We have had our Oral B electric toothbrushes for over 10 years but it came to the day that we had to retire them due to the batteries dying and they had come to the end of their use. Easy to clean and the battery has a long life. We got the electric toothbrushes last week and they are yet to need recharging. Oral B will be our forever go-to company for electric toothbrushes with great quality and made to last.

I’ve been using the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush for a bit now and i really like it. My teeth feel way cleaner compared to my old manual brush. The gum pressure sensor ispretty cool and tells meif I’m brushing too hard, which is good for my gums. Plus, there are 3 brushing modes!!

The built-in timer is super handy; it helps me brush for the full 2 minutes without guessing. And the battery life is awesome

Great electric toothbrush! I got this to replace my old Oral-B one, which I’ve had for many years, but was starting to lose its charge quite quickly.

It’s a lovely simple design, lightweight, and easy to use. I love the pink colour, and the small circular brush head is just perfect for my teeth! I have a few wonky ones, plus my wisdom teeth, which I need to clean thoroughly, and this really gets around each tooth very well. It does a much better job, in my opinion, than the longer toothbrush heads you can get!

It only comes with 1 toothbrush head, and the charger needs a shaver socket to power it, or you’ll need an adapter plug, (which is what I use) but considering the price, I think it offers great quality and value!

    I would definitely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality and Value

I had another electric toothbrush previously in a different make. However this is far superior. My teeth feel really clean after using. Comfortable to use. Really good value, easy to use, comes with travel case.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis toothbrush was well packaged and is still charged nearly two weeks after the first charge. Performs well and I like the little sounds when you have completed brushing on different sides. There is also a warning light that flashes when you are brushing too hard and this is really useful.
Priced well and I love the pale pink colour. Very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought for my daughter to keep her teeth and braces clean. It is so much better than her last battery operated brush. It cleans her teeth better than ever, comes with a lovely travel case, isn’t too expensive, and has a number of handy speeds / modes. She especially likes the timer and the warning if she’s is brushing too hard.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI absolutely love my pink Oral-B electric toothbrush! Not only does it look great on my bathroom counter, but it also leaves my teeth feeling incredibly clean. The different brushing modes are a nice touch, especially the sensitive one, which is perfect for my gums. The battery life is impressive too I can go almost two weeks between charges. It’s also really easy to travel with. Highly recommend if you’re looking to upgrade your brushing routine with something both effective and stylish!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBetter than expected

After over 6 years of cleaning my teeth twice a day, my old Pro 2 isn’t holding charge anymore and is discontinued so time for a new model.

I chose the Pro 3 over the Pro 1 for the longer-lasting Li-ion battery (rather than Ni-Cad) but, now that I’ve used it, it turns out there’s another reason – it cleans my teeth brilliantly (has a higher oscillation rate)! It feels more powerful and, somehow, quieter than my old Pro 2 (maybe because that was on its last legs?) and it has three modes (fast and slow like my old Pro 2 PLUS a “slow to fast, repeat” mode that I need to investigate ).

For anyone wondering about the model numbers, I found out that 3000 is the basic Pro 3 handle, brush head & charger… 3500 is a set of handle, brush head, charger AND A carry case… while the 3900 is a twin pack of 2 handles, 2 brush heads but just one charger.

The charger is exactly the same as my old one. It *is* a UK plug – just a 2 pronged one for use in *shaving sockets in bathrooms*. These sockets seem to be less common nowadays so, when going away, I now take a plug adaptor so I can use a regular power socke

It’s a good toothbrush apart from the battery life. Easy and comfortable to hold. It flashes a red light if you put too much pressure on your teeth when brushing. Other than the battery life – I can’t find fault.

Nice pink colour and looked very nice in my bathroom- worked very well, but the on/off button is not very easy to use- the press set up needs a proper on off button or slide mechanism. But as it was on a special offer I was very pleased with my purchase for a basic model. Be useful for a teenagers first electric brush as it’s very pretty.

I brought for my partner and she was ecstatic with it! Came in a timely manner and is perfect. The only thing was the charging cable. I had to get an adapter for a UK socket.

Good quality but I can’t use it because they sent me a switch that isn’t compatible in the UK. I have to go buy a converter to be able to use it which is frustrating.

I bought this to replace my old Oral B electric one when the battery started to fail. This new one is even so much better than the old one, with it’s three modes, and the carrying case too. The off/on button is a bit stiff and difficult, but other than that no problems at all. My mouth feels so good and clean afterwards, like going to the dentist! Definitely recommend.

Amazing toothbrush. In my opinion you get more than you pay for. The power of the “motor” is amazing and the pressure sensor is super useful, as when you press too much on your teeth it will decrease the speed to protect them. There are 3 different speed modes. I personally only use the first one. The grip is nice. The only thing I personally do not find too comfortable is the power button, as it’s a bit hard to find and press. It’s easy to get used to. I personally highly recommend also because you get the travel case for free, which turns out to be super useful when you travel a lot and don’t know where to put your toothbrush.

I have two if these, one is an older model. The older when has very definite buttons and much easier to turn off with wet hands. this model has the buttons buried in the rubber casing and they are hard to use when your hands are wet as there isn’t a definite defined button. I also, for life of me. cannot get these clean enough not to leave a residue on the stand. I remove the brush head, rinse the whole thing under the tap whilst on, rinse the brush too, yet there is always a mess in the base of the stand. It obviously comes from inside where you can’t seem to get at. As for the buttons, another product that changed something that didn’t need changing to justify marketing it as an updated version!

This is my first electric toothbrush and it was recommended by my dentist. I wonder how I ever managed without one, it leaves my mouth and teeth really clean and the difference between this and a manual toothbrush is amazing. The timer is great to make sure all areas of the mouth are covered, and the sensor is also a godsend to stop you brushing the gums too hard. There are a number of speeds, but a word of warning make sure you put it in your mouth before you actually switch it on or you’ll make a bit of a mess like I did on the first use …. lesson learned ! It is easy to charge and stays charged for a long time and also comes with a case for travel. If you are unsure about this product, I promise you, you won’t look back.

If you’re looking for a great toothbrush and looking mid range, this might be for you. I love the pink obviously it’s a personal choice. The different intensity settings are all great. Not sure what others are talking about when they say they can’t find the button?! It’s pretty clear where it is and it’s easy to press. I can sometimes have hand motor issues and I’ve not once had an issue with holding it over the last couple of months. All in all, worth it!

This is my first* electric tooth brush that i’ve used and I have enjoyed my experience using it.
My teeth feel much cleaner and I feel like I am taking better care than I was while using a generic manual toothbrush.

It took a week or so to get use to the pressure of the brush however wasn’t painful or anything like that, just abit strange

The only downside I have ran into is the the battery life is rather poor. There is no chance of this lasting for 2 weeks without charging, it can likely go just over a week with usual twice a day brushing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had received this item in excellent time and well packaged. I used this the same day, and I can confirm that it is a good item. What I don’t think it explains is that you won’t get an adapter for the TWO ROUND PIN for the charger that you will need to charge the battery in the item. Fortunately, I had one I used for my electric razor many years ago. I also got what is classed as pink in colour. It isn’t at all bright colour. I can’t remember asking for that, but it looks better than all-white in my opinion so I will hold on to it.

  22. Anonymous says:

I’ve been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for 50 years and this latest one is the best I’ve ever had. It leaves your teeth feeling even cleaner than previous brushes as the motor is stronger and faster.

I’m not convinced about the three different speeds but maybe others will find it useful. Also, as has been said before, it is a little slippery to hold as it is slimmer than other versions. The 30 second timers are useful when compared with the old 2 minute timer. I’ve only once pressed too hard to make the pressure sensor work.

I deliberately paid extra for a white handle so I don’t get encrusted toothpaste on the handle but as it it so easy to keep clean, the lower-cost black version with travelling case may be the better deal.

I recently switched from a manual toothbrush to the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush with Smart Pressure Sensor, and I have to say, I’m impressed. My dentist recommended the switch, and I don’t think I could ever go back. The smart pressure sensor ensures that I’m not brushing too hard and damaging my gums, while the electric power provides a deeper clean than I ever got with a manual brush. Overall, I highly recommend this toothbrush to anyone looking to upgrade their oral hygiene routine.

Pros: Holds its charge well. Travel case is sturdy and lightweight. Sensitive mode is useful especially if you’re new to electric toothbrushes. Effective and easy to use. I chose the black because any toothpaste shows up making it easy to keep clean.
Cons: The switch is flush with the handle and not easy to find by feel. It’s a pain cycling through the other modes before the toothbrush turns off. The low charge warning light is not easy to see, and only comes on when the brush is already starting to struggle. Very slow to charge. (Not a problem if you have the charger in the bathroom but my nearest socket is on the landing.)

I have had it for a year now and I love it.
It has 3 different brushing modes. I find the first one a bit too hard for me, but the medium one is perfect.
I normally use it once a day (I use a manual one as well) and the battery lasts for about 2 weeks. It takes one charge overnight to gt the battery full again.
To mention a downside, it doesn’t matter how thoroughly you rinse the toothbrush that it seems always there is a ring of toothpaste underneath that leaves a mark on the sink or charger.

My aunt was in the search for a new electric toothbrush. I ordered this product for her. He said she is happy with her new toothbrush and likes the light that comes in when you are pressing too hard. The toothbrush came with one head and the gift case. The case is a cheap plastic so it doesn’t add any value to the pack to be honest.
Overall not the greatest toothbrush I have seen. I would have liked it to have some indication which if the settings you are currently using rather than trying to guess.

This is a good toothbrush, the charge last really long. It looks sleek. It let’s you know it’s running out of charge, or when you put too much pressure on your teeth. Can’t speak to how loud it is, seems normal loudness you’d expect. I also really like that it doesn’t have rubber on it that can’t start peeling off, which was the issue with my last toothbrush with oral b. This is all plastic so it will be good with wear, can’t get damaged.
My one gripe with it is the on/off button, it’s really annoying, cos it’s one of those buttons that dip inwards, so you’re trying to press down on something and it doesn’t turn off. I would rather have a button that doesn’t dip inwards, rather level with the toothbrush, or even a button that sticks out would be better. For usability it is annoying because you feel like you’re pushing the button down to turn off but it doesn’t turn off. Hope that made sense. Personally I would remember that for next time I buy a toothbrush

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is the first time having an electric toothbrush and I think I’m switched for life now. Really does make a difference. It was a shock at first how powerful it is but after a week I love it and don’t think I’d ever go back to a manual toothbrush.

    Pros:
*Teeth feel super clean after using this, and whiter too (I’ve been using with the oral B whitening toothpaste).
*Love the vibrating timer to tell you after each 30 seconds of brushing and for the 2 minutes mark too.
*The red light to indicate when you use too much pressure.
*Colour, I got the pink and I love it.

    Cons:
*Noise!!! This is the biggest one for me, its pretty loud. My family haven’t really noticed or complained when I use it late at night or early morning, and so for me generally its no issue (I just make sure the bathroom door is shut)
My worry for the noise for me personally is since I travel alot and stay in hostels (often bathroom in the dormitory room with thin doors) so I worry it could be too loud then. So I do wish it was quiter.
*Second thing I’ve noticed is the supposedly “2 weeks lasting battery” does not hold up. I feel I have to charge it minimum once a week, (this is within the first week of owning) with using it twice a day at 2 minutes. So the battery doesn’t last as long as stated but for me it hasn’t been an issue sticking it on charge this often.
    * Charger connection, its a 2 pin prong, meant for a bathroom socket (I do not have) so had to get a plug adapter to be able to charge it. Simple USB-C connection would be preferred, or at least an adapter included in the box maybe.
*I haven’t had an issue holding the toothbrush or grip, however, I would have preferred a rubber grip to hold with, where as it is all plastic housing, I feel rubber would have been more comfortable and less slippery when wet.

Overall I do love this toothbrush and would recommend. I feel the negatives are minor, although the noise could be a big one for some people. It does the one job it’s meant to which is give your teeth a good clean! Happy with my purchase and just hope it lasts a good few years now.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersEmbarking on a journey to enhance my dental care routine, I recently acquired the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush with Smart Pressure Sensor, driven by the desire to achieve optimal oral health. After several weeks of consistent use, I am absolutely delighted to share my extensive 5-star review of this remarkable dental care companion. The Oral-B Pro 3 has far exceeded my expectations, transforming my brushing experience with its advanced features, superior performance, and dentist-recommended efficacy. Allow me to delve into the specific aspects that have made this electric toothbrush an outstanding addition to my daily dental care routine.

    1. Professional Clean and Guided Brushing Experience:

The Oral-B Pro 3 delivers a sense of professional clean every single day, revolutionizing my brushing routine with its innovative technology and intuitive design. The 360 visible gum pressure control has become a valuable guide, ensuring I adopt the most effective brushing techniques for optimal results. This feature has not only improved my dental hygiene but has also heightened my awareness of areas that require special attention, leading to an overall enhanced brushing experience.

    2. Powerful 3D Cleaning Technology:

At the core of Oral-B Pro 3’s exceptional performance lies its cutting-edge 3D cleaning technology, combining oscillation, rotation, and pulsation for unrivaled plaque removal. This dynamic cleaning action has proven to be significantly more effective than a manual toothbrush, resulting in visibly healthier gums and a remarkable reduction in plaque buildup. My teeth feel notably cleaner and smoother after each brushing session, giving me the confidence to face my oral health challenges head-on.

    3. Visible Gum Pressure Control for Gentle Brushing:

One of the most noteworthy features of the Oral-B Pro 3 is its visible gum pressure control system, which acts as a vigilant guardian for my oral health. When I brush with excessive force, the toothbrush automatically responds by stopping pulsations, reducing speed, and visually alerting me with a red indicator to protect my sensitive gums. This proactive safeguard has instilled a sense of trust in the toothbrush’s design, ensuring a gentle and safe brushing experience that prioritizes the well-being of my gums.

    4. Dentist-Inspired Round Brush Head:

The innovative round brush head, inspired by dental professionals, is an absolute game-changer in my dental care routine. The precisely designed bristles effortlessly cup each tooth, reaching every nook and cranny for a deep and thorough clean. What impresses me most is how gentle the brush head feels on my gums, despite the thoroughness of the cleaning action. This superior design has significantly improved my brushing efficacy and has proven to be a worthwhile investment in my dental health.

    5. Long-Lasting Battery Life:

The Oral-B Pro 3’s impressive battery life has been a boon to my busy lifestyle, providing more than 2 weeks of usage on a single full charge. This extended battery longevity has offered unrivaled convenience, as it allows me to enjoy uninterrupted performance during hectic schedules or extended travels. The peace of mind that comes with knowing my toothbrush will reliably serve me for an extended period is truly invaluable.

    6. Smart Brush Head Indicator:

A standout feature that has further streamlined my dental care routine is the smart brush head indicator. The Oral-B Pro 3 takes the guesswork out of when to change the brush head, as the bristles fade from green to yellow based on individual usage. This intuitive visual cue ensures that I consistently maintain a 100% cleaning efficacy, optimizing the performance of my toothbrush and promoting the longevity of the brush head.

    Conclusion:

In the realm of electric toothbrushes, the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush with Smart Pressure Sensor has undoubtedly set a new standard for superior dental care. Its 3D cleaning technology, visible gum pressure control, dentist-inspired round brush head, and smart brush head indicator have transformed my oral care routine from ordinary to extraordinary. Elevate your dental care to new heights with this exceptional dental innovation and experience the transformative impact it can have on your oral health and well-being.

First off this toothbrush has a lovely design and feel, the functionality of it is top notch, dentists always recommend an electric toothbrush and for us to clean well and all areas.

With this toothbrush you won’t be disappointed, from the moment you turn it on it feels and sounds like a mini engine in your hand, it’s powerful and it can clean every tooth with precision, most of all you can feel it properly cleaning the teeth and gums, unlike any of toothbrush I’ve used.

It has 3 modes – daily clean, sensitive clean and tooth whitening, they all feel vastly different, the sensitive one is mainly used for gums, not sure if the whitening is working yet but it has a nice feel when gliding across the teeth.

Overall I am very impressed with this brush, luckily I got it in the prime day sale, which I considered a bargain as it was down from 100! You will definitely get your moneys worth with this.

I have only charged it once so far and apparently it does last a while before next charge is needed.

Best brush on the market by far in my opinion!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI did a lot of research before buying this and it seemed to be the best electric toothbrush within my price range. It doesn’t have all the features of the most premium toothbrushes, but it has the features that are likely to be most beneficial to most people.
I find the timer very useful (I divide my mouth into quarters, brush each quarter for 30 seconds, and the brush pulses after 30 seconds as a reminder to move to a new section of my teeth). The pressure sensor lighting up is also a good indicator as to how hard i normally brush so I can correct this.
Downsides for me are the size of the brush head. It’s very hard to brush the back of my teeth without the pressure sensor lighting up. I also found that the charge doesn’t last for two weeks, although I am usually brushing for longer than 2 minutes at a time so perhaps this is why.
Replacement brush heads are expensive and I plan to explore alternatives.
I feel my teeth look whiter and my mouth feels cleaner since I started using this brush. All in all I think it’s a great product for the price!

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI bought this to replace my Philips sonicare (the 2nd one I’d had) which had stopped working properly after bang on 2 years meaning the warranty had therefore just expired (typical)!

I decided to give Oral B a go as it has a rotating brush head so is quite different to what I was used to. And I have to say, I am a fan of the rotating brush. It gives a really good thorough clean with less manual work as you don’t need to physically scrub with a back and forth motion.

The brush heads fade down to reach a yellow colour with each use indicating when it’s time to change them. Again, this is really helpful. I also like the finish on the toothbrush. It is not rubber (which I do not like), it is a smooth pastel pink plastic with a rubber button so isn’t ugly to have displayed on charge. I do prefer the appearance of the sonicare range, but it’s not bad. The button does have to be held down for quite a long time to switch off the toothbrush as there is a slower setting that can also be accessed via the button being short pressed.

A great feature is the red light sensor to tell you when you’re applying too much pressure, something I am often caught doing and this prevents you damaging your enamel. My previous (more expensive) Philips model toothbrush did not have this feature so another brownie point for Oral B!

Where my overall opinion is altered slightly is in the battery life. This brand new toothbrush (which claims to have a 2 week battery life when fully charged) does not have more than a few days worth of charge. Within the week I have to recharge it at least once. Whereas my Philips sonicare did last for a full 2 weeks without charging. And once the Philips model low battery light came on it’d last several more brushing cycles before dying. This Oral B toothbrush conks out pretty swiftly once that battery light comes on so you best hurry up!

Love the travel case. I always had that with my last toothbrushes and it’s great if you travel a lot as it fits 2 brush heads in it and protects it from damage when packing.

Overall, for the price this toothbrush is a great model. Nothing fancy, not packed with silly features (which often allows more room for failure) but it does have a few really good things going for it. Great for the price if bought on offer on Amazon. And has an extendable warranty inside so I registered online and got a 3 year warranty. Shame the battery isn’t as strong as other brands, but otherwise I have now converted from Philips to Oral B and I’m really pleased with the product!
