can’t all share the printer wirelessly at once.
Design-wise, it’s compact and easy to move around if needed. It works with a huge range of label sizes, so whether you’re running an Etsy shop or shipping with major carriers, you’re covered. You’ll need to buy your own labels, but that’s standard.
The mobile app is where this printer shines! It’s got loads of templates, which saves a ton of time, and you can print right from your phone — no cable mess. Print quality is excellent, so your labels will look crisp and professional. Best of all, it’s fast, which is a lifesaver if you’re dealing with lots of orders at once.
Overall, this printer has been a huge help to my small business. If you can work with the wired-only connection for computers, I highly recommend it for its versatility, wireless ease, and print quality.
The first time I’ve used the printer my barcodes couldn’t get scanned at the post office.
But from the second time I’ve used it everything was fine, weird one, so far I’m happy with it, it’s quite fast and makes my life much easier.
****I had left a review based on a difficulty I was experiencing but I realised the problem had actually been from my end, there was a jam on the printing area. Since I removed it, all’s been going smooth and beautiful***
The printer worked well the first time I used it and by the second time, I’m not sure what went wrong as it began printing and leaving gaps that make the barcodes unreadable. Please can I get some help with this or something?
The printer works a dream. Great quality labels and it prints very fast. Easy to setup and get running following the instructions. Although I had a small issue with the printer, the companies support was absolutely brilliant. They responded immediately and sorted the issue promptly. I highly recommend this company thanks to their fantastic support team.
I purchased this printer to print shipping labels, with the initial printer supplied problems were experienced but this has been satisfactorily resolved in the warranty period by the despatch of a replacement item.
This printer is brilliant and so easy to understand and to use especially to people who haven’t used one like this before. It’s speedy and best of all you never need to buy ink. The communication from the sellers are amazing as well and sent me a whole new printer!
This is a great little printer which I use mainly for barcode labels and shipping labels. The print quality is good, super fast and easy to use with a computer or phone. Plus the printer looks good and only takes up a little space.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the first printer I was sent had ongoing problems whenever I changed to a different label. It seemed like it would randomly correct itself whenever it felt like it not when I ran the suggested resets and updates. Despite the problems, Customer Service was excellent. They always got back to me as soon as they could, tried various trouble-shooting things and eventually when, in the end it just wouldn’t start working again, they sent me a replacement which arrived the next day. So far so good with the new printer and I’m very happy with it. The level of service from the customer service team gives me confidence to recommend this product.
I downloaded the app. I haven’t yet installed it on my pc. This printer is great. I like how large you can print labels ect. I made a design on Canva, saved it as a PDF and it printed it right away. I have a small label printer but this one is more superior. It would be great if there were more templates on the app such as product labels where you can edit and print. I use this to label jars in my pantry, (the label paper doesn’t stick well on fabric). This is great for my small business as I can print shipping labels easily.
This is my first thermal printer and loving it so far now i have got to grips.
I will say though the machine comes with orinter quality auto set to recommended
But i found the quality was not as good because for instance on royal mail labels where their logo is at the top right it was all wrong and the letters were not good at all, i tried to out the quality to better….this actually and oddly made it worse
And guess what….the best setting for all labels so barcodes come out perfect for scanning etc is about 2 lol.
Also if you are using the fan style labels and you happen to have just 1 thats not attached to any others the machine seems to not like it and it just pushes it out the front without printing onto it….i switched to rolls as its way easier and got a bargain on another site
It’s a really good printer that doesn’t take up much space on my desk. Great quality text print and fast printing. Its easy to set up as the instructions were very clear. Although photo printing isn’t great, but black and white drawings come out clear. I have used it for shipping labels and it scans in shops. Overall, great printer.
I love this printer so much. It was so easy to set up, so effective and the quality was great! The chrome add on was really straightforward and the actual labels print so quickly.
This is a game changer for my small business as its compatible with Etsy!
Aside from postage labels, the possibilities are endless and I’m really excited for this!
The Printer.
The printer is a sturdily built lil machine. Small but powerful. Understandably it has to be plugged in to work, but it’s small enough you could easily find a spot for it, or take it with you where you need to go. If printing via mobile you can print via Bluetooth, but printing via computer you have to use the included cables.
Pressing the buttonnonntop of the printer for different lengths causes different actions, from printing a test page, pausing or skipping printing all the way to a factory reset.
One thing that wasn’t instantly clear to me was that you have to ensure the printer ‘identifies’ the label when you load it, by holding the top button down until the light flashes blue twice. It might be because I don’t have to do this on my other printer, but once I got used to it it became second nature. This is another fantastic thing about this machine; if a label size (up to 4 inches wide) can fit, you can use it with this printer.
Admittedly I did not have the easiest start with this printer. I intended to primarily use it via the Android app and it would print off centre, before it began not printing at all (though the self test page would still work, so I knew the printer -worked-)
It did however mean that I had lots of experience with the customer service team, and they were all fantastic, polite, and in the end helped me to get the printer working. (Installing the app on my laptop and using that to print worked, and then somehow kick-started printed via my phone to work). Having read other reviews of this machine where people are able to use it from the get go, I very much think this was a rare incident.
Labelife Mobile:
Having used Print Master for my other Phomemo printer (M221) I had high expectations for this app. What I should have remembered is my other label printer is more for small business/craft use whereas the BT-241 is primarily for shipping labels and what feels like more ‘professional’ work. I feel the app reflects this. Unless I missed something I was unable to change the font when writing text, but really this is my only bug Bear. (That and when you search for a label size the search text is white, so it’s very difficult to see what you are typing, but I prefer scrolling down the label options.)
Being able to import PDFs and images is very easy. There are so many different label sizes to choose from (and you can manually enter the size you’ll be using too) so it feels you really can use any size label that can feed into the machine.
Any labels you create can be saved so that if there is something you would want to print frequently it’s easy to do. You can also name these files to make them easier to find.
I briefly used the computer software too and it seemed equally as easy to use. The computer app does include different font options, which was nice, but it’s a shame they’re not in the mobile app.
The software was super simple to install and I didn’t need to separately install drivers for it to work (I believe you only need to install the drivers if you want to be able to access the printer via the ‘print’ function of your computer? If you plan to just use the app you don’t need to do this.)
Conclusion:
Despite a rocky start this is a fantastic little printer. If you sell on eBay, Etsy etc it will be a solid yet low cost addition to your business. Not only this but being able to use almost any size label that will fit in this machine (up to 4 inches wide) means it can be used for an incredible range of uses.
Pros:
Easy to use Apps on mobile and computer
Loads of label options
Thermal so no pesky ink to worry about.
It’s purple!
Wonderful Customer Service team to help out.
Cons
Requires Mains power
Would have liked different fonts in mobile app
The printer took seconds to set up which was very convenient. It easily connected to my iPhone using Bluetooth and I could print any images through their app LabelLife. I believe it also connects with android devices also comes with USB. You can also print PDF Documents and create labels. Would highly recommend this product and skip all the hassle with setting up most new printers.
Better then expected, very easy to setup. Took a about 2 minutes before I was printing. The android app is straightforward and got to work easily.
Only point to consider would be a stand/holder for the labels as it does not come with one as standard.
Overall love it for the size and functionality.
I previously had a smaller thermal printer that wasn’t able to print shipping labels and also had a sketchy print head. This printer is way more robust and the print quality is perfect. No misprinted lines or dots left on the prints.
The app isn’t great for creativity, but is perfect at batch printing shipping labels.
There are plenty of work around is you do want to do something a little more creative with your labels though.
This has easily made my shipping label printing process 80% quicker, and it’s so quick and simple to set up. I highly recommend this for anyone running a small business!
If like me you like ordering a lot but hate dealing with returns then this item is the perfect addition for your household.
Taking the item out the box I was initially a little daunted by the design but it was so easy to set up. Simply insert the plug, turn on and feed the machine the sticky sheet and it will do all the work.
Pairing to my iPhone was easy and I was able to load up a Evri label without any issue and the printing was super fast.
The only cons I would say is I would have hoped it was battery powered. I don’t see me leaving it plugged in so setting up each time is disappointing but if you print a lot of labels then you can leave plugged in without issue.
I have no issues recommending this product. Print was crisp, tested it with a label for Amazon and it scanned without any issues. Product comes with a sample of sticky labels which was appreciated.
Amazing I love it. Total game changer. Easy to set up and use would of been been if rechargeable but never mind.. I use evri a lot it was do much easier to print the labels out instead of going to the parcel shop to have them print for me. Small and compact so east to put away when finished with. Also love the fact that’s its thermal and doesn’t need ink cartridges
Pros:
– small, doesn’t take up much space
– doesn’t need ink
– quick to print!
– comes with preset templates on the app
– comes in purple!
– good quality print with clarity on text and even images if you print something big enough (see attached image for a photo print)
– easy to fix if there’s a paper jam!
Cons:
– set up was a little fiddly and the link on the instructions was blocked by my browser as a suspicious website. Used the mobile app instead which was fine!
– requires an external power source
– labelife app isnt as intuitive or easy to use as the other phomemo products. Felt a lot more limiting if you want to make your label in the app rather than importing something premade
Makes printing my labels so easy. I did look at others but this came out as best value. I did have to buy a label holder separately though for the label roles.
I’m so glad I chose to get a slightly more expensive thermal printer, it’s definitely been worth the money! The app is super easy to use and the printer quality is awesome
Bought this as I have a lot labels to do for different thing s works great. First you only get 6 labels when printer arrives . So worth ordering more asap. Print size iv found the works well is with 7.5 and hight 5.5 then just crop from btm to top left where the label appears in the app review and print . It would be great if it saved the settings a small issue but have to say I very happy and would buy again if I needed another one. Arrived on time .
I have been looking for a good thermal printer to print my Royal Mail labels for a while now so I thought I would give this one a try. What a brilliant piece of kit. Very easy to install and the print quality is very good. Comes with a small pack of labels to get you going. Omezizy have also been in contact to see if they can help with any questions I may have. Great customer service. This is the perfect product for all your label needs.
I bought this thermal printer as my Etsy business has continued to grow and grow to the point where for a couple of months it has been crazy busy and I am constantly at the post office in queues and holding up the queue too whilst they process all my parcels.
The set up of this printer was so easy! its literally plug and go. It took me a little while to realise I was doing it wrong as I hadn’t selected the size format of the postage label I wanted to print in Etsy before sending it to the printer. Once I spotted this the problem was solved and away I go.
The only thing I’ve found so far that is negative is that sometimes it feeds 2 labels through when I only need one, so prints on one and then sends a blank one through behind it which you can’t reverse without opening up the inside and putting the label feed back to where it was. Bit annoying as I hate waste.
I have also been using it to print off small round stickers which are fun and also allow me to create my own pretty stickers. I pop all of my parcels in the local parcel postbox which saves me loads of time and means I can do it of an evening too.
