its a good toothbrush which gives your mouth a nice clean feel.
i just wish there was a flashing timer light, as im hard of hearing would be better for me than a slight vibration and cant work out if thats 1 minute or 2.
Bought as a replacement. The recipient much prefers this style with the slimmer handle and the charging light. Not many features, but a good basic electric toothbrush. Compatible with the standard Oral-b base.
An excellent rechargeable toothbrush. Easy to use and stays charged for quite a long use.
Youngest has just turned 8y, and dentist recommended a ‘proper’ electric toothbrush now, especially with a round head.
As a family we’ve all got these Oral-B Pro’s, so the heads are easy to replace as we need them.
Brush isn’t too heavy for her and daughter now feels grown up
Battery life (based on ours) is around 20~25 days, so no need to cue-up for the charge
Good product that works & does the job. Charge once a week for consistent use. Buy when on offer, otherwise too expensive. Check the price of brush heads too. Depending on your needs they can be an expensive extra.
great toothbrush, cleans teeth great, love the light that says when needs charging, charge lasts a long time
I had an old electric toothbrush and the re-chargeable battery eventually just died. In between things have got more sophisticated! I like the timer and the charge lasts a decent length of time so can certainly go away for the weekend or a bit longer without packing the charger.
Cons: I was getting my brush heads from a place that recycles them (brushd) and they don’t fit this new toothbrush properly. Realise I should have gone to them for the replacement toothbrush but didn’t think. Captured by the dominance of Amazon and the big brands unfortunately
Have used Oral B for many years, this was the 3rd replacement since 2006. Shame you cannot order without the charger (which you need an adaptor to use). Brushes can be expensive and the design requires you to remove brush head and rinse after every use or mould will build up inside.
So much better than manual toothbrush and easier to reach all parts of your knashers.
Needs charging every couple of days from new. Came with an Eu plug only so I didn’t try the toothbrush until I purchased a uk conversion plug a few months later. Very disappointing as I’ve now wasted 25. Spend a little more and buy from a shop.
2 of us have been using this twice a day for over 2 years and still going. Prior to this I had a more “complex” brush with various settings. Guess what, used the gadgets for a few days, landed on one I liked and never changed. So, if you want a brush that does its job, i.e. cleans your teeth without an onboard computer that could land a rover on Mars, then get this. Its basic function is an on/off switch with 30 second vibration intervals so you can judge how long you are brushing for. Ask yourself, “what more do I need?”. Do I really need a red light to tell me that I’m pressing too hard? Do I really need bluetooth so I can track and tune my brushing technique? Maybe if those features were a few quid more then maybe for the gimmick value sure. However, you’ll pay 100’s more for that. Oh, and a quicker recharge time. Mmmm, do you really need that given you’ll probably use it twice a day? The decision is yours, at 22 (when I last looked) I’d just go for the basic brush. Only downside is that after time the intervals between recharges become noticeably more frequent. At this price just buy another!
Hi to all of u looking to buy one those electric tooth brushes.
this a simple unit tooth brush and it does exactly what it says on it i have been using it for 2 years now and i no problems thanks god its great and i only paid 15 on amazon
this unit is great because it doesn’t have to much tech on it to drain dow the battery of course if ur an idiot nd u don’t know how to use this brush than yeah battery its not going to last u 7 days but it last me brushing my teeth twice a day.
the other thing is someone has given a 1 star review on here for just not having a UK plug adopter well i would say get a grip in Life u looser its made in EU and no one has forced u to buy it.
Till now for are great and we bought 4 of them for my kids as well we all have them. u do not need the ones with to much tech on them because they will go wrong. its 2023 and i am still using them and they have been great thing to buy .
This Oral-B Professional Care 600 is an effective entry level toothbrush. It is simple but works well – my understanding is that the Oral-B Professional Care Range feature radial brushes which also pulsate/oscillate rather than more the rectangular brushes in some models. The radial action of this toothbrush certainly gives you a feeling of just having been to the dentist for a clean and polish despite it being only a single speed model. The radial brush looks a bit smaller than the rectangular versions and might be better if you have a small mouth. The brush head should last about 3 months depending on use and it has a built in wear indicator. Replacement heads are normally sold in multipacks and are not particularly cheap but apart from Sonic heads I believe you can use other styles of Oral B heads.
This is a “no frills” toothbrush from a leading make and it comes with a single brush head and charger. The charger gives you about five days brushing from a single charge – the plug is a standard two prong shaver type plug, and, if you don’t have a shaver socket you’ll need to buy an adaptor – a two pin 13amp one. The charger and main unit are cleverly designed so there are no exposed metal contracts on either device and the main unit is comfortable to hold. There’s a visual timer that flashes after the recommended two minutes of brushing but no pressure indicator so you have judge yourself how much pressure to exert, in practice, this isn’t too difficult but I believe to next model up in the ranger sports a pressure light. Finally, there’s a generous two year warranty from Oral-B.
I am a fan of electric toothbrushes as I believe they are much more effective at cleaning your teeth and I certainly cannot compete with their high speed brushing action using a manual brush. I also notice that I experience fewer gum problems when I’ve been using an electric toothbrush.
In summary, a good value and effective electric toothbrush. Recommended.
