My son is using this brush for quite a while now and I should say the brush is good. Changing the heads and charging is really easy. The offer price was a deal. Really happy with it.

Bought this for my autistic child as a replacement for a battery operated one and he absolutely loves it! He loves the sensation and feedback he gets from it which makes brushing his teeth a lot easier.

Vibrates when you need to do the next 1/4 of teeth, lovely colour although our son would have preferred a blue brush

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGood quality toothbrush that has really encouraged my daughter to clean her teeth for longer. But there are some things that I think could be improved for a start it takes AGES to fully charge the brush (at least 24hrs). I think other reviews which have said the battery runs out too quickly is probably down to them not charging it for long enough (you have to wait until the green light stops flashing). The charge on ours lasts about a week and a half. It’s just annoying that when it needs charging again it takes so long!

Also think for the price it should come with two brush heads so you have a spare. It only comes with one brush head.

Other than that the brush is doing a good job and I particularly like that it vibrates every 30 seconds to prompt my daughter to change to the next part of her mouth, ensuring she’s brushed all teeth well. It then also vibrates when the 2 mins is up, so I know she’s brushing for the recommended time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll good, but it’d be nice if it could turn itself off after 2 min cuz I forget to stop brushing. Also, don’t forget that you’ll need a shaver adapter plug in for this toothbrush.

Even is you choose not to buy one of these, I can recommend the accompanying video on how to brush teeth.
Toothbrush is a nice colour, different to adult designs. It looks like it will be useful into teenage years and beyond as the head is a regular round size.
The charging light is helpful to confirm the brush is charging, and to show if it is out of charge too.

Daughter was being a bit slacking with her brushing. This one makes noise and helps to keep her teeth clean. Massive improvement in her willingness to brush and more important the cleanliness of her teeth and improvement in her gum health. Went out and purchased adult version for myself. Highly recommend

The novelty of the toothbrush doesn’t seem to have worn off yet and he is brushing is teeth daily which is a win for me. A very good price point to start with before moving on to one of the more expensive ones in time. The timer function is perfect to make sure he doesn’t brush his teeth for a few seconds. Definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat for juniors, my son is quite happy with it and it means his teeth hopefully get brushed properly. The battery doesn’t last as long as an adult electric toothbrush however it’s still holds charge for a week/week and half

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersBought for my 7yr old. Works well when the user is prompted, would suggest hanging around else it gets switched off vey quickly. It doesn’t feel heavy but I’m not seven so this may explain why in never gets put back where it came from after use. It also leaves caked on tooth paste in the sink, although I believe this is also user error. One thing we have found is it’s reluctance to return home after sleepovers, it my have a longing for scenery change, who knows what goes through a leccy toothbrush’s anti-plaque head? But on numerous occasions ‘don’t forget your toothbrush’ has fallen on deaf ears and the trusty pink handraulic has had to come out of the cupboard to save the day.
Good toothbrush let down by youth

Nice toothbrush, with lovely colour. My daughter loves it and has no troubles holding it. The Timer is accurate, but the buttery life seems to be short as it needs charging a lot more often that other electric toothbrushes we use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy daughter (9) gets on very well with this brush and has more effective cleaning than with her manual brush. I certainly find it easy to use on her teeth (I am a dentist) and trust Oral B products for most oral hygiene measures. The motif is attractive to children and the handle is easy to hold. The brush head is soft enough and the vibration not troubling. The brush is easy to handle and switch on and off. It needs more regular charging than my electric toothbrush, but once a fortnight is sufficient. You need a two pin adaptor plug to plug it into the wall.

I was trying for ages to get my son an electric toothbrush that he liked. One thing he particularly likes about this one is that although it has a two minute timer, it doesn’t turn itself off like many do. He wants to do his teeth for longer and this means he doesn’t have to turn it back on again. One thing he doesn’t like is how noisy and whirry it is but he’s got used to it. He loves the purple colour too. Good for the price.

My son loves this toothbrush! He was 7.5 years old when we first bought it and has no issues with how it feels in his mouth. As a parent I find it easy to use on my son and keep it clean, my son is also able to use it although it looks a bit awkward in his hands and takes a bit of practice to ensure he is using it properly.
The timer function is a vibration felt through the handle every 30 seconds to prompt you to move onto the next quadrant, I love this feature and helps to ensure the teeth are fully cleaned.
To ensure the brush remains in good order it is best to remove the head and rinse it, then dry the handle rather than leave the head on the handle after use, our brushes are still immaculate after almost 6 months use.

I like this product in general the 30s timer is great for children to brush each side, basic brush, however it has very long charging time for a product of this type, I feel battery operated version gets better lifetime on AA batteries than this on single charge, so for that taking the stars away, also it has bathroom socket (shaver) plug, but we used EU converter to charge it off mains as the cord is very short and awkward to charge it in our bathroom

  26. SkyeMontalvo says:

Our son is a very reluctant teeth-brusher, in part due to being on the spectrum (same as myself) and the sensory issues when brushing teeth. However he is using this toothbrush twice a day consistently and hasn’t moaned about doing so at all in the last few days. The toothbrushes buzzes every 30 seconds so he knows when to move to the next part of his mouth and has four short buzzes at the end so you know time is up. Kiddos teeth are cleaner and he’s finding he is less bothered by the toothpaste even (toothpaste=bad) so I think the rotary action of the head spreads the toothpaste out quicker so it bothers him less?!? Only downside is the battery light – it indicates when it needs charging, which is fine but it doesn’t stop blinking green when charging (when fully charged it should stop flashing). Not a biggie, it’s lasted two weeks, brushing twice a day before needing a charge so just need to be mindful of how long it’s been on charge for rather than relying on the light.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a great brush for kids that have outgrown the smaller Oral-b Stages range but aren’t quite ready to use adult toothbrushes yet. As a Junior toothbrush it looks more grown up without any unnecessary stickers or characters. It feels lighter to hold and the motor seems less powerful compared to other Oral-b adult size toothbrushes. The handle also has better grip for smaller hands. Any of the normal Oral-b brush heads are compatible with this and we liked the softness of the Sensitive one provided with it. We love the timer function because it reminds you to move and brush a different part of your mouth by making a buzzing sound and then alerts you after two minutes of brushing is complete. The only downfall of this brush is the very poor battery life, which only last a few days. It’s still a good buy for the recommended age range given the overall price and features.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good size for kids, poor battery life

I had heard that this toothbrush was extremely similar to the expensive oral b toothbrushes but for a much more affordable price and I agree. In terms of how clean my teeth feel, it matches up to my previous oral b toothbrush for adults. The timer that tells you to move on to the next quadrant feels a little rushed to me but maybe that’s because I have a bigger mouth than a child. Instead I clean the outside, inside and on top of all of my lower teeth first and once two timers have passed, then I move on to the top row and that works well for me. The battery life is a little bit poor. It takes 22 hours to charge which feels like forever and a chore when it comes round to needing to recharge it but I’ve gotten used to it. I had seen some reviews that removing the head revealed rust so I have been wiping away any water every time I’ve finished and there has been no rust yet. The head it comes with is the sensitive clean head and I really like it as it has soft bristles so it’s gentle on my gums but still effectively cleans. Any oral b brush head is compatible but I suspect non branded brush heads would be too. It’s not really important but I also love that it’s a nice colour (purple).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGetting my ten year old to brush his teeth properly can be a chore at the best of times, but with this brush I can rest assured that his teeth are getting a really good clean!
The brush is really well made and feels solid, like it will last. It is fairly soft, so I don’t have to worry about it damaging his gums. You only get one brush head included, which is a bit disappointing, as the replacements are expensive (if you buy the branded ones anyway).
The charger is brilliant, as you don’t need to insert anything into the brush (water and electric don’t mix well!), instead you just sit it on top of the plastic base and you’re done. You can plug it into your bathroom socket if you have one, or you can plug it into a regular socket using a converter (not supplied).
My favourite feature is the timer. It lets you know when you need to move position and brush a different part of your mouth and then it shuts off when you have brushed for the recommended two minutes.
All in all, I am very impressed with it for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR MY TEN YEAR OLD!
