Arrived on time in its original box. Seems to run a bit rough but that may be the brush head. I wanted a toothbrush with no fancy pancy lights and settings and speeds so this is perfect for me. It was hard to find but glad I did find it.
I have been using Oral-b for many years. I have always found them excellent. The only bad thing is trying to understand the instructions included in box I think there should be some information on length of charging times
Lasts a long long time!! Brilliant does a,superb job on your teeth & changing the brush head to what you prefer for a good clean specific to your teeth why pay more
This product is very good indeed. It’s so important to have a toothbrush that really does a thorough job and gets into areas that manual toothbrushes can’t reach. It’s a real asset.
Well worth purchasing.
Ordered this and arrived next day. This is the second one of these I have baught but can’t give it 5 stars as there is no pressure sensor on this model.
I recently started using the Oral-B electric toothbrush, and it has completely transformed my dental care routine. This toothbrush has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and overall oral hygiene. The oscillating and pulsating brush head technology provides a deep and thorough clean, reaching areas that traditional brushing may miss. I love how the brush head oscillates and rotates to effectively remove plaque and promote gum health. The battery life is impressive, lasting for several days before needing a recharge. The interchangeable brush heads are also a great convenience, catering to my specific dental needs. The ergonomic design of the brush handle feels comfortable in my hand, making brushing a breeze. Overall, the Oral-B electric toothbrush has taken my oral hygiene to a whole new level, leaving my teeth feeling clean, fresh, and noticeably healthier. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to elevate their dental care routine.
Holds battery well really pleased with the power though a little noisy but good price on the whole really happy with my purchase only hesitation is that this is my third purchase of oral B in 3years the batteries dont recharge after a year this is an upgrade so hoping it lasts longer my first one lasted several years and it was just the basic so if this lasts as well as that one I would give 5 stars
Product came on time etc etc
I was a little annoyed when after opening the box I discovered a European charger. I had looked at the product details and as far as I could ascertain the charger was English.
Why sell a product in the UK with a European charger?? Oh, is that so I’ll spend more money purchasing an adaptor?
A bit ridiculous if you ask me.
This is a nice, basic, simple electric toothbrush. I’ve found over the years that you don’t need an all singing all dancing model with different settings and app connectivity. This is good enough. It cleans well and does the job as required.
I’ve found that it doesn’t last that long after being fully charged and quickly loses power in a lot less than a week. It works best if left on charge all the time. So if you need it for travelling another model may be better. Also, it’s best to let it fully flatten every month or so and then recharge it, to improve battery health.
Those that say you need a bathroom connection are wrong. You simply need a standard adaptor which are available everywhere.
Recommended if you’re happy with a basic, effective and cost efficient model, used mostly at home and left on charge.
Well, you certainly waste less energy using one of these instead of a manual tooth brush, but what you do get more of is splatter. Honestly, one pass under the tap and a dab of paste later and there was enough paste, saliva and water on my bathroom mirror to re-float the Titanic. What didn’t end up on the mirror ran down my chin and onto my t-shirt front. I may be doing something wrong, even though I attempted to close my mouth slightly to evade the drenching.
As for my teeth, it’s probably too early to tell if the thing actually makes them cleaner than a regular brush, so time will tell. Still, none of them have been dislodged due to the ferocious speed and vibration of the brush head so I could be on to a winner.
One note of warning – let the brush head do all the work. Don’t rub the brush back and forth across your teeth. Lay it against each tooth in turn for a few seconds and work your way around the mouth. It tells you that in the instructions.
If there is a downside, beyond the splash-back, it’s the ludicrous amount of time the brush takes to recharge. The instructions advise you that when first purchased the thing can take 22 hours – yes, 22 hours(!) – to fully charge. In fact it took less than that, it only took 20…
In the interests of science, I decided to recharge the battery after my first two minute session. It took a little short of 3 hours to get back to full-charge. My advice: if you can, keep the brush in the charging unit at all times – until you want to use it. It probably uses stuff-all; electricity and it’ll save you swearing in the morning when your mirror is coated in gunk and your teeth still look like yellowing tombstones…
But for 30 off the RRP, you probably can’t go wrong…
This was purchased (Aug2017) after my wife had a bad experience with a scale and polish at the dentist, not wanting to have a repeat performance told me to go buy a ‘propper’ toothbrush like a normal family would have!
This fitted the bill perfectly. Everything you need and none of the ‘techy’ stuff that puts the price through the roof…. but doesn’t actually help brush your teeth any better.
For around 20 what you get we think is brilliant.
The brush handle/motor/battery is comfy to hold. According to our dentist this has the same basic insides as the more expensive models that oscilate and pulse.
It has a led that flashes red when it needs charging, green when charging and off once fully charged. We (family of 3) get 6 full 2min uses before it requires charging again.
The brush pulses every 30 seconds and then a longer pulse at the end of the recommended 2 minute brushing time.
The charger fits a 2 pin shaver socket so suited our bathroom vanity cupboard perfectly. This has a long enough cable to reach to a sturdy surface.
This came with 1x cross action ‘3D’ brush head. We purchased more of this same head separately . You can buy other Oral B heads that fit and have different features and bristle design.
All in all excellent value. At the last dentist appointment a ‘vast improvement’ on all 3 of us when compared to manual brushing.
Update Jan 2022
Batteries now only lasting 3 brushes and the plastic ‘skin’ around the switch has split allowing water ingress to the electrics inside so sent for recycling.
A shame it only lasted 3 yrs, but need to accept it was the entry level rechargable brush from oral b.
